Before I say good night...

...I have to show you this blog I got from The lost seafarer. Such a wonderful blog and it shows us that just because we are getting older we still can shine, wear cool clothes and be HAPPY;=)

Sleep really well now and believe that we can do just anything if we just believe it!

  5. Wow, that's so wonderful!!
For sure, there is not a defined time to shine. Every single time is THE TIME! While there's life, there's light. And it must get brighter and brighter. A little surprise box, a giant battlefield, day after day our life surprises us. So, if someone passed for all of it, why not "celebrate"? It's not because you're getting old you must wear sad, boring clothes.. Getting old is another reason to wear better, live better, do whatever you want to, because you have done enough already -- now it's your time!

I don't see such a thing here, and I think it's really -- and unfortunately -- uncommon. But, why? Really, this woman should be an example for many others. Actually I know many people who got old, and now are just waiting for death, living as if there were no reason to shine anymore.. I'll try to share this with them. They must realize that there IS still life, that there IS still days, that there IS still reasons to be happy.

Thanks for posting this. It really made me happy =D

Have a wonderful night and sweet dreams, dear Nettie!

    Love,

    André.

  7. Hi Anette! I just wanted to say Hi and that I love your blog! I also have a question that I hope you don't mind answering about singing. I am currently studying music and hoping to someday be a singer but I have a really hard time listening to myself sing on a recording. It's hard to really explain but I just feel very uncomfortable when I do so, even when others tell me it sounds good. It's as though all I can hear are my flaws and things I need to improve on. I was wondering: is this a common feeling when a singer listens to themselves sing, such as on a cd and such?

    Thanks!

  9. Good morning dear Anette,

thanks so much for sharing this great blog with all the other blog readers!
Those ladies seem to have so much energy and joy of living and I find their attitude towards life and getting older to be a huge inspiration for all of us to always stay on the positive side of life, take good care of ourselves and just be happy. ;=)

    Have a great day!
    Hugs, Sabine

  11. Sabine; Hi and of course I share this wonderful blog;=) Really great that there are blogs for everyone out there;=)

Elize: Hi! What do you mean? That was an old interview I guess from before Imaginaerum and yes, i didn't want to leave NW. Enjoy the day!

KD: Hi and great that you are a singer;=) And yes, I can´t speak for every singer out there, but for me I have learned to listen to myself now, but its still hard at times to see or hear myself in videos or recordings. I guess the more I have been accepting how I sound, the less I sit and grin my teeth over youtube videos;=) So all I can say, accept how you sound and if there´s something that really bothers you, work with that flaw more. Practise to get that thing away from the voice, but also accept that your voice sounds in a certain way and thats your voice and what make you so special;=)

Karoline; Hi and thanks to YOU for supporting me;=) And yeah, 40 years from now - leopards club!!;=)

André: I agree with you and I actually think I will like being older. I think if we accept that we are aging without all the time just seeing the wrinkles and pains as something negative and not complain about it, but live every single minute in this beautiful world, then life will be much lighter and easier;=) My grandfather who lived until he was 92 years old always said: Live life lightly;=) And he was so right! If we start to feel like victims of our destiny, being all negative and only seeing the bad things instead of all the good things, life will just be a struggle. Of course its easy to say this and harder to do it, but I will for sure try my best to live life lightly;=)

    Chrisito: Hi and thanks=)

    Isa: Hi and thanks;=)

DarkQueen; Hi! No, I have never met her but I hope I will some day;=)

    Brianna; Hi! Do that;=)

    2. Oh yes, your grandfather was totally right. I bet he was really happy, and I really wish to reach this age! =D
Yeah,, watching the wrinkles appear must be something truly bad, terrifying for some people.. But personaly I think it's not bad -- actually I think it's good. The wrinkles are like some kind of "trophy", a merit that shows to everybody you are an experient person, who passed through too much things, who survived and are still alive -- and happy!
Well, I think getting old won't be something so terriffying.. And I really wish to get there still happy, with the shine lights still turned on! =D

  12. Ah, okay, thanks for explaining. :) I found it today, and after the split, I was kinda confused. Well, it's a good thing that it went better than with Tarja... although... the fanbase is kinda f*cked up.
    Tarja left: Tarja-Anette fights.
    Anette left: Tarja-Anette-Floor fights... hahaha
    They're hopeless... but awesome. ;)

    1. Yeah, true. But most of them are friends of mine... (ahum, Sabine, Maria, Victoria) too bad they all live far away... sigh... haha. We're going to meet on Mars, (that was the outcome of a conversation me and Maria had) hahaha
