Getting back...

...into my running form again. Started to do power walks with some running 3 days ago and the rib still hurts but I am sure it will get better. My core muscles are a bit weaker now after 7 weeks of resting so I need do get back in shape in a slow pace and still I do have an ambition of being able to join a race in my city in may. I will do the shorter track, 5 km, if I am back in shape. I have longed to do the 10 km but with the accident I need to make my goal a little bit easier.

I hope I have time to make it and now I´ve done the power walk with running intervalls 3 days in a row and I feel I get stronger day by day.

  1. Anette, you have an iPhone correct? I know of a brilliant running app called couch to 5k! it's very encouraging it sets up a daily plan of how long you should run and walk, and you can even play your own music whilst you're running. I would strongly reccomend it!

  6. Hello Anette.

Honestly I doubt can I run 5 kilometers.
    Maybe 2...
Running is making heart and lungs stronger, what means also that it's easier to take a breath during singing.
    Nice to hear you Anette.
I am worring about situation in Libya. Military forces of Libyan opposition (depsite NATO air forces support) are loosing.
We have already about 10 000 killed and 50 000 wounded people (80% of this were/are civils).
I don't know what we will do now. I don't know what to do.

  7. Hi Anette!:)
I'm liliana from Italy, and of course your fan, because i admire your skills as a singer, but especially you're such an "open" person, good and beautiful (both inside and outside)
Well, I’m sorry that I'm not now discussing about this topic, but I know that you're an animals friend, you love them, as many (thanks God) in our world do this.
Therefore in few words i want to show you something that in this world still happens: Please watch the following and post your say about cruelty in Asian territories on moonbears:

Thank you so much for the attention... have a wonderful day!

  10. Hi Anette,
That's good news to hear, recovery enough to get back into the exercising. Take care and please don't over do it, cause there's no sense in undoing the repair that your body has done thus far. Have had the personal experience of doing just that to myself...stupid me.

Best of luck with the racing! GO! GO! GO! ANETTE! GO! GO! GO!
    lots of love,
    Gary

  11. Even 5 km is very respectful goal in your case, so don't worry about the 10 km. If I were you I wouldn't participate to the race at all (I'm lazy-ish :D).
Take it nice and slowly! I hope the rib will be soon completely healed! :)

  12. Hi Anette :)

The best of luck to you! It seems like a tough goal, but I think you can do it! :)
Happy to hear that you're getting better, even if it is slowly.
You're actually a great role model you know. You've motivated me with these posts, so I ordered an elliptical machine hehe. Time to get in shape for the summer.. So thank you for being such an amazing example (don't really like the word 'example' but I can't think of any other) :)

    Take care, and good luck!
