Saturday outfit and music
So, today I´m doing red again, wearing my red leather pants I got a couple of years ago in Zara in Helsinki;=) Combined them with my black star sweater and my necklace from H&M with the little cute bug on it;=)

Cheers Anette for sharing! :) I see Rammstein's Sonne is on your playlist for today. That vid you posted is the first time I've heard that for years. Also the first time I've seen the video for years. Love it's warpped version of the tale of Snow White :) Good track. Another thing is the video for Sonne reminds me a little bit of the video for Storytime in an odd parculiar way. I think it's the red hair bow Snow White wears which is like the red hair bow you wear in the video for Storytime :)

Should I feel bad? I read this post and the first thing I think is not how great you look (I hope you know that anyway) but "Oh how great she likes Rammstein!" You know, my Dad brought me up to become a Metalhead (although he wants me to look like Debbie Harry) and so I was raised to love and adore R+. And since they´re German, we have finally music to be proud of ^^

Hi Anette. i'm glad i'm finally brave enough to "Talk" to you.. I admire you as a singer and as a person, for your choices, for your opinions, for beaing such an amazing mother and for the way you treat us, your fans.. You've got a lovely fashion style and as i've seen we have one thing in common.. red and black.. these 2 are the perfect colours ;)).. the outfit looks lovely on you. I've listened to the songs and really enjoyed Halestorm since it was my first time listening to it.. overall, great choices for a november saturday .. ReplyDeleteThere is this girl on my twitter, who is suffering an eating disorder, she self-harms and, as you can see, she's really depressed. I try to tell her that she's worth so much more than she thinks of herself, but she just won't Believe me. She's suicidal, attempted suicide, and I can't do anything, because she lives on the other side of the world. I am seriously worried, also because she just tweeted something like; "okay, how many sleepingpills I need to overdose?" It shocked me, and I felt so hopeless. I want to help her so badly, but I really don't know how. She doesn't Believe she has a problem herself, so she doesn't listen when I tell her to seek professional help. What can I do?!
I don't wanna lose a girl like her, since she's a friend of me...
Hope you can help me...

When I first met your voice I was not really convinced and I missed the more operatic voice terribly but then, suddenly, while taking part in the carnival of life I realized the beauty of your voice and your soul. Now I am very angry with a so called lonely ocean soul who seems to think that the voice telling his stories is not important. Otherwise he wouldn´t change it "on a kind of regular basis". We are your fans, we are NW fans. That's not okay. Hiding informations like this is like doctor is hiding information that (for example) someone's mom is very sick and she have only 1 month... When I realized that you really left NW i started crying... I have NW altar in my home (I can take photos for you) and I have one picture drawed by my friend where is only you. Now this picture stay upside-down, because I can't look at this drawing where is you (It's not because I hate you, it's because I feel so sad looking at you)... My brother is laughing at me, because I'm a men and I'm crying because one woman left band... I realized him that when I meet NW my world has changed... He don't understand that NW for me is like best friend... I fell in love in NW, because i fell in love in your voice, dear Nettie... This is so hard for me to writing this, because I cannot stop crying, but remember Nettie you are my little angel. Now when NW is without you I fell like someone ripped my heart... I feel empty inside.... I know that band is no only singer, but band have other members, but for me you are the cherry on top of the cake... You bring so much happiness and love to this band. You are amazing.

HALESTORM!!! LOVE them!! I've seen them in concert 3 times and plan to see them again at the end of the year :D. LZZY Hale has an incredible voice!! And they all live around the areas I grew-up. I wish I had seen them more when they were up and coming.

ReplyDeleteElize - I have been in a similar situation and know how upsetting it can be. Contact the twitter admin and tell them what is going on. If you know her name and roughly where she lives you can google her local police or social services and contact them. Depression is an illness which needs to be be treated by a doctor, it isn't something you can reason with or persuade away.
Apart from telling her to seek treatment and letting local authorities know she is at risk there is nothing you else you can do. Don't feel that you have to keep in contact with her, and I would really advise against getting more involved as Anette suggested.
You can contact a mental health charity that is local to you (http://www.mind.org.uk/ and http://www.samaritans.org/). They will be able to give you support and much better advise than I can.
I know... but... I care so much about her, even though I don't know her. She's always there when I need her, and I don't want to break my promise, I promised her I would be there for her, no matter what is was that's bothering her. I know I should tell someone, but I only know she lives in America. That's all...

Hello Anette! I told you you would love Halestorm! That's one of my favorite songs. You should listen to Mz. Hyde and Rock Show, I think you will LOVE Rock Show. I met this Singer a few years ago at a music festival in Ohio, X-Fest, before the band was this popular. And she is a very down to earth person. Her voice live gives me chills.
