How are you today? I have a question to you. are you thinking about getting married to Johan? are you engaged? I'm engaged for a month and really happy about it. It's great to know that someone is always there for you and you have a strong shoulder when needed. it's great when you find the right person and live in has common goals. Anette, I've noticed that you wrote how you get such a dry skin that itches during winter time. I don't know if you're aware but you actually describing some symptoms of Dermatitis. Or Eczema to give it's overall medical name. Eczema can happen to a person at any age. I've suffered from this medical problem for the last 12 years and for some reason it is worse during the cold of the winter months.
ReplyDeleteI only suffer from this on my hands and wrists.
My hands become dry and itchy. And unfortunately because I work on a hospital ward I'm regularly washing my hands. And even though for the last 2 years the soap dispensers are now a much milder soap my hands and wrists still end up cracking and bleeding and feeling very sore :( I sometimes have to take a day off work for my skin to calm down coz they become so sore.
I use a special cream moisturiser for my hands and wrists and I wear gloves outside during the winter.
I think you should make an appointment to see your doctor about it :)

On a finishing note in a previous post I wanted to say that as good as Floor Jenson was I still wished it was you with Nightwish instead at the Manchester Apollo last night :) But I didn't say that originally because I was a bit worried about how you might react. But I read another person's post saying how they wished you could of been there and also your reply. So I'm saying the same thing as that person :)

ReplyDeleteToday I read some really sad news on the internet about bullying and it directly reminded me of you, since you are fighting for it so well.
In The Netherlands, a 20 years old boy ended his life last week, and today, this obituary notice came into the newspaper: http://www.camilleri.nl/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Tim-Ribberink.jpg
A part of his goodbye-letter to his parents is on it and it says:
"Dear mom and dad,
I've been mocked, bullied, teased and locked out my whole life. You guys (mom and dad) are fantastic. I hope you're not mad at me. So long, Tim"
A lot of people are saying that teachers need to discuss this notice at school and I totally agree. It's sad that things like this happen. I wonder how the bullies feel about this when they read it.
I hope that this will wake people up and realise that this is a serious problem.
I hope that you can add some attention to this on your blog.

Oh, how many parfumes you have?!! It's nice and convenient, because each season may need its fragrance, nice to change. And you have a really good taste, I believe. The only parfum I did not like is that one: Lolita Lempicka...I read you liked it and was curious, went straight to the perfumery and: what is this? Haha. To strong for me hihihihihi. But I understand why you like it;=) Do you still like it?
p.s. there are HD videos on youtube from last night, watched a couple of them and all I have in mind is that verse from T.'lyrics: "Oh C.. how I hate what I have become...take me home!Get away, run away, fly away!" Haha;=) Changes are good as I already said. for parfumes and many other things...but too much changes in certain fields can often cause the loss of credibility....

Lolita was one I loved some years ago and I actually don't remember how it smelled so can't say if I still like it;=) But its so different with perfumes, someone can love one and another one hate it! Thats so sad and makes me really really down to read;=( Its such a shame that someone has to go through these things and not seeing any other way out from it than taking your life. I really really hope all these stories can lead to better awareness and that we all try and make the world a nicer place for everyone to live in. And accept each other for our differences instead of trying to make everyone molded into our own wishes of how everyone should be or act.

Wow Anette! I am so happy to see you are back blogging. I have missed much being away on holiday in Morocco to present my newborn and stayed four months (my grandmother does not have internet!)and have not been able to keep up with events. I did know that you left the band, but thought you had quit blogging! I am so happy that you are back. And in truth, back as Anette Olsson to talk about all things you love and want to discuss. Being apart of something is great but having to sacrifice time and family it is not worth it. Believe me, I understand this myself having made the choice to move away from my home country of South Africa to Canada to keep my children from seeing the hate that still goes on there. We are white and have many black friends and still it is not an ideal place for them to see what you have mentioned about bullying and such. How do you explained to a child who is told by others not to play with his friend because of his colour? I suffered this and was beat up! broken bones and shunned because I would not give my friend up. It has been a life long battle that I was willing to fight for her, but never wanted it for my family. It hurts, but when you love your family, you must do what is best. Regardless of what decisions you make, you are loved for who YOU are, not just for singing in band. I have always admired your strength, courage and spunk. And so happy to you back and happy to be HOME back in Canada.

ReplyDeleteRadoslava: Hi! Yeah, Oriflame have great products;=) do you know that I actually have been selling Oriflame in my younger days? Went home to people showing the stuff and sold;=) Fun extra job! Well, my hair color is mixed at the moment since we did a bleach on the whole hair in may to get the black off. Then afterwards Amal took my natural hair color which is a middle blond and dyed the bottom of my hair with that so I don't have to color my hair so much. Then the rest of the hair has a bit of a red tone to it due to the black color I´ve had in it from before. Biut now I am letting my hair rest and grow out and then have my own hair color in the end;=) Sleep well!
