Cool outfit, Anette, grey really suits you!! What I've wanted to ask you for a long time now: You once (quite some time ago) posted a comment on some kind of lash growth serum you applied to make your lashes a bit fuller and longer. I've always wanted to try something like this as well and now I wonder if the serum actually helped you and if you would recommend it or not?! Thanks for helping me out here! ;=) Have fun at Ikea and hopefully you get the bed for Nemo you want! Hugs Sabine
Anette, Your outfit is very simple but very nice and this jeans look perfect with whole look. Have o nice week. In Poland now is raining so I hope rest of this week will be nice and sunny. magda
Hi Sabine;=) Yes the brand I used is called Neulash, but they are dangerous and have been stopped together with other similar brands here in Sweden so I don't want to recommend this to you. The reason is that they have a medical substance in them which can change the eye color among other things;=(
I didn't know about that... once I've bought one product for eyelashes from a swiss brand called Mavala. Do you know if it was considered dangerous in Sweden too?
Hi Anette :) This is my first time commenting here. I just had read a few of your recent posts and thought I'd join in. I was so happy to that you like Halestorm :D I think their vocalist, Lzzy, is one of the best rock singers around right now.
And I just wanted to bring up a point related to the post about women in media, that isn't often brought up. Example: Lzzy was put on some magazine's list of "sexiest women in rock" close to the top of the list. She mentioned once in some interview that this doesn't make her more confident about herself at all. Rather, now she feels she has to worry about how she looks more because she is held to this ridiculous standard. It seems you really can't win:[
Also a good article :http://www.cracked.com/article_19785_5-ways-modern-men-are-trained-to-hate-women.html It's from a comedy website, but it brings up valid points.
This is not related, but I really like your hair color.
Anette, thanks for answering so quickly! ;=) Wow, I had no idea these serums had medical substances in them that can be so dangerous! And changing the eye color really doesn't sound good, who wants that?! Ok, well thanks anyway and I guess I will just stick to my good old mascara then. ;=)
Ok the link Halsa posted I think is very much spot on, on a lot of issues, particularly regarding the issue of weight and perceived beauty, the idea that a man thinks that the world owes him a 'hot' girl is a huge problem, and also the issue that some men think they have to be dominant, or rather have all the power to be a 'real' man, it's just all total rubbish.
Anyway I'm not going to rant all night, I need to sleep. Nighty night :).
Annette, your outfit looks great! I wonder: For how many years do you wear your clothes, considering that you have so many? And what do you do with the ones that you don't want to wear anymore?
Hey Anette! You look great today :) I love bik bok - just checked it out ;) I wanted to say thank you for your answer on my comment in the anorexia post.. you can't believe how much it means to me. But I think that I am falling back into eating disorder :( my weight is actually normal the doctor told me, but ... Everytime when I eat something I feel so incredibly bad and when I am hungry I feel 'good' because I know my body would need something and that I loose weight in this moment... Well.. :( Live, Eva
Eva: Hi! Yeah, Bik Bok is great and to great prices;=) And about your feelings when you eat, they will be there for a long time and the only way to beat them is to say to yourself that its OK to eat. And to try and not punish yourself when you have eaten something. Its so hard and of course I also fall back at times and I will always be the one who stops to eat when I am under stress. During tours I never ate almost anything. Thats my way of dealing with stress. But if you just know about these feelings you have and work with them day in and day out and try to accept that food isn't your enemy, I hope you can beat it and one day eat normally without guilt feelings. Its a long road but you can be better! And try to eat food you know are a good choice, so you don't get that feeling and can tell your brain that its healthy and therefore ok;=)
Elize: Hi and good job!!! Religion and History are favorites of mine;=) And "truth" is always good to stay true to;=) Good luck tomorrow!
Fiona; Hi and thanks;=) Well, that depends. I keep jeans for ages;=) Nice clothes as winter knits, jackets, shoes and nicer dresses I keep for ages too;=) Then some cheaper clothes that are a bit more "fashion" I usually only wear for that season and then give away. If its not something that can be used again. I also sell clothes in a second hand store 2 a year and then its clothes I have either outgrown or just don't like.Take care;=)
Halsa; Hi and first thanks for your hair comment;=) And then, yes, I like her a lot! I am not so into metal voices otherwise but she is really good;=) And I have seen that she has been named the sexiest singer and so on and as you say, that can give a pressure to you too. Or maybe you do not want to be called sexy! Not every woman wants to be a sex object. I, personally think that its to much focus on if a singer is sexy in the so called metal community and that is, due to the majority of men listening to metal. You need to be sexy, throw your hair around, preferably wear very sexy clothes and also its great if you do magazines half naked. And as they wrote the article you sent me, its because of how men are taught to look on women. I, as a mother of two sons, do not want my sons to look at women like that and will do everything to teach them to treat women with the same respect as men get. Thanks for the link and take good care;=)
Ok no honestly,do your eyes get prettier and prettier everyday?because it looks so. However, you look gooorgeous! And this outfit does indeed look comfy and warm, just what one needs right now! Have a nice evening, xx
Hey Anette! Love your jeans- they're fantastic! I'm the skirt/dress person, but these jeans are amazing. I'm gonna turn 21 soon, and I was thinking about getting a tattoo...so I was wondering- when did you get your first tattoo? How long did it take you to decide? Do you sometimes feel regret for a certain tattoo or something, like, have you ever disliked the end result? I just have so many questions, because I want to be 100% before I get my first tattoo. Cheers!
Music of the night: Hi and thanks so much;=) It is very comfy;=) Sleep well!
Emma: Hi and thanks, these jeans are my favourite ones. They are so different with the skull in the helmet;=) And regarding tattoos: I didn't do my first one until I was around 30. Not because I didn't want to earlier, but I had jobs where it wasn't so appropriate to have tattoos and also my mum doesn't like tattoos;=) The first ones I did was two small ones when I was on a vacation in Gran Canaria and they were easy to choose but I actually regretted one of them and hid it with another bigger tattoo later on. Otherwise I haven't regretted any of them and wear them with pride;=) They all show my different ways of life the last 11 years and how I´ve felt and what I´ve done so they will be nice memories when I am sitting in an old people´s home;=) If you decide to do one, think that it shall be something that is truly YOU and do not make a to small one cause you will only want a bigger then afterwards;=) Good luck!
The dead unicorn; Hi and thanks;=) Well, I don't know if its my aging making them change or what;=) So sweet of you, thanks;=)
Hi Anette ! :) I think it's a nice outfit..But, getting away from fashion, i cannot avoid seeing your cd awards behind you every time you post a pic..I wanted to ask to you if you have definitely left the music industry, or we can hope to listen some solo work in the following years..Have a nice day :)
Hi Anette! Good morning though its 10:30pm here in the US as I write. :^) love the outfit. Having a all night Anette musicfest here at work. :^) I am fortunate that I can listen to my iPod all night at work! So 8hrs of Anette bliss!
Thanks for the reply and the advice! :) That's an interesting thing, does it really work that way, that if you get a small one, you'll want a bigger one later on? Yeah, it's another issue I'm thinking about- whether it will be good for any possible job or not, that's why I want it on my shoulder blade, in a place that would not be as visible as, for example a wrist (I always wanted a sun on my wrist).
Cool outfit, Anette, grey really suits you!!
