NIGHTWISH are proud to announce, that "Imaginaerum" has reached gold status in Germany, with more than 100.000 sold units.
Bandleader Tuomas Holopainen comments: "Germany never fails us! Only 5 weeks since the release and "Imaginaerum“ goes gold! Magical, wondrous, imaginative and grateful times we`re living. Huge thanks to all the fans and the fellowship of Nuclear Blast!"
Another gold level was reached in Greece, while the record already made triple platinum in their homecountry Finland.
But there are even more news to announce from Germany: also their former records "Once" has reched a triple gold level, and "Dark Passion Play" reached platinum!

I was really happy when I read yesterday that Imaginaerum reached gold in my country. And I think all the German fans who bought the album are happy to have it.
It's so sweet that you always thank us fans for buying your wonderful music. I think we have to thank you for doing one more wonderful and amazing album. So thank you, Anette, NW-boys and all the other ones who were involved in this. You all did a great job one more time.
Every morning I get up by hearing "Storytime" and "I want my tears back" and I can tell you there is no better way to start the day. =D I really don't like getting up that early but with hearing your beautiful voice it's fun. =)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great new! Congratulations for the band and all who worked for this amazing and fantastic and magical album! ;D I heard that once, and now, I'm going to buy it from one of the brazilian stores just to try to reach some good sell for you :)
Once is also a great album, but Dark Passion Play, for me, showed some good things coming... You know, it was dark and fantastic. I think DPP was the storm that comes before the calm and memories of something you never lived before, but you remember and it's there in your mind...
Okay, I think I imagined too much, hahaha.
Anyway, congratulations again! :D I'm really happy about this and I hope, one day Brazil also reach some good sell of Imaginaerum or some Nightwish album. :)
