Aaaargh!;=)

Ok, sounded really dramatic;=)

But what I mean with my angry headline is that I HATE packing!!!! And even more when I go from winter to a bit warmer weather but still not super hot. All my summer clothes are stuffed in the storage so I dont have anything to bring more than jeans, t-shirts and tops. Well, I guess a small problem since I know LA offers really good shopping;=)

So what I need to get directly is a bathing suit or bikini for the cruise cause I have none of these. If someone knows a great place to get this and preferably cooler stuff, let me know!

Then the packing for Nemo is always a hassle. I dont want to forget those important things I cant get over there but most of the stuff is available when we arrive so if I have f-cked up totally and forgotten diapers (God forbid me;=) I can get it when we arrive.

We fly at noon tomorrow and will arrive in LA in the evening so our mission for Nemo during the flight is to keep him up as much as possible. Hehe! Let´s see how that goes, cause he always loves to sleep in the airplane;=)

Oh - I got my new stage dress for next saturday today and I love it!

  3. Don't worry, when you get here (hi from Los Angeles!) there will be 10,000 Ralph's and CVS stores and you can get whatever little necessities like diapers/baby medicine/food there.

    Also if you want to check up on Los Angeles weather go to forecast.weather.gov and enter Los Angeles, CA- it's pretty reliable

    Jeans and t-shirts are certainly great for today's weather- 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25 Celsius) here right now :)

    I suggest you to forget about packing and spend all your money when you arrive there.
    Ok, maybe not the wisest plan.
    You reminded me about my last flight, from Italy to Spain, in early December. The day before I carefully prepared my Ipod with Imaginaerum, and my dad was so sweet and agreed to listen to it with me, reading the lyrics (he has already been forced to listen to it in our car). Well, the point is that the Ipod didn't work!!! Luckily I had a plan B: I had brought also my old cd player with the cd! Ghgh, my dad didn't escape the album, anyway he liked it. ^_^
    By the way, we want the dress photos!!

    I just bought Imaginaerum (finally released in Canada :P) and I just wanted to tell you that, on first listen I think it sounds awesome! I'll need to listen to it again to fully appreciate it.

    It's somewhat different of what I'm used to hear from you guys, but I like it a lot. I really like the different tones you used with your voice (like in Scaretale for example). Can't wait to see you guys again live, I hope you plan to play in Montreal soon. I hope you enjoyed your stay during the filming of the movie. :)

  16. Hi Anette, preparing for the trip is really unpleasant work - I always take more luggage than I need. Therefore I wish you a more calm organization and even to forget something, will not be fatal, the most important things will be available - Nemo ;)).     I so wish I could of joined you and Nightwish along with thousands of other people on the 70,000 Tonnes of Metal cruise event....but it didn't work out this year. Who knows....maybe next year!!     Have you seen the news & what happened with the cruise ship that turned on its side :(((

    I really really hope that you will all be safe on the metal cruise...I thought about going to this but sadly too many commitments :( I know it will be amazing Iam just a little nervous with these horrible (real life) pirates that hide in the sea's & things that go wrong I really Hope it is the most beautiful experience of your life ....me I am just silly to worry but I do :( Will there be lots of security I hope so!!!!

    This dress also sounds exciting!

    Other than that, I've got nothing haha. But packing always sucks. You're always afraid that you'll forget something, etc. Or overpack, that's annoying too.

    As Melsa said, Ralph's and CVS stores are good to get things you might need to get for Nemo, and also if you go to a store we have here in the States called Target, you can get everything there, including nice bathing suits. I was just there and they just came out with all their new swimwear, and they have really cute stuff! Bathing suits and diapers, you can get it all at Target, plus a whole lot more! (No, I don't work for them!) Safe travels to you and I will see you next weekend!

Vi ska med familjen till San Fransisco, L.A. och Palm Springs i April :) Är väldigt excited, har inte varit utanför Europa, för det första, och före det andra far vi till Disneyland! :D Jag vet, jag vet, det är säkert otroligt långa köer och allt såntdär, men ändå! ;) Önskar att jag skulle fara nu, så skulle jag kunna komma på konserten :P Meeen jag ska läsa till studentskrivningarna.. I'm very sad u.u 'cause this year i'd like to study in the university, i have all the best wishes, talent and EVERYTHING in me... but I don't have money :'( and the education in my country is one of the most expensives in the world... The rich people put a price for everything in education, is all relationed with money, like a company... In my country, when someone finish the university, yet starts to PAY all the classes, the registers, the careers... with a price of millions and millions... So the people have to job all the life to pay the university.

    I don't have money to complete my registration in the university... so I can't study anything now u.u Anette, I don't know you, u don't know me... but in this hours of the night, my face is full of tears and ur blog is the one place where I can write this. I feel like someone is hearing me, even if I know you only in photos and albums.

    I don't want to give u my bad news... I don't want to turn off ur day :( but I want to SCREAM, why all the fucking life have a price :'( Why?

    One day I promise to myself... "I'll never hurt my heart and soul with the money". But I'm crying now. Because I can't pay my human rights.

    I always forget something when I travel...

    My sister bought Imaginaerum for me last Monday (I thought it would be released in Mexico til 2016!!! ha ha) And I finally listened to it last night.
    The sensation I had was the same I always have when I read my grandma's old book of Grimm's fairy tales, the first book I ever read. It's scary but wonderful, fascinating, strange and beautiful (Just like Imaginaerum is). And of course, I didn't understand it completely the first time I read it...through the years I've discovered new things and understand much more. It's the same feeling I have with Imaginaerum. I think I will find so much things every time I hear it and finally undestand it after a few years of listening.

    So thank you so much for this book of fairy tales, for it's wonderful music. It came to my life in a moment I really needed it. Specially the song Turn Loose the Mermaids...

Ou...do you hate something too ?,hah hah.Well that´s not necessarily anything so special,if thinks clothes but if is on question something else then can be different thing.I suppose on America is different kind of cloth stores though how much and that may be quite wide by qualitatively too...

    So,I looked LA at map and that is surprisingly big area,though comparing to Las Vegas what I supposed to be much bigger - and this Universal city is in a way own city part.Like whole city would been builted around that moviely world,well maybe not on that way either but little to that direction anyway.If someday I would have chance to move there,can fine be that I wouldn´t even wanted.

    Came little fluly feeling but I still don´t have that yet,hopefully doesn´t come either. Maybe little tiredness causes that,I would been eager to do so many things that doesn´t even have time so much,heh - and not power either so maybe better to try to take little calmly...

  38. If you do have to stop at a drug store in LA, make sure to buy tons of aloe. Lest you wake up more pink than tan after a day of fun in the sun. Being burned to a crisp will make a cruise considerably less enjoyable. Put it on before bed every night and it'll nip sunburn in the bud, and it moisturizes your skin as a nice bonus. ^_^ I'm sure at least one of the boys will be fool enough to get burned, so I'd bring extra to ease their suffering. I hope you all had a safe flight, and enjoy the warm LA weather!
