Yesterday evening we finally entered the NW camp which nowadays only includes Tuomas, Tero and the three of us. This week we´ll do the vocal recordings of the demo and today we have taken it easy. I have just practised the songs by myself, resting after the long trip and now this evening everyone is sitting here chilling. Playing games, surfing the net and watching TV. Easy and relaxed;=)
Tomorrow morning we start with the first song and it has lots of lyrics so let´s see if I get it together nicely;=)

Oh my gosh, Anette, my grandpa passed
away and I can assure you I am not
in the best of moods. So, your
posting definitely cheered me up a bit.
He had a stroke a year ago and then
got Alzheimer's, and has been in a
retirement home since it was too much for
my grandma to take care of him.
Well, his birthday was Saturday, so we
all visited. My grandma has an amazing voice,
and she sang a favorite family song to him;
even with his Alzheimer's we swore he recognized the song! Then, on Sunday we
heard he passed away that night...
I have the viewing tomorrow and the
funeral on Thursday. So, it's been a pretty
tough week so far...
But I know sometimes death is almost
a good thing, since the person
is suffering in their life...is it bad
to think of it that way...???
Well, I hope you enjoy relaxing, and have
a good time getting back to work;=)

@Katie I'm so sorry for your loss. Alzheimer's is to me an awful mental disease and the worst part of it is that the person who has it knows that he/she is starting to forget and can't do nothing about it. I'm so so sorry and I'll pray for him...but I'll say the rest in your blog :)

@Katie: I'm sorry for your loss. My grandma has Alzheimer's and she knows she's forgetting and sometimes she says she doesn't want to live like that anymore. It's hard to hear such a thing, but when you think of it sometimes love is letting go. It's definitely not a bad thing to think of it that way... Lot's of strength for the next days! (or how does english say it)

@Katie. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how hard it is to lose grandparents; I have lost mine in the past couple of years and it's really not a pleasant time. It really isn't bad to think of death as a good thing, because in certain situations it is probably for the best as there is nothing worse seeing someone you love struggle or suffer. Remember, we are all here to support you and cheer you up if you want, just remember that, =). Chin up and take care, I wish you all the best.
