Hello Anette :)
ReplyDeleteMuffins are the only things I can manage to bake without destroying the kitchen. Gotta try out that receipt because the muffins are looking really tasty and I love Toblerone.
Hope you have a nice evening!
Greetings and hugs from Germany
Sarah
Ahhh, thanks for the recipe! They look so yummy. When I have some spare time I always end up baking muffins, because they're just delicious, and they're very easy/fast do make!
ReplyDeleteDoes Nemo like to put, like, sugar or other things on them?because when I bake them, and my brother helps me,he always wants to add the chocolate/sugar decorations. We have found some great colouring for food,so we do them rainbow-like,too,and that's something he loves.I just add the colour while mixing the other ingredient together, and it doesn't alter the taste.
Maybe Nemo could like that,too!
have a nice evening!
xx
Hello again Anette!
ReplyDeleteI know what I'm gonna say doesn't have to do much with muffins and sweets and not even bullying, but I would really appreciate it if you would read what I am about to link you and maybe share it as well, so a larger amount of people can see it ;)
Basically, this is about a petition in which a metal band from Israel, called Orphaned Land (I dont know if you have listened to them or met them) is nominated to be taken in consideration for the Nobel Peace Prize next year. The band, in short, is known for its activity as a peace-maker between the jewish and the muslim world. They have been awarded several prizes by muslim countries for their attempts of building friendship and tolerance between these two civilizations. I think it is really a wonderful wonderful thing of them to do, because most bands nowadays are in it just for the money or for doing pretty much "shallow" or kind of personal music. Whereas they try to bring up themes common to the two cultures, their common roots and how they should forget the historical clashes between them and forgive and support each other.
Here's the link to the petition: http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/nominate-orphaned-land-for-the-2013-nobel-peace-prize.html
And here's more detailed info about the band:

Sorry for such a long rant and thanks for reading! =)
They look delicious!! I will try that recipe... because I've never made muffins before... but, yes, I baked before... :D
ReplyDeleteIt seems very good !
ReplyDeleteWell done Nettie(I guessed it right=). That is also good for the mood. Thanks for the recipe and enjoy your evening with your chef and the two waiters;=)
ReplyDeletePoochie
I'm sure Seth and Johan will love them very much! :-) looks really tasty..yummie :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a good evening!
They look delicious! Next month I'm going to do some baking for my boyfriend because it's our 'anniversary' and I can't afford to buy him anything, I'll definitely consider making these!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the recepie! I will have fun baking these ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe. Do you have other recipes you'd like to share? It would be very nice to try them too. Cooking and baking on one's own can be a wonderful experience because usually the difference between a cake/lasagne/etc bought from a store and a home-made one is so huge with the home-made one being so much better. Plus they're always fresh and free of all kinds of additives plus the fun of experimenting with the ingredients is awesome...
ReplyDeleteWow ! they look so delicious !
ReplyDeleteI wanna eat them ! :p
Toblerone muffins!!?? How do you eat those and manage to keep your figure? Admit it you carry an exercise bike around in your purse don't you? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love baking as well, it's a passion of mine. Today I baked a banana custard meringue pie (which was my own recipe). Also, have you ever watched the Great British Bakeoff? Its a baking competition for amateur bakers, you can watch it on BBC iPlayer.
Take caaarrree! James x
Oh my goodness, they look amazing! So nice to hear that your whole family enjoyed them. Thank you for the recipe, I'm going to try it sometime!
ReplyDeleteI'm not the greatest cook, but I think I can manage making and baking these muffins (I think !). Thank for the recipe Anette, and please let us know how your lovely family enjoyed them please!
ReplyDeleteLove to you all
Linda

ReplyDeleteHugs from Italy,
Claudia^
You have posted a recipe for a dessert that looks very good, then, let me make another recipe ^ ^ (It's 'an Italian recipe...).
ReplyDeleteIngredients for 4 people
500 grams of chestnut flour
750 g of water
150 grams of extra virgin olive oil
80 grams of raisins
60 grams of pine nuts
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
1 tablespoon rosemary
5 walnuts (optional)
salt
How to prepare
Before starting work, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put the raisins to soak in a glass of warm water. Sift the chestnut flour with care to avoid the formation of lumps and then pour rain in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt, oil (keep aside two tablespoons of the recommended dose, because you will need at the end) and water. Pour it slowly and gradually. Started to mix with a whisk. Continue to work without haste until you have obtained a batter "smooth" and the right consistency (notice it because the dough should be soft, free of lumps and imperfections). Add the raisins squeezed.
Are you ready to stretch the dough into the pan. The secret to a good chestnut is right in the pan (ideal if tinned copper). Rivestitela with parchment paper, and must be large enough so that the dough will spread not to exceed one centimeter in height.
Sprinkle with pine nuts, rosemary and fennel seeds. If you follow the "Tuscan variant" also add the walnuts and drizzle with the oil that you have kept aside. Put in oven and bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
*Hugs* ^^
Oh, wow. Toblerone muffins... heavenly!
ReplyDeleteJust a question, tho'... and it might be kinda silly, but... when do you add the Toblerone bits? I'm guessing you drop them in the batter before putting them in the oven, but... well, I don't wanna mess up, so that's why I'm asking ^_^;
Thanks for sharing!
Speaking of sharing, this is a website I like a lot:
