...today, since I will go to Copenhagen...I am quite tired but I can rest on the train;=)
Its raining outside so not so good weather but like Linda said yesterday: it doesnt rain in the stores and she is right. I can sit and drink coffee and read my book if it falls down to much rain;=)

Wow, so you can take a train straight to Copenhagen -- that's cool! Is there a bridge or a tunnel between Sweden and Denmark then? (yes, I suck in geography -- can barely find Turku and Tampere on the map :p :p)

Those black highlights look very effective with those glasses! ;) Heheh... actually you look very much like my workmate with that hair and glasses -- you also have quite similar facial features and are about the same height so if you ever get sick and tired for the PR jobs for the band, she could cover up for you ;) ;)
Heh, I've also seen many guys who look so much like Tuomas that it's almost creepy... :p I always think that hmm... has that guy adopted that style because a famous musician looks like that too or is it really unintentional... :p Oh, and talking about Tuomas -- if you're in contact, wish him a great time in Australia! ;) Six weeks on the other side of the world -- sounds like a dream ^__^ (and something I could do myself after I get this wretched D.Sc thesis finished... :p) 'Tis a pity he doesn't dig computers as much as you -- a travel blog from down under would be neat :) (though of course, knowing the Finnish tabloids... it'd probably ruin this planned "media silence"... :p)
Oh, and here's a funny little anecdote from Berlin: first of all, I have an annoyingly long and sharp memory for scents -- for example, I may notice someone's perfume and after a while, realize it's the same my ex-boyfriend or something from years ago used to wear :p So, I went to this erotic store in Berlin (yes yes, just for curiosity :p) and noticed that good grief, _what_ is this scent and where I have smelled it before? After a while I realized that whoa, this smells the same than your tour bus in the States in May *laughs* Why I remember? -- because I slept that one night on the sofa in the front of the bus right under some air freshener thingy and that scent was all over in my clothes the next morning :D "Dark vanilla" scented candles -- had to buy one as a souvenir just because this memory gave me the giggles and now my whole apt smells like your tour bus :D :D
(Ok, maybe private stuff again... ;) *laughs*)

ReplyDeleteI just saw a movie called Paranormal activity. It was so creepy. it only took around 11,000 US dollars to make. its filmed like the blair witch project was only it is tons better. Its funny and so so so creepy at the same time. They only released it in certain theatres i think at this time its only in the US but its really good. ReplyDeleteWhen I woke up it was so dark outside and I thought it was 7 o'clock or something, but it was actually 10.30 and so gloomy and dark. This is why I hardly like autumn at all.

Seems that you like Copenhagen and perhaps some little shopping too,mmm...sounds nice. Some time I would like also to go there to seeing places,I have never actually be there,just went pass. Yeah well,there is many places on the world where I would like to go to see but travelling is also hard in a way so that´s not so easy always and there is of course some other things too.

Good day Anette...I was just thinking today about the long tour you took with the Nightwish and how hard it must have been for you. I really want to tell you what an inspiration you are to me and not just for the music.
ReplyDeleteI suppose in saying this, as I sit at my LP under duress of am ailing cold and in bed with nothing else to do but check out the internet, home sick for my own country ( I really want to go home!) It has made me think of you and what it must have been like for you on the road for so many months, years? away from your own family performing for some who were not so nice. I've been away from SA for 2 years with 1 more to go after his residency and it's killing me!
You are the only one who truly knows how hard it was for you and for us can only imagine, all in effort for us to see some really great music.
Thank you Anette for pulling out all the reserved strength you probably never knew you had, dedication, sacrifice, perseverence, sparkling smile and above all else determination you held on to sticking with the band.
I hope Tuomas thinks of this when he composes the next album and adds a huge dedication to you in the coverlet because you deserve it. Well, the whole band does… my husband says it’s hard putting up with women too!
Good Luck with the next round and hope to see you along with the guys in South Africa next tour maybe...bye!
