How can I know?

We are fixing some things at home and one thing is to find new doors for 3 of our rooms. They are all to worn and broken so we are on the lookout for some better ones. White inner doors they call "mirror doors".

So, I have been searching a site where people sell everything and after some search I find a guy who sells a lot of construction material and stuff after he has built a new house. Among the things are some inner doors, just like the ones we need.

After some nice corresponding over email and after him measuring the doors, they match and we are so happy;=)
So then I ask him:
- How much do you want for them both?
since I dont have any clue what to pay and all the doors in that site are cheap, like 20 euros to 30 euros.
He then answers me:
- Place a good bid!

I ask Johan and after again checking some similar doors in that site and their prices, I see that appr. 20 euros/door would be ok.
I write to him and say:
- What do you think about 20 euros/door?

I get the answer:
- Then I say no thanks! These are not those "cheap" doors you can find, but solid and good ones!!

Well, how the hell can I know? And if they are so good and special ones, it would be better to put a price on them so I know directly. I can pay more but if someone says - place a bid! and I dont know more than what I can see others take for the same thing, I of course place that bid.

I thereafter again wrote to him and said that if he please could say what he want and that I didnt know e g...
But I am quite sure he wont answer and I really cant understand some people selling stuff like this. When I sell things I put a price and if I dont want to sell underneath the price I have written I say that and say no thanks to the ones trying to put the price down. But if I ever would say: place a bid! and someone said a low one, I would for sure let that person know I wanted more and let him or her place a higher bid if they still are interested.

Damn, I really wanted those doors;=) But well, there will be others...hehe!
Sleep well!

  1. Good evening, Anette ;=)

So, as you told us this guy seems to be a baaad seller ! So, he don't need to sell his fu**ing doors to you. How could you know that? You don't need such an unfair behaviour, cause you are a friendly woman.

And I am sure that you will find some better doors, without any problems !

So, I will open my eyes here and there for some doors you could like ;=)

Have a nice night & don't feel disturbed of him !
    Hugs

  2. I agree with you, if he really wants to sell it, he better put a minimum price. Or a minimum price with bids, like ebay. Hell, he could have even said "That's too cheap, what what about X euros?"

I doubt he will sell it soon like that.

Haha. Den är fortfarande inte såld..

  5. Well , Basically stiffed doors are a little bit more expensive especially if they are a good kind of wood like Beech or Mahogany or even Sweden white wood , If it's that kind of wood or so well , a 30 euros for a used one will be a good deal , I'm saying that from a personal experiment plus I'm an arch so you had to put a higher price , Yet it seems that he doesn't wanna sell it or he's just wasting time or he want an "overrated" price !!
Well we got a quote over here says" Not all of your fingers look the same " , Good luck with finding similar doors Anette :) Greetings from Egypt \,,/

  7. Good night cute Anette ;)

Choose a door to a more reasonable price, cause the luxury door and the broad road lead to perdition and there are many who enter.
But a more modest door and narrow path lead to life and there are few who find it. No door shall prevent happiness to enter :-))

Sending you lots of love from France,
Have a beautiful night dear Anette ♥

    Big kisses & hugs

  11. Hi Anette! yuo did remember that a door not close in my house because enlarged I don`t know why: s jaj, you know, I wanted to take your pleasure to tell you by Gaga, makes me so happy that you like Lady Gaga!. I am a big fan of her, not only for its great music, but also by fighting hard for the rights of everyone, including mine, here in Argentina, is a proven law of gay marriage, I think that is what most I am proud of this country, that, although having financial problems, respect my rights and I feel equal to anyone. My question is you think about the union and respect for gay rights? I would love to receive as well answer these for being such a beautiful person as you are, I can consider these for:) hugs! ^ _ ^ sorry for my bad english xD Te quiero, bonita!

  12. I love it when people are like this, it's too obvious they want more money than they are worth.

I will now enjoy my weekend, after weeks of planning the last online live interview with Tuomas ended last night. We had 40 fans take part over 2 days. Tuomas was online for 4 hours answering questions. I put the transcripts of the site last night. Over 15 pages of questions. Wow

    Have a great weekend
    Hugs to the boys

  13. Hi dear Anette,

You know there are plenty of miserable guys who spend their time trying to rip us off: how many people have already found their gift and for sale on eBay two weeks after being offered? and rip-off is not just on the Internet!
To question as to what that person has in mind has no interest cause that person is poor / as poor as his life ^^
Leave it behind and move on to find what you are looking for with honest people, you'll recognize them.
When that fool will have no one to play with he will certainly get bored and there you can smile! :-)
You will find what you're looking for changing direction it's simple. So just do it! :)

    Have a very nice weekend
    Lots of love from France
    and best thoughts ♥

  14. Good evening Anette:)
I don't exactly understand the motives of the person selling the doors either from what I'm reading here. He is obviously not to well schooled in selling. Like you say "others there will be" and with that in mind you should continue to shop around...and maybe you will find something even better than for less money.
take care, and exercise smart shopping!
    lots of love,
    Gary

  16. Hi dear Anette,
    Hope you are well;=)
Something very important about Internet scams I wanted to tell you: Sometimes we can look for rare films to buy so we can't find them neither in the biggest shops like FNAC, Virgin, etc, nor on their web sites, nor on PriceMinister, etc. So mostly we are forced to visit large online video libraries and it's not that great! These web sites force us to register or we can't watch anything... and there we are forced to leave our references mail, credit card that "will not be charged" ^^ For real there are miles of conditions written in small and so tiring that we can never read everything. Finally, as we are always careful with our statements of account ;)... we discover one day that the debits are set up! Obviously no one ever warns us and if we were not very careful we could have been taken long before opposition!! This is the latest scam I just discovered ;)
Have a great and sunny day princess and take care!
Best thoughts to you, all family and friends :)
    Lots of Love
