Hi all and a very happy tuesday!
This week I prepare myself for next week when we continue our tour and I am so longing;=) We start in Gothenburg - SWEDEN!!! Oh, I just love it! My own country!!;=) And then Copenhagen, which is also my "home town" since its so close to Helsingborg where we live. And the best part is that these two gigs will be visited by my family members and friends. So, very special evenings;=)
To prepare myself I look at videos from this tour to see which stage outfits I like the most and want to use in Europe. Then I also check if I´m gonna add a new one and so on. There will be many of the same dresses from before since I love to wear dresses;=)
Then I also do more singing to get all the lyrics there. Even if I sing them often its a lot of lyrics to remember;=)
I also have to fix such "shallow" things as getting my nails done, my hair roots dyed and getting new things for the make-up bag like false eye lashes. I use a lot of lashes and they only last for 2-3 shows and then I need new ones.
Then I also need to see to that Nemo´s stuff and clothes are washed and ready for the long tour, since he and Johan are gonna be with us from Amsterdam and onward. Seth will join for Gothenburg and Copenhagen but since he has school he needs to stay in Sweden with his father.
So today I need to go to the dry cleaner to leave some dresses for cleaning and if my mum is home in the afternoon, me and the kids will visit her while Johan is working.
Here´s one of the outfits that I love and this will be going with me in Europe;=)

I love your vision of the concert in Paviljonki Areena, Jyväskylä(Finland). Wonderful dress, beautiful hair and makeup.
I think that long hair added you additional splendor. I love long hair.
But you always look so elegant and beautiful, as I'm sure that will make the best choice.

ReplyDeleteYou have many errands to do before the tour! You know, I don't care about those "shallow" things :) The only thing I care about in a gig is to hear your music and voice and see that you guys are having fun on the stage :)
I have wondered a looong time how I could describe you how I hear your voice. Now I know! I think your voice sounds like a stream of diamonds :) That's the first thing what comes into my mind when I hear you singing.
Anette, you look amazing! And you sing great! You definitely proved yourself for being the best female singer to fit in Nightwish! I'm glad they chose you! You deserve it!

I understand about the lyrics, Anette. I'm a singer too and the thing I find most difficult is remembering all the lyrics. It's happening more and more as I get older. Scary!

Wow, acoustic-Nemo is one of my favourite ever! I've never like it done in metal version either, so the acoustic one is just awesome! It always makes my fly into a dream, leading by your beautiful voice! And it was like embody wonder when I listened to it in Kiev. So, thanks for the song ;)

Dear Anette, can I make you a suggestion? Why don't you try to sing 'Feel For You'? I think it is an awesome and beautiful song, and since a time ago I've wished you to sing it. Could be great =) and I keep saying that the acoustic version of Nemo is just moving, and touch the soul fibers.

ReplyDeleteSince the beginning I trust your capacity to sing in Nightwish, the last album is a masterpiece and your voice have the same status for me. People doubted you were capable of singing Nightwish musics before Dark Passion Play, I never did it. You made the song even more romantic than before.
ReplyDeleteI'm brazilian and I know that you suffered in a show in one of brazilian cities, but please know that a lot of brazilian people loves you. I would love to see you singing with your wonderful and unique voice musics like Nemo and Wishmaster as you sing in this video.
I am from Porto Alegre, Brazil, far away from the city where that sad thing happened, Nightwish was already here in a tour years ago and I hope I have the chance to listen to you singing the Nightwish classics and Imaginaerum, to me the best Nightwish album ever made.

It's just that Nemo was the song that first introduced me to Nightwish and inspired me to study music; hearing it live in an acoustic arrangement was breathtaking and I kinda got lost in the moment.
