Wish I could understand what the judges were saying XP He has a great voice, though! For some reason, watching the first video it reminded me of some of the Russian singers that I used to listen to when I was a little kid. Not sure whether it was the music or his voice or what else but I'm having flashbacks now o.O hehe

I've never been that interested in Idols, because usually I don't like the songs they choose.. But WOOOOW... This guy's brilliant, seriously!!! First of all performing Run to the Hills on Idols is really cool, and then the way he performed it, with so much energy... Great performance

ReplyDeleteYes, he is very good. Great to see talent winning for a change as that's not usually the case on shows like this. It's the X Factor final tonight in the UK and I'm hoping the most talented singer wins, but I doubt it.

ReplyDeleteSjälv tittar jag inte på IDOL, men har hört att Erik ska ha varit riktigt bra. Hoppas du haft en trevlig Lucia morgon. Själv firar vi alltid på samma sätt varje år, frukost, ljus, lussekatter och pepparkakor framför TV:n. Årets TV Lucia var helt underbart, jag hoppas du såg det. Den nya staffansvisan var bara helt underbar.
Du har här skrivigt mycket om din vän som jobbar på en frisörsalong. Jag hade oturen att min gamla frisör som jag klippt mig hos de senaste fem åren inte får klippa mer. Eller inte just nu, det har att göra med att hon flyttat och en massa sådant strunt. Jag testade en ny frisör som jag brukade gå till när jag var liten men hon klippte av en decimeter av mitt hår… Bara sådär. När jag sa att hon skulle lite… Så jag undrar om du rekommenderar, eller så klart gör du det, men du fattar vad jag menar, din väns salong. Eftersom jag är i Helsingborg dagligen så spelar det ingen större roll om jag klipper mig här eller hemma i Lund…

Wow, he is really good! Well, let my show you my favourite from Hungary's Idol (this season), his name is István Tabáni, and he has a magnificent voice!!! The finals will be next Saturday, I hope he wins!!! He sang Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody at the casting and he immediately got accepted by the jury. :)

Den enda låt han sjöng bra under Idol var "Is it true". Resten är bara ett virrvarr av skrik.. Nä du, jag hade hellre sett Calle som vinnare. Eller Mariette, men hon kommer nog lyckas bra i alla fall.

My dad's suggested to me that I try out for American Idol, but meh, I wouldn't fair very well since my repitore doesn't include ABBA or Michael Jackson, and knowing me, I'd probably do Creek Mary's Blood or Wishmaster :P Of course, I'd also feel like a sell-out for performing on some commercial monstrosity like Idol...

ReplyDeleteI especially like the Iron Maiden classic 'Run to the Hills'. That was a brave song to take on .. He certainly has a good voice and is versatile . Good luck to Erik for sure. Unfortunately that just wouldn't happen in the UK version - The music and artists are so manufactured to a certain stle ..a real shame.
Hope your soon is not too upset with Liverpool losing (again) I said he should follow Leicester City - we won 3 - 0 !!!! hahahah..
