  2. Cats are so lovely. I would love to have one, but we have two dogs and one is very iffy with other animals. So we can't have cats here.
    But I love dogs anyway.

Good luck with the choice =)
I am sure any of them your son choose will be a great choice. Both cats, birma and norwegian, are soo cute.

    Have a nice day!

  5. Good luck with the new cat =) I'm not the best person to advise about cat breeds, because to be honest, I do not understand almost nothing about cats. I understand more than dogs (because I have four. Hehehe) ...So,if you ever need any advice on breeds of dogs, can count with my help ;-)
But I'm sure you will choose the perfect cat breed for your son. Good luck in the choice =)
    All the best to you,
    Hugs from Brazil =)

  14. :-)

  15. hi there!! oh, is so good your son wants a cat, they are indeed cute, it will be a good experience for him.

About the cat's temper no matter what race, you can make a simple test to see the cat's personality, this works better if the cat is still a kitten: you only have to raise the kitty and watch how he/she acts, if she fights to get free or stays calm. usually that says much about the kitty. The other is more simply, you have to watch how the kitty behaves around other kitties, if he/she's the one playing fights or stands the other kitties games.

I hope that can help you to decide for the best cat for your son.
    Take care and good luck!!

  19. Hej Anette!

  20. Try this site, Anette...
    http://www.pocahontasgarden.com/

It's a site about Ragdolls in Sweden. I don't know which city you are close to but there is also a common site here that may help too.

They look to be beautiful cats and go limp when you carry them. LOL

Get me one of those too, ok? hahaha
How you're going to send it to brazil, I have no idea.. but I want one too!! heheh

And please.. once you get it, give us pictures, okay?

Now.. I have to tell you.. I went to the mall after work today to get a couple of jeans from Zara and then, I had a salad for lunch and.. Oh my.. It was superb!! It's from a restaurant called Chef Verge and the salad had 3 types of lettace, strawberries, kiwi, mango, buffalo cheese and an orange sauce.. Oh my! It was incredible. The orange thing was a bit to sweet, but still.. It was great.

I ahve a picture if you'd like to see it. It was so pretty, I just had to take a picture hehe.

    Here's my salad!!

Well.. Good night now and good luck on the kitten's quest!! :)

    Krams!

  24. Oh, awesome, your cat-family is growing bigger and bigger! =)
I think Norwegian forest cats are totally sweet and lovely, although they might get a little furry if not taken care of, and same goes for turkish Angora cats, which can really get out of hand sometimes, my friend has one, and she looks absolutely massive when he doesn't get her trimmed, hehe.
Here are some pictures of an Angora:

    http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3237/3052194307_78cebe9d86_o.jpg

    I find them unbelievably beautiful.

Anyhow, it's up to your son, once he gets a cat, he has to really like her and take care of her.
I'm a bit surprised though, that your son wants a cat. Usually guys like dogs more, 'cause they can run and play with them and walk them. Doesn't he like dogs?

Have a great day and I hope you find the perfect cat! :)

  26. Hey Nettie!
As I'm a big lover of different cats myself, all my knowledge is at your service, so here's my magical book by Dorothy Silkstone Richards - some facts from the article about ragdolls:

    Ragdoll

    Pluses:
    It is tender
    It is quiet
    It is playful
    It is clever
Goes well for the maintenance in apartment

    Difficulties:
    It is subject to traumas
It is tolerant to a pain

Ragdoll is a big and tender cat, it is quiet, obedient and devoted and absolutely depends from the owner. As ragdolls are probably tolerant to pain they need a lot of care and to be looked after. Ragdolls have one curious feature: when taken in the hands to be carried somewhere, they completely relax and hang like a doll.

    Fur care
Everyday comb out. The fur is very long and doesn't mat.

The body is big and massive, male ones - 6.8-9 kg, females - 4-4.5 kg.

To sum up, ragdoll is a perfect apartment cat;) And looks very-very lovely. So this is a good present for your son=) Just warn him that he'll have to take care of it completely himself!;)

Hope I helped you a bit,
    Kira)

  27. Dear Anette,

it's great that you will get a new kitty for your son!!!
I love norwegian forest cats ...my best friend has got one and I think they are so beautiful and special!!!(it's too bad that the cat does not like me at all:( )
Please show us pics of the new baby cat once you'll get it!

Today I've seen the movie The Orphan...and although it scared the hell out of me it was definetly worth the courage, because it was an interesting subject and the acting was very good!!! I recommend it to you, if you are in the mood for a horror- thriller movie!!!

    Have a nice evening!!!

    Love,
    Herta

  28. Sorry Anette...the first link didn`t produce results and opened email only and an ad site. I`m sorry. I thought it was cute as your mum`s cat is named Pocahontas.

Hopefully, the others work out good and you find your new adoptee.

  29. Awwwww <3 I wish you both luck on finding the perfect cat.

I'd just like to thank you :) I always used to see Ever Dream as a really desperate song and like very painful but your interpretation you bring such hope to it with singing, it just gives me a lot of hope and strength. Thank you Anette it has got me through a lot of hard times. The emotion and hope you can portray with your voice is amazing.

I cant wait to hear your album either.

Thank you Anette from the bottom of my heart.

    All my love and support.

*Ler*

    Kramar~
