Long sleep;=)

Good morning and happy saturday to you all!

We had a great evening yesterday where we ate great food at an asian restaurant, then went to the movies to see Taken 2. It wasn't as great as the first Taken but still really good;=)

After the movie the plan was to go to the concert but we sat there in the car and talked about what we wanted to do and we both felt like skipping the concert, rent some more movies and go home;=) So that what was we did!

We saw a horror movie called Chernobyl Diaries and it was scary...brrr.. so I can recommend it if you haven't seen it. We also rented Journey 2 to watch together with Seth and also Neverland for us to see. Its great when you can rent 3 movies for a week, no rush and you can watch them when you have time and everyone is up for it.

Now some nice coffee before we´re gonna go and pick up our darlings at mum´s place. I have missed them sooo much;=)

Enjoy your day now!

  1. Hi Anette!

Me too, I have seen both parts of "Taken" and I also think the first one was a bit better. There was more tension and also the action scenes were filmed better in my opinion. But the second one is good, too. I´m wondering if they will make a thrid part? Maybe with the sons of the gangster in part 2 which are mentioned in the film?

Enjoy your saturday and take always good care of yourself, please :).

    Hugs,
    Pascal

  3. Hello Nettan :)
Good to hear you had fun :)
I haven't watched Chernobyl Diaries yet, but watched the trailer and it really called my attention, so I'm gonna watched it any day soon.
I watched the 3 [REC] movies yesterday. I really enjoyed the first and second movie, but the third is really weird haha really a trash horror movie, didn't like it that much. Have you ever watched any of those? They are Spanish movies, zombie style haha

Anyway, I remember you said you like Within Temptation a lot, I'm listening to them right now and remembered they are doing some cover songs to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Have you heard any of those covers?
My favorite is Behind Blue Eyes
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shEL3EjWS-I
but I really enjoyed their cover for David Guetta's Titanium and Gotye's Somebody That I Used to Know.
In case you haven't listened to the covers yet I recomend you do that, all cover are really good and they are all available at youtube :)

Have a wonderful weekend Anette, hope it is sunny as it is here :D

Kisses and lots of love from Brazil

  4. Hi Anette!

I've not heard of any of those movies you mentioned. There are so many films now in the world that I actually wonder if one of these days we'll run out of titles.

I remember as a child in the village I was raised in we had a video shop next to the train station. Back then in the 80's it was all video cassette as I'm sure you remember. My mum used to love renting movies from the video shop. I distincly remember her renting the first Die Hard movie, Beverly Hills Cop, and lots more. And she'd allow me and my younger brother to watch some of them despite being underage :D

As a child the one movie I wanted to see that she wouldn't allow was Robocop ( excellent movie which is more arthouse than hollywood in my opinion ) for obvious reasons. Btw, there's a re-make of Robocop scheduled for next summer.

I don't consider myself a film buff but a film at the cinema is an excellent thing to do late on a Fri or Sat night. As a date or an outing with friends. Films are meant to be watched on a very big screen.

The best film I've seen in the past 10 years is a film called Phone Booth. I recommend it to you Anette if you have not seen it already :) It might also make a really good play in a theatre ( a phone booth on stage, voice of the sniper in the whole of the theatre ).

Take care Anette. Enjoy your Saturday :)

  5. Anette, I forgot to say in my first post when I mentioned the re-make of Robocop, the actor playing the lead role of Robocop is an actor called Joel Kinnaman. He is swedish :) From Stockholme I think :)

An I'm trying to find a band because I want to be a singer when I'm finished my school. Lots of people say I can sing very well(I can't I think but give it a try)

Going to write a story again!

    Bye!

  10. I love horror movies that are really terrible, lol. They make me laugh more than anything. I refuse to see Taken 2 because I really liked the first one and I know the second one will not be as good. Sequels never are!

  11. Hi Anette, glad you and Johan had a fun night last night :), can't say I thought taken 2 was any good though, mind you I only saw it so I wasn't stuck in town doing nothing for 4 hours, not my sort of film. Chernobyl Diaries sounds more like my sort of thing though, I love horror films, have you ever seen the Masters of Horror series? Some truly amazing films in it.

Also I would like to thank you for your kind words regarding my grandmother, the prognosis is even worse now, and we've been told even if she does recover she'll need constant care, which she would not want... unfortunately my grandmother is in New Zealand, and my family is in Australia, so only my Mum is going over to see her. But thank you so much for just listening to me, this has been very painful for my family of course, but it does mean a lot to have some kind words from you.

Thank you so much, you are truly a lovely lovely woman Anette.

    Love Meghan

  12. Hello Anette.
I saw the movie at Chernobyl, is interesting, horror movies is one of my favorites.
It has released a movie of my country, Spain, based on the 2004 tsunami. You should see it when it opens in your town, I recommend it 100%
Perhaps you've heard of that movie, "The Impossible".

  14. Betty Blue: Hi! yeah, its definitely different and also scary;=)

Alvaro: Hi and thanks for the tip, I havent heard of The Impossible but will check it out for sure;=) We saw the trailer for another scary movie called Sinister, that looked soooo good;=) Check it out here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgYxydrVlDk

Meghan; No, Taken 2 wasn't that good, I agree. Seeable, but nothing more. Should had watched Skyfall instead;=) So sorry to hear about your grand mother and especially since you live far from each other;=( yes, its always hard when someone close are getting seriously ill and I hope you all can support each other in these hard days. Take good care!

Tiff: yeah, do not see it. I mean, it was a lot of action and so on, but the story was lame.

Sabine: Cool u want to be a singer;=) If you have adds in music maybe you can put an add there? We have those here and they can help to find people to play with;=)

Brianna; Hi! yes, we had and extra nice since he´ll head out on their European tour november 8th for 2,5 week and we´ll miss him.

The dead unicorn; Yeah, I am happy I´ve found a hot metal guy who also treats his lady with big respect;=) So I am lucky! We were gonna see Linnea Henriksson, a girl who sings in Swedish. But we felt a movie night was nicer;=) And Chernobyl Diaries was really good;=) I also want to see the movie coming soon to cinemas called Sinister. The trailer looks vicious; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgYxydrVlDk

    Dark Queen; Yes, it is;=)

Tom: Hi! yeah, good movies you talk about;=) I loved Beverly Hills Cop! And yes, Joel Kinnaman is a good actor, will be interesting to see him as RoboCop;=) Haven't seen Phone Booth I think, need to check that out! Thanks;=)

Daniel: I love WT and Sharon is for sure the best singer;=) I love all the songs they´ve covered. Would be fun to go to their big show in november;=) Are you going?

Logan; Yeah, apart from all the action scenes, the story was pretty lame.

Pascal; I am sure there will be a Taken 3;=) The ending surely made that possible.

  16. Evening Anette! Yes, sometimes just staying at home with your loved ones and friends is the best way to spend an evening. I saw the new Silent Hill film in the cinema yesterday and while the special affects and visuals are really amazing I feel the story was rather dissapointing.

Chernobyl Diaries looks really interesting. I'm guessing it's a psychological horror film? I hope its not like Paranormal Activity, that film nearly made me s*** myself haahhaa! Enjoy your evening!x

  17. Hello again Anette, thanks for answearing :)
I wish I could go to that concert, but I live way too far away in Brazil :/
From the news we're getting it's gonna be a tremendous concert! You should go, I think you would enjoy it a lot! :)
    Have a wonderful Sunday

  18. Hi Anette, I agree, I only saw taken to kill time. I'll probably see Skyfall soon, was hoping to see Cloud Atlas, but my town isn't even showing it.

And thank you for the kind words. Although I can't visit my grandmother, she was visiting not long ago, and she was healthy, I would much rather remember her as healthy and happy rather than unconscious in a hospital bed...
Had the same with my grandfather earlier this year. It is painful, but I did have them around growing up. Just doing what I can to be supportive of my Mum. Again, thanks.

Also, going to watch a movie that looks creepy as hell later, a horror movie called Smiley, the mask alone is scaring the sh*t out of me!
