Back at the hotel after a long day again. Today we worked really hard again and even if we all said we felt a bit more tired, the music still flowed. And I think its just fine to be a bit tired after just popping out music, lyrics and ideas all the days and nights.
In the studio there are some nice dogs too and today I was the playmate of this little precious one you can see in the collage. He wanted me to throw and he´d fetch over and over and over;=)
Today we just did some first recordings on two more songs and its just so we can go home and listen and make changes in lyrics etc. We also started working on 2 more ideas and I like the fact that we have done some different songs when it comes to tempo etc. In the end I want 10 or 11 songs and its good if we have at least 15-16 to choose from when that day comes.
Tomorrow is the last day for this session and next week my son has his school holiday so no studio for me then, but the week after I´ll be here 4 days again.
Now I ordered myself some room service and then I´ll try and rest and sleep a bit.

Ohhh!! That little fellow is so adorable!! I love dogs! All dogs.. Small, big, loud,quiet, breed, street.. all of them! hehehe Actually, when my Peggy was living here, she always got tired before me.. I think she should throw ME a toy hehe

Glad your recording is going well! I record once every other week & i have learnt that its so much different recording on a condenser mic than it is to singing live with a dynamic mic, i find it much easier to sing live with a band =)

Jag hoppas definitivt att jag får sömn snabbt, för det är en lång dag imorgon. Först matematikföreläsning i min skola (eller okej, universitet :P), sedan ska jag iväg till mitt gamla gymnasium och vara vikarie för en svenskalärare. Det blir säkert roligt! Sedan måste jag ännu tillbaks till uni för en räkneövning, och efter det har jag träff med min teatergrupp. Så mycket att göra, men mycket av det är ju roligt. Men bäst att jag far och sova då så att jag orkar imorgon. Sov gott! ^^

But I'm glad you're finding inspiration and the album creation is going well. Look at it this way- whatever songs you don't use, you have the chance to maybe do another album and use them then!

ReplyDeleteI'm going to bed now, but I'll read for a while 'cause I've bought today The Vampire Diaries: Awakening (the first book of the series, which it's being adapted to TV in a show called The Vampire Diaries too) and I want to read so badly. Oh! And I found one of the books of The House of the Night! But it was available just in English. If I can't find it in Spanish, I'll buy the English edition one.
