Today its been a day of this and that;=) First went to Lindas to bleach the hair even lighter. Then picked up my son who now has x-mas vacation for 2 weeks;=)

Went to IKEA and bought a new TV bench which made my bf curse while trying to put it together. He said: we´ll never buy IKEA again;=) And I agree with that. It may be cheap and nice things, but when putting the items together you usually cant put them together since all the supposed drill holes are not even drilled...screws and pieces are missing... the wood falls apart as you screw in it...so, even if I love IKEA for its low prices and also good things, the badside is the mounting of things. The amount of cursing words that came out of bf:s mouth were quite a lot...hihi!

Now we just came back from eating at a chinese restaurant which we love. Then coming back, we have this gate where you can either use a code to get in to our house or a key. Tonight the code didnt work and someone had broken off a key in the key lock so there we stood in the cold evening and couldnt get in to our home;=(
Luckily we have a restaurant downstairs who very kindly let us go through their door. I hope they can fix it tomorrow or many who lives here will have big difficulties getting in and out.
Me and my son are gonna watch a new movie we bought, called "The secret of Moonacre" which is directed from the same who made The Golden compass and Bridge to Tibethia. We loved both those movies so I hope we´ll like this too;=)
Hello dear Nettie! How are you?
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm....chinese food! Yummie!
That looks like a good movie. I love that kinds of movies , but I like horrors more =)
Have a nice evening
Love
Ena
Tja.
Even lighter? *-* I want to see your new hair-do! I know that probably there could be not so difference than before, but I'm curious! XD Please Anette, take some pictures as you have the time!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, enjoy the movie :D
Hugs
Seems to be a great movie, very good =)
ReplyDeleteBut as Eskoplja, I love horror movies, muahahahahaha =D
I hope your boyfriend is quieter now hehehe = D, is very bad when we do something and not come out as we expected. In my case I have problems with the brand CCE, which is a brand of electronics products in Brazil. The advantage of this brand, as always, is that it has products with a good price. The problem is the buttons of the products. I have a TV of this brand and all her buttons are broken. It only works with the remote control.
My mouse is also the mark and, guess what? The button it is also broken hehehehe. The way is to pay a little more expensive =( .... and buy something better. =D
Have a great night, enjoy the movie ;-)
All the best to you and your family
Hugs from Brazil =)
Good evening Anette, i' sorry to hear taht code of the key doesn't works. I hope in the next day will be ok! :-) This morning here was snowing a lot but the sun coming out and it melt. ReplyDeleteSeems like a nice movie! Altough I didn't like Bridge to Tibethia that much. I never saw the Golden Compass.
ReplyDeleteTonight I'm watching 'Stardust', it's on Belgian tv in 3 minutes. It's a fantasy movie from 2007, my sisters' boyfriend recommended it. He said: You will love it! And after watching the trailer, I think too. So I will have a lovely evening! :)
Hope yours will be lovely as well.
Daphne
Hallo Anette,
ReplyDeleteBuy something at Ikea is always an adventure. Last time I bought a shelf - it was awful to assemble this. I like chinese food - I often take my lunch in a Chinese restaurant - he is quite near my work.
I hope that your door lock working again soon. The movie section is great. I love those movies.
Now I have another question for you: When you fly to Thailand? You will write during this time in this blog?
Wish you a pleasant evening, and love greetings from Austria
We were shopping in the IKEA-once. This was the first and last time too.:=( The product would have been beautiful, but by the time we were able to put it together...with a lot of very dirty words...no comment situation. :=( ...:=)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice evening and night !
hi Nettie!: )
ReplyDeletea love the director, Gabor Csupo! he's hungarian but he's been living in the USA for long years.. such a shame: ( i looove his work, he's one of my heroes: )) in my childhood i always watched his cartoons..
it's great to know that his work is appreciated abroad, 'cause here in hungary many people don't even know his name..
anyway.. have fun watching the movie: )
hugs!
Hey Anette! Sorry I haven't been commenting a whole lot. I've been keeping up with your posts, but I sometimes just don't have any time whatsoever to comment! All that school and homework time, you know?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I LOVE IKEA :D. I used to love going there when I was little to play in the ball pit and now I love going there to simply get new things and then eat swedish meatballs in the little cafe XD. My whole room, except for my chair, TV, plants and piano, is furnished with IKEA stuff. It's all so fantastic and easy to put together. I never had trouble with assembling any of the furniture =\
Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic day and a very merry Christmas. Also, happy last day of Hanukkah, even though I don't think you celebrate it =P. The time between now my next comment might be forever, but I'll keep on faithfully reading the blog of my favorite Swedish person!
Awww Anette you made me laugh so much when you said about your bf cursing & moaning about Ikea furniture!! Your so down to earth its just great =)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your movies! I watched the Secret Garden today it always makes me cry because its such an innocent movie =)
Big Kisses Anette, have a grerat evening & enjoy your food!!Hope your cosy & warm out of the cold snow.
Kisses
Kelly

ReplyDeleteGood night and sweet dreams, our Shining Star! ^_^
Hi Anette.
ReplyDeleteJarmo, your webmaster, wrote on my group on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=feed&story_fbid=203813167207&gid=188597437207) that you finally got premission from Nyman to release 'The Heart Asks Pleasure First'. I just wanna ask if this is true? :) and if it is, when are you gonna release it or how?:) We fans would be really happy if you just could put it on the website just for download as a christmas gift or something :D
Hello! Yeah- two weeks, me too! I don't
ReplyDeletethink I've ever been to IKEA,
but I've heard good things about them
over here...huh, weird.
I would have been cursing too!
I actually popped out "what the hell" in
front of my step-dad because I was
trying to type my research
paper(it's on symphonic metal actually,
I mentioned you a few times! ;-)
but the computer wouldn't
load...anyway, he ignored me.
Well that was nice of them, I hope you
didn't have to be outside too long.
I love those movies, but I haven't heard
of this one but I'll look
to see if I can find it.
Well, I hope you and you're son enjoy
your movie!
Hugs and love, Katie T.

ReplyDeleteHah, I'm living near IKEA. :D And I've got so much things from this shop, and I've never had any problem with it. But, it's normal - once everything is fine, once it isn't.
ReplyDeleteI hate standing in cold. Today I've been waiting for a bus about 1,5 hour! I was frozen to death, really. My toes are still feeling cold :(
I thong something's wrong. Everone's talking about global warming, and now is a december, and I have 20 cm of snow and about 20 degrees below 0 here in south of Poland. Where is the "warming"?
Warm hugs to you, Sylwia
Hello my angel!!
ReplyDeleteToday is my birthday. And unfortunately I'm away from my family and probably will pass this day alone. I know it's hard for you to answer all your fans, but I would be happy if you put a comment on my blog congratulating me by this date so important to me. If you could do this for me, it would certainly be the best birthday present of all time.

Hi, Anette!
ReplyDeleteHow are you?
I like Ikea but sometime, instructions are not easy to understand, what make my parents so angry ;^) . The thing I like the most, is the Ikea Food.
I hope you did not stay in the cold too long.
The movie looks pretty cool =D
Did you hear about "Avatar"?
I think it's a great movie too.
Sleep well
Kisses and hugs
Ana
You are going to love the Secret Of Moonacre, personally I absolutely loved it, heh ;).
ReplyDeleteOh, my dear Anette :) I feel for You and Your family because You all had to stay in cold.
ReplyDeleteBut now I hope You'ar warm and hot :)
Tonight I had a dream about You and Nightwish! It was great! :D
Hugs and much love!
I think IKEA isn't so bad. We bought different shelfs and a tiny livingroon table etc. from them and didn't have any problems putting them together. Neither did we have any missing parts. You just need to follow the instrucions.. ;)
ReplyDeleteHey Anette :)
ReplyDeleteHow are feelimg today?
Hope the Gate code and key are fixed again.
Oh god, i can understand your bf, everytime i need to built a closet or something like that i nearly die by a heart attackkkkkk ;)

Love,
Heta
hej, anette!
ReplyDeletei can't agree with you in the IKEA topic. you've never bought in austrian furniture shops.
i'm quite clumsy with everything, but i never hurt myself with IKEA furniture (which is the most important fact) and i've never had problems with the construction.
the only thing, which is this year utterly wrong there in the food shop i miss julmust this year.
have a beautiful and enjoyable sunday!
i dont think i've ever bought any furniture from ikea, i just bought food haha. they do have good food though.
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie
ReplyDeleteIs veruy cool
Is one of my favorite movies
is very nice
On Ikea store in my town, there was written "God Jul!", so now I know how you say Merry Christmas in Swedish (unless I am mistaken, and it actually means "low prices!"? haha!!)
ReplyDeleteHave nice holidays in Asia :)
