Johan left early this morning and we miss him already, but hope he´ll have lots of fun on tour;=)
I have just written down some lyrics for my solo songs and sent them to the people who are in charge of the show I´m gonna perform them in soon. So exciting and soon I can tell you about this event;=) First time I´ll sing my OWN songs and its just so fun and totally amazing that I am gonna perform songs that I have written and not someone else´s songs. Special and I am longing for it;=)
Enjoy this day and I hope it´s not as rainy where you all are, as it is here in Helsingborg...

I would love to see you perform your own songs, and just a question, for performing, would it mostly be in Sweden and around Europe if you are with another band or something like that?

Dear Anette, In Poland, raining from Monday. Outside is gray and gloomy.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a soldier and now he went to the training ground for 1,5 months. So I know what itis like when You miss the loved person.
The hardest thing is when goes on a peacekeeping mission for Irag or Afganistan. Then he is not at home for 7 months. I miss him and pray for his safety.

ReplyDeleteFor your new solo album, are you going to add a bit of a symphonic element to some of your songs since you were singing that kind of music with Nightwish for a good while. Your voice sounded amazing on Imaginerum and Dark Passion Play and I was just curious as to what direction your new album is going to go and wether or not you will keep some of those hard rock influences as well.

Well, I don't like to write about NW here in your blog because I think it's past but since I read this wonderful news I have to say it,
ReplyDeleteYesterday for the first time since you left i watched some NW videos with the substitute singer and god damn it I missed you already, now I miss you even more! Really love you in NW but I'm not saying that i miss you as a part of the band, I'm saying that Miss you as a person, miss your voice and your charisma on stage! You didn't have to look like yeah i'm badass girl and headbanging all the time to make a great show, the only think that I regret is that I had the chance to see you live once and I wasn't able to go! But from the bottom of my heart I hope I see you again kickin ass with your own songs, making great gigs by yourself maybe if you wanna do music full time, see you touring again also =) really hope you continue to do your AMAZING work because you know.. I don't wanna say bad things but your past buddies over there, they're kinda losing it ...BIG TIME!

I love rainy days!I'm usually in the best of moods when it rains.But I know that for children it's such a pain in the ass - my brother would go out and play even when it's raining,but he clearly can't.So,when the weather's bad outside,my mum has a really hard time trying to find something for him to do,in order for him not to get bored.What did Nemo do?Hope he had a nice day!

Nice to hear that you'll be performing soon and singing your songs. Will you be singing some rock songs in your album? I think you sounded great singing with Mustasch, love that final part of the medley (I wanna dance with somebody part).
I was looking forward to see you again with NW in December singing Imaginaerum songs, longing to see Rest Calm live (love this one, great vocals) but I'm not going anymore. I’ve always supported band's decisions, I liked Tarja but understood when she left, I learned to love your voice singing NW songs, I was happy and proud to see you singing better and better the songs that I love so much, but since the day you left I'm feeling so disappointed and I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't enjoy the show this time :(
Not hating anyone, but the love I had for the band is broken.
At least, I have great memories from 2008 concert (it's been 4 years today) and to have taken a picture with you and the guys at the hotel in São Paulo. That was so important for me in a year that was quite hard.

Heeey! How awesome you will be performing your own stuff soon! That's great, really. You deserve the chance to show the world 100% Anette music. Every musician should be able to do that because it must be boring to be on just a tool musician for someone else's music where you can't create much.

I am kicking myself for not seeing you in concert with Nightwish in KC. I had some work and thought I would catch you next time. My husband, son and daughter went and had a fabulous time. When I write songs I use things that has happened in my life to write lyrics and I also prefer to sing more melancholic songs than happy songs. Don't know why, actually;=) At the moment I am writing a song in my native language, Swedish, and its a bit more tricky than writing in English, Maybe cause its so much closer to the heart when its my own language. but I hope I can do more songs in Swedish in the future.
