Poor baby

Hi all! I came back home yesterday evening and it's always so nice to be home again:-) My poor little Nemo got ill up in Stockholm with a really bad stomach flu and all we do is clean him up, wash clothes, sheets and towels:-( he got ill thursday and still not well at all, poor baby. But I hope he soon will feel better and be all happy again.

When I flew home yesterday I got myself a new book from a new Swedish author called Amanda Hellberg. It got me totally addicted and all I have done since then is read and read and now I'm almost done. It's a story about murder and ghosts from the past and so exciting!

  2. Awww... poor Nemo. Must be such a worry to be away from him. Hope he's better soon.

That book sounds good. I wish I had the time to read more but I've been so busy writing my own and getting it published. Now it's all promotion and I've hardly got any time to write, let alone read!

    Have a good day :)

  13. Poor Nemo :( But I hope everything will be okay. Last time I have read "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens. It's totally amazing! I love his style and the way he describes London in XIXc. Some people maybe say it's boring, but no way :> If you will get bored, just try to read it :) And I'd like to read the book you recommended, but I don't really know if it's available in Poland... Kisses, Marta!

  17. Hi again!

I hope your rehearsal trip to Helsinki was nice. :) I'm sorry to hear that Nemo is ill. :/ I hope he will get well soon.

By the way, I want to share these pictures with you. It's you, Jukka and my dear friends. They are taken in Tavastia 2007 after Tuska festival. I was two weeks too young and I couldn't participate. :( I have laughed at these pictures ever since they were taken and I want you to see these pictures too. Have fun! http://kripanticide.tumblr.com/post/15215142011/aaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  20. Hey Anette! So sorry Nemo is sick. Some articles say that coconut water is safe for babies. (I'd triple check the fact, though, if I were you to be absolutely sure.) It is a super hydrator and has loads of potassium and minerals. Here was one good article on the benefits:

  21. Anette, jag måste rekommendera en underbar Operah intervju med JK Rowling. Sitter och kollar på den nu =) Jag älskar den kvinnan, hon är så äkta, och hon är en fighter for imagination.

  23. Hello Anette, thank you for all the lovely photos from your Helsinki trip, it looked like you had a great time!

I'm sorry to hear Nemo is poorly, :(. I hope he is feeling much better soon. Stomach flu is always so horrible as there is nothing you can do to help it.

  24. Anette,

Poor Nemo! The nurse in me is kicking in here...Wash your hands each time you clean hin up to help prevent the spread of the flu. Is he keeping any fluids down? It's been two- three days now, so if he can't keep anything down he may need to go to the hospital. I'm sure you know this already, but sometimes moms just go and go and we don't think of big things like that. Please get a flu shot before you come to the US if you haven't already!!! I just love ya and want you to stay well....

  30. Hi Annette, I express my compassion for the sick Nemo. When my child was the same age as Nemo was infected with such a gastric infection, even to go to hospital - very uncomfortable. You're a wonderful mother, so I'm sure they take all necessary measures to recover faster. I wish a speedy recovery Nemo. And you and Johan to stay healthy, because sometimes in dedication to loved ones, forget about yourself.
With wishes for calmness and much health for all at home - Rositza

  31. Sorry to hear Nemo isnt well.

one the best books i have read recently was the English translation of the Swedish trilogy of Arn Magnusson: A Knights Templar by Jan Guillou - really well written and an interesting story presented over the 3 books.
