This weekend we have a little cat visit at home. My mums little birma cat Signe is living here for 4 days when they are on vacation in Denmark. Our cats are behaving really good towards her and since she usually is alone she is happy having some friends to play with:=) I guess mum needs to get another little birma cat so she can have some company. Being indoor cats, I believe it is more necessary to have a playmate than if they are outdoor cats. So let´s see if mum takes another one;=)

Few years ago, I had a cat, she was about one year old... And I brought another cat to home, just because I wanted to have more than one cat. Small cat was a male. So I thought there will be no problem with my "old" cat and the new one... I was wrong :( Now my old cat is living near me, but in my negihbors' house... The old cat was trying to kill the little kitten every time she saw it :( And after few weeks she moved into stragners' house. So I won't try to bring a new cat, just because I'm scared that another cat will run away :(

My mum and me both want a Maine Coon.
I mean, we just got rid of my cat,
and we have 6 dogs(puppies), so we

Stjärnan is really looking like a queen.
And the 2 birmas are so amazing. I love how pretty they are. When I will move into my first appartment in a few years I will buy a birma and a ragdoll. And of course I have already names: Ginger and Amber.. Mayvbe I'll change Ginger into another name.. but we will see :=)

He isn't an indoor pedigree like your cats but he used to have a friend to play out with called Tom. Maybe if you persuade your mother to buy a new cat you could do the same with mine:P Dyl's been going crazy since Tom moved, cat destruction at its best.

Aaah, they're so sweet!! I'm a cat lover myself, so there immediately appears a wish to stroke those fury creatures=)))) Birmas are so amazing, and the grey fellow too))) My one is half-persian and half I don't know what, he's about 15 now! My mom took him home from the frozen street one hard winter, he was so thin and sick, and hardly have some fur. I hadn't even noticed him sleeping on the rug in the box, because he was the same pattern and really skinny. For the first days he even used to eat potato peels! And thank you for answering the private baby questions. I think that it is a good way that you keep it secret with the sex of the baby, because maybe some people would behave a bit bad..example: Ohh, I wished that it would be a girl, but now its a boy, thats so silly, etc.. you know what I mean. So, its very good, that you keep it secret but I still hope, that you will say it to us someday, when the baby is born. So and its also nice, that you feel good with your belly and that you accept it that its a small belly, because my friend is also in the 7/8 month I think and her belly is so big that I'm sometimes thinking that she's in the 10th now ;=) And she cant move around (clean the appartment or have a walk.. so its very hard and exhausting.
So, nice to hear that you have not the same problem now.

Very cute cats. :) Birman cats always look so graceful and "royal", even when they are just lying around. Stjärnan looks good too, of course. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe name Signe brought some nice memories to my mind...A distant Swedish relative of mine is also named Signe, and when I was a child she and her family used to visit here a couple of times. It was great, even though at that time we couldn´t talk with each others very much; I hadn´t studied Swedish yet and most of them only knew a few words of Finnish...but that didn´t matter. It´s amazing how well you can get along with just gestures and facial expressions. :D
Anyway, I hadn´t thought about them at all in a loooong time because it was so many years ago since I saw them last time. But apparently I needed just one name to bring the good memories back.

Hi Anette, I wanted to thank you for those beautiful cat photos. :) It's wonderful that they are good friends and nice to each other. We got a dog number three in our family, it was very sad actually cause my bf's father suddenly passed away... :( So we take care of his old dog now. Luckily my dogs like her a lot and as my older dog (a bitch) has gotten older, they don't fight anymore. :) And my other dog is only a clown who wants to play with everyone, he's never angry.
