Hi all, Totally exhausted after a long day with several hours in the mall where we played with Lego, ate hamburgers, bought new sweaters for Nemo since all he had were to small, we're in the toy store where Nemo found a microphone and sang for the whole store and were the great entertainer:-)











Then pick up Seth from his football, get some groceries, cook dinner and then - boom, I had to lie down in the couch and watch Desperate housewives:-) Still so tired so will just rest tonight and no comments will be answered. Good morning Saturday!!!

Oh, finally we could sleep LONG!!!!  Man, it was so needed!!

Nemo woke up earlier, climbed into my bed and was lying sleeping for hours on my arm;=) So nice and perfect saturday morning;=)

Now time to get ready to take Seth to his football practise and me and Nemo are heading for IKEA and the big mall, Väla. Will be crowded but I want to see some people today;=)

Yes!

I just finished writing my new song that I´ve been working on for some weeks;=) This time I am doing the lyrics in Swedish and it was a bit hard but also challenging to do that and now I´ve just sent it to my friend Fredrik Bergh to see how it will sound after the music is added. Since I don't play instruments so well, I always need help with recording that and Fredrik is fast and really good at what he´s doing;=)

The way we work is that I sing the song and record it directly in to Garage Band and set the tempo I want it to have. Then I write down the lyrics and also add little comments to Fredrik how I have thought the song should be "built". Then I send the song to iTunes and email lyrics and the song file to Fredrik and voila! - his magic can start working;=)

I love the technology of today, making it so easy to create music, even when we live far apart in the country!

Happy friday to you all;=)

Today its friday and the music of today will be from one of the ladies who has inspired me most when it comes to singing. My mum introduced me to Randy Crawford when I was really young and since then I´ve loved her! She sings with such emotion, such tenderness and still powerful. And I can hear every single word she´s singing;=)

Björn Strid och Anette Olzon inviger Helsingborg Arena på hemmaplan

Helsingborg Arena invigs den 30 november med en magnifik gala. Nu kan vi stolt presentera ännu två tunga namn, två av Helsingborg största musikprofiler till det redan tidigare starka artistuppbådet.

Björn Strid och David Andersson, sångare och gitarrist från det världskända, Helsingborg-bördiga metalbandet Soilwork kommer att delta på invigningen av Helsingborg Arena, Soilwork som precis har färdigställt sin nya skiva, som kommer att vara ett dubbelalbum med titeln "The Living Infinite", som släpps i mars. David och Björn spelar även i det hyllade classic rock bandet The Night Flight Orchestra tillsammans.

-       Vi är väldigt exalterade över att dela scen med så fantastiska artister, som spänner över väldigt många genrer. Vi kommer bjuda på unika tappningar av både Soilwork och The Night Flight Orchestra latar, på invigningen, säger Björn Strid.

 Anette Olzon har under de senaste åren turnerat världen runt som sångare i Nightwish.

-       När jag blev tillfrågad att vara med på invigningen blev jag så glad och stolt och desto ledsnare blev jag när det krockade med min och Nightwish Sydamerika-turné. När nu jag och Nightwish gick skilda vägar öppnades så fönstret att delta igen och jag är så glad att jag nu får stå på Arenan framför alla kära Helsingborgare. Och för första gången kommer jag att sjunga mina egna sololåtar som aldrig framförts tidigare så det blir en speciell kväll för mig på alla sätt, säger Anette Olzon

 Helsingborg Arena började byggas 2009 och är stadens nya huvudarena för inomhusidrott, konserter, mässor, möten och andra typer av evenemang. Läget och arenans multifunktionalitet har bäddat för en ny mötesplats för stadens invånare och tillresta gäster. Arenan rymmer upp till 5 500 personer.

Sedan tidigare är det klart att galan kommer att ledas av två av Sveriges största tv-personligheter; Tina Nordström och Peter Settman. Klara för invigningsgalan är även The Sounds, Veronica Maggio, Robert Wells, Sanne Salomonsen, Eric Saade, Sarah Dawn Finer, Burnt Out Punks, Helsingborgs Symfoniorkester under ledning av dirigent Christoffer Nobin. Helsingborg Arena are opened november 30th with a magnificent gala evening, Now we are proud to announce two heavy names, two of Helsingborgs biggest music profiles, to the already strong field of artists participating.

Björn Strid and David Andersson, singer and guitarist from the world known metal band Soilwork from Helsingborg will participate in the opening of Helsingborgs Arena. Soilwork who just finished their new album, which will be a double album with the title "The living Infinite", that are being released in march next year. David and Björn are also both playing in the celebrated classic rock band The Night Flight orchestra.

- We are very excited to be get to share the stage with so many great artists, from so many different genres. We will perform unique interpretations of both Soilwork and The Night Flight orchestra songs in the opening, Björn Strid says.

Anette Olzon has during the past years toured the world as the singer in Nightwish.

- When I was asked to perform in the opening gala I got so happy and proud but also really sad when it clashed with mine and Nightwish South American tour. Now when me and Nightwish have gone seperate ways the window again opened and I am so happy to stand in the Arena in front of all dear people from Helsingborg. And for the very first time I will perform my own solo songs who has never been performed before, so it is a very special evening for me in every way, Anette Olzon says.

Helsingborgs Arena started to be built in 2009 and is Helsingborgs new main arena for indoor sports, concerts, events, meetings and other events. The location and the arenas multi functionality has opened for it to be a new meeting place for the cities citizens and incoming guests. The arena holds up to 5 500 people.

Since before its known that the big opening gala will be led by two of Swedens biggest TV hosts: Tina Nordström and Petter Settman. Ready for the opening are also The Sounds, Veronica Maggio, Robert Wells, Sanne Salomonsen, Eric Saade, Sarah Dawn Finer, Burnt out Punks, Helsingborgs Symphonic Orchestra under Christoffer Norbin. To the accompaniment are also Helsingborgs own concert hall choir contributing.

So tired last night...

...that I fell asleep in the couch and when I woke up a bit later I was still in the dream zone and looked on the other side of the couch and when there were no Nemo lying there, I yelled: Nemo! And then rushed up to search for him cause I thought he had wandered off somewhere... went into his bed and there he was. And of course, since I put him to bed some hours earlier...haha! I guess I was not totally in the "real" world and therefore I decided to go to bed straight ahead so an early evening.

Had lots of weird dreams and when the phone rang this morning to wake me up, I thought;: Who the f-ck is calling this early?=)

Sooo...a weird evening and night, but well, I am up now and Seth too, but Nemo really doesn't want to wake up so have to go and try again;=)

Need to sleep..

...early today so I am gonna head for bed now. I have taken a nice long bath and painted my nails cause tomorrow I have a photo session in the morning so want to feel fresh and nice;=)

Had my dear friend Linda here today and we ate sushi, yummie! We talked a lot about this and that and nice people and not so nice people and we decided that in the end, we still believe its better to be one of the nice people;=) Aren´t we very wise?;=)

But sleep really well all of you and hope your days have been truly nice and wonderful! And if not, I am sure tomorrow will be a better one;=)

Oh, I´m so tired today so just putting on some sort of outfit to go and get Seth at his friend was hard;=) But here you go:

 My leopard dress from Gina Tricot (have worn it on stage this tour), my lovely grey wool top and my cute ski beanie since I am cold today;=)

Now time to get Seth before cooking dinner, will write more later on;=)

Back home...

...half an hour ago and we´ve had a wonderful, relaxed time with my brother, his wife and their boys;=) Seth and Nemo were really good and almost didnt fall asleep on the way back home but then just before Helsingborg they both passed out, so I had to carry Nemo all the way up from the garage and 4 floors up;=) Well, a great exercise for sure!

I´ll answer as many comments as I can now before my favourite series Homeland starts and then I continue tomorrow;=)

Early bird

That´s what Nemo was this morning. I don't know why he woke up at 6 already, cause he normally is morning tired, but well, maybe having a hungry day;=)

So yeah, we´re up since a long time and I am tired... I hope I´ll feel less tired soon since we are going to my brothers family today and its a longer distance to drive there. Maybe I can take a nap before leaving;=)

I guess you´re either a morning person or an evening person and when it comes to me, I love to sleep in the mornings, but when I worked in the office I always went up at 6, put on my running shoes and went out for a run. No problem at all=) But at that time I also went to bed at 22 in the evening, at the latest, and nowadays I don't fall asleep until midnight the earliest. So, I am sure I can be a morning person, but then I need to fall asleep earlier;=)

In a way, I prefer to wake up early and go to bed early, then I get the most out of the day and also the best sleep in the night, so this week I´ll try and change over to this rhythm instead. Let´s see if my body wants to agree on that!
