Before I say good night...

...I have to show you this blog I got from The lost seafarer. Such a wonderful blog and it shows us that just because we are getting older we still can shine, wear cool clothes and be HAPPY;=)

Sleep really well now and believe that we can do just anything if we just believe it!

Leopard

Here´s my outfit for today.
I love leopard and will be one of those old ladies wearing leopard every day;=) But this blue leopard blouse is really modern and to make it a bit more "fun" I did a knot in the front instead of just having it hang down straight.

Same top as yesterday underneath and same leggings in velvet

A leather hair band keeps my hair in place;=)
My old and favourite boots as usual on;=)

Packing up...

...the winter clothes today. In need of warmer sweaters since the temperature is dropping and every season i store summer versus winter clothes in our storage and then I open them up when its time;=) Good way of not having to buy so much clothes and its also fun to reinvent clothes I had forgotten I own.

I also have a couple of times per year when I  go through my closet and sort things out that I for different reasons, no longer are using. The nicer and a bit more pricy clothes are sold through a luxury second hand store here in my city and the rest is given away to my friends and family or if no one wants it, given to charity.

When it comes to my children's clothes I store them and keep them for coming children, my own or someone else's;=)

Do you store your summer/winter clothes like this and what do you do with your used clothes? Do you buy a lot of second hand clothes or only new clothes?

When me and mum was in Copenhagen last week I bought clothes for Nemo from a luxury second hand store and when Seth was younger I always bought clothes from Ebay. Kids clothes, especially baby clothes, are normally just used a couple of times so therefore a good bargain=)

Another tragic bullying story that ended so sadly...

...is this story from Ireland about a 13 year young girl, Erin Gallagher, who took her own life on saturday evening after being bullied. So sad, so sad to hear;=(

Here´s the story from Belfast Telegraph:

A 13-year-old girl found dead at her home had told those who were bullying her online that she would kill herself.
Erin Gallagher, from Ballybofey, Co Donegal, was found by relatives on Saturday night. Only 24 hours earlier, she had warned her tormentors that she would take her life.
Gardai have begun an investigation into the tragic schoolgirl's death.
Relatives were too upset to talk last night, but Erin's elder sister, Shannon, left a heart-breaking message on a Facebook tribute page saying: "No one deserved what you went through."
Erin's death comes just six weeks after Ciara Pugsley (15) took her own life in Dromahair, Co Leitrim, after being bombarded with hate messages on the ask.fm social networking site.
Ciara's father, Jonathan, told the Irish Independent last night that he was "completely devastated" that another teenager had taken her own life.
Erin had also been using the ask.fm site.
In a post on Friday, the day before she died, she responded to a comment which appears to refer to her being the victim of a physical attack in which she'd had her hair pulled.
She wrote back to her anonymous tormentors: "Do u think ur funny bulling me over ask.fm yeah u prob think it was funny when a f**in put a rope round my neck cause of yous, yous are that sad!
"Leave it now u had ur f**in fun get over it! My hair wasnt all over the ground trust me plus stop going round saying a got a bald patch I had or have no bald patch!"
Erin, who lived with her mother, Laura, and elder sister, Shannon, on the Silverwood estate in Ballybofey, took her own life 24 hours later.
She was a second-year pupil at Finn Valley College in Stranorlar, a mile from her home.
Devastated principal Frank Dooley told the Irish Independent: "The pupils and the staff at the school are very upset at Erin's untimely death and we want to pass on our deepest sympathies to her family.
"We are putting procedures in place to deal with this tragedy.
"Erin was a lovely girl, a very good pupil, who was very mannerly and pleasant in the classroom.
"I would appeal to parents to caution their children about comments they may make on the internet."
In her Facebook tribute, Shannon Gallagher wrote: "I love you darling. It's so hard to say you're gone. Everyone's heartbroken. I couldn't have asked for a better sister. You were a stunning girl. No one deserved what you went through.
"I'm sorry that I couldn't prevent it. Love you with all my heart."
Niall Mulrine, an IT expert who lives in Ballybofey and who gives anti-cyber bullying classes to pupils, parents and teachers, said Erin's death had left the community stunned.
"There has understandably been a huge outpouring of grief online following Erin's death," he said.
"It's unfair that any mother should lose a child of 13 to suicide. The communities in Ballybofey and Stranorlar are devastated.
"I know this is a completely separate issue from what has happened to Erin, but the sad reality is that children aged six or seven are now on Facebook and their parents think it is okay. It isn't."
Ask.fm is a website where messages can be posted anonymously.
Sean Purcell, the CEO of the Donegal Vocational Education Committee, said: "Our thoughts and prayers are with Erin's family and the pupils and staff at Finn Valley College.
"This is obviously a hugely difficult time for everyone concerned. I have been made aware of the situation and I have been in touch with the principal and the necessary steps will be put in place to support all concerned."
A garda spokesman said: "Erin's body has been removed to Letterkenny Hospital for post-mortem examination as instructed by the coroner.
After Ciara Pugsley's death, ask.fm founder Mark Terebin told RTE: "We do understand the gravity of the situation and I sympathise with Ciara Pugsley's family.
"Of course there is a problem with cyber bullying in social media.
"But, as far as we can see, we only have this situation in Ireland and the UK most of all, trust me.
"There are no complaints regarding cyber bullying from parents, children or other sources in other countries.
"It seems like children are more cruel in these countries (Ireland and the UK)."

Today I am wearing red to lighten up the grey weather outside. Totally grey, rainy and windy autumn weather so best to stay inside.

Red lace top from Zara, black top underneath from Noa Noa and velvet leggings from Gina tricot.
Bracelet is gold with a nice panther on it from Topshop and the necklace is old and I dont know the brand but got it from Zebra, a store here in Helsingborg;=)

Outfrozen and alone at work

Hi all,

Today I want to talk about bullying again and today I want to focus on bullying in the work place and among adults since I think this is as big of a problem as bullying among children.

I found this article from a tv series in Sweden some years ago and I thought it´s so sad to read and see that its so many suffering from this and just some weeks ago a 53 year old man took his life here in Sweden due to bullying in his work place. Sad and as we can see, its not only a problem in schools and among kids.

I´ve translated the text freely and the origin can be found here: http://www.svt.se/2.8402/1.128544/utfryst_och_ensam_pa_jobbet_020108

Outfrozen and alone at work

Only during year 2000 1120 cases were reported where people felt they were subjects of bullying or harassments in their working place. In five years time these reports have tripled. The evidence demands in the legislation make it almost impossible to get the damages approved by Försäkringskassan (our health service). Uppdrag Granskning have met two men who in different ways have felt violated at their jobs and due to this their lives have changed totally.

During five years as a HR consult at Landstingshälsan in Hudiksvall, Oscar Frieberg did working related environmental investigations and taught managers about the environmental legislations in working places. During a development talk Oscar had with his own manager, Oscar suggested they should do something to improve their own working environment in their common working place.
He experienced that he had a pressured working situation. The secretary at their work place felt bullied since she had gotten in -between when their manager had forbidden her to tell Oscar where their manager was. instead, the manager started the operation "take away Oscar" instead.
During six years Oscar Frieberg tried to get back to the labour market. His friends disappeared around him and he went into a depression and got shingles. In january this year Oscar also got to know that Försäkringskassan, after their investigation had decided to decline him his annuity.Only the person who has gotten their working injury approved by the law is in titled to get annuity and by that the right of having the same salary as before you got injured or hurt.
From the union he didn´t get any support, He had to prove by himself that he had been harassed. Through more or less a detectives work, he traced the managers order of an advertisement brochure for Landstingshälsan, where every single coworker were in the picture, except for Oscar. This is just some of the events that Oscar Frieberg had to point at so he finally could get the events approved as a working injury.
All studies seem to have stopped when it comes to bullying in our working places. There´s no statistics from either scientists, government or judicial organizations that shows how many, after offensive treatment, are able to get their working injuries approved. According to LO-TCOs (unions in Sweden) legal protection, who runs most of the errands, only a few people succeed every year. The highest law instance has since 1993 only taken two cases up for trial. Both were refused.
In Uppdrag Gransknings report (the tv-show) you will also meet Per-Johan. Today he walks around with a walking frame after a suicide attempt. He threw himself from the fifth floor in the house where he lives together with his girlfriend. Per-Johan had lost faith in life after being harassed during a longer period at the car company he worked in.
His boss had, among other things, threatened him with a shot-gun in front of his co-workers because he didn't do his job "the right way" and wasn't fast enough. Per-Johan also had to drive the other co-workers to McDonalds during lunch time so they could eat. But Per-Johan had to sit and wait in the car while the others ate.
Per-Johans girlfriend noticed during a long time that his mood changed. He easily got irritated and in the end he often got aggressive right to the day when it got so far that he tried to end his life.
Per-Johan survived the fall at this suicide attempt and are today looking more lightly at life, but still he can't work.

Grey and new bag

So, today we´re hanging at home all 4 of us, taking it easy. Some days thats the nicest thing to do and I am cleaning, washing clothes and doing those everyday things. Weather is quite nice outside but cold, 4 degrees so better to stay inside;=)

Since I promised to show you my new bag I got yesterday I took some outfit photos with it and some close ups on both the bag and the hair do I did today;=)

I´ve braided my hair with an outbaked braid done from one side to the other.

I´m wearing the new grey basic top I bought at Cos today and this is in cotton and perfect to wear as it is or underneath a shortsleeve or a dress now when its colder outside.
This is the new little bag;=) Its a 3-in-one bag and very good for city walks and so on but also as a party bag.
Here´s when its having the long crossover leather thong on
Then there´s also a gold chain if you want to hang it on your shoulder and wear as a small party bag
Or you just use it as a clutch and hold it in your hand.

I think its so good and the size is perfect for a wallet, cell phone, lipstick and powder;=)

So we have a very talented..

Disney things;=)

Hi all,
Back home and me and mum had the nicest day in lovely Copenhagen;=) We met so many nice people, from a really nice guy in the train who was going to Christiania, to the nice manager of the beautiful Louis Vuitton store, sweet people on the streets who all were in a happy friday mode and on their way to different weekend activities;=)

We checked lots of stores, both clothes stores and decoration stores and I must say I would love to buy all the x-mas things everywhere cause it´s so nice when all glitters and all the candles are lit. So I had to buy my first x-mas Disney thing today in the Disney store;=) These wonderfully cute x-mas tree decorations:

So cute and now I long until x-mas to put these up in our x-mas tree;=)
Nemo was upset though cause he thought I bought him little balls to play with and took one, tossed it on the floor and when I said: no, no - its not toys...he thought I was the meanest mum there is;=)

Luckily I did get him a new little car so I guess I was forgiven again...;=)

It was mum´s day when it came to clothes shopping and it was so fun that she found great stuff to fill the closet with for autumn;=)
I got a grey long-sleeved top from Cos and a pair of merino wool stockings from Wolford. Other than that a pair of jeans and a cardigan for Nemo and yes, I did get myself a nice Louis Vuitton bag;=) A small cross over that I´ve wanted and I´ll take a photo for you tomorrow when its daylight.

We got champagne and small entree´s at Louis Vuitton and we also could see one of the people who make the handbags talking about the leather, how they make everything by hand and so on and its was really interesting. The store is much nicer and bigger now, with 2 floors. More bags, more shoes and also more stuff for men. The new store is located in Amagertorv if you are in town and want to visit it;=)

So a really nice mum-daughters day and we had good weather, good company, good food and found good things to bring home. Now time to celebrate friday with my kids and Johan so see you all tomorrow when I´ll answer your comments.

Sleep well and sweet dreams!
