The colours are a bit orange/copper in the forehead and then really cold red in the rest of the hair. The roots are in nature colour and we made the whole hair lighter before we coloured it. Then Amal cut appr. 2-3 cm on the whole hair;=)
Johans first comment when I came home: "You look like Pippi longstocking on crack"!
Haha, love it;=) I am like Pippi, so it suits me.

ReplyDeleteMy natural hair color is dark brown. Some time ago I had blonde hair (of course colored). I think it's easier to get a dark color when you have blond hair. In the past for me it was easy to get my hair black. Now I would like red hair but they are dark brown with black residue. I think it will be very difficult to get a similar color to red :( Anyway I hope that my hairdresser will be able to do my hair red or at least something similar :)
Btw you made a very good choise ;)

ReplyDeleteI died my waist lenght hair bright red a few weeks ago. It´s so funny, to notice people staring at me wherever I go (I don´t know, whether they´re shocked or envious ^^)
I´ve got extremely fair skin, so going red was the best decision I´ve ever made. Even my mum loves it.

ReplyDeleteLookin' just great in the photos. The colour appears be what I would call a burnt orange mixed with a rusty red. Could be wrong though, its hard to see any detail of with my Blackberry. Over all it looks gorgeous...I'll take a better look at it later with the desk top.

Your hair looks amazing Anette! The combination of colours are very complimentary for you and the cut is lovely and fresh. It is looking beautiful now your hair is getting longer again, =).
ReplyDeleteI want to know how you get that 'wild, volumised' look for your hair. I have been looking at the photos to study the cut and it looks like you have fine, subtle and slightly shorter layers cut on the top which do this? I really want my hair to have this edge but I don't know if it would work because my hair is long (half way down my back) currently without layers!

Jasmine: Good morning! My hair is cut in layers all over so that makes it easier to get it more volumized. Then to get it even more "up" I use a powder in the roots that lift the hair. You should try that. ReplyDeleteI have never heard of a powder for volumising hair. I have a blow-drying lotion which works well but in the end my roots flatten because my hair is long and heavy but this product sounds great. It works so well on your hair! I am definitely going to find a UK store and try it out, I may even go and have some layers cut in my hair =).
