Well good day to you all;=)
This morning I woke up with a boom! And a mean literally with a BOOM;=)
At 5 o clock it started thundering and I flew up, totally lost in space, so tired, but trying to grasp my Ipad and put in my earphones, climb over Johan to get out from the bed room and sit in my dark hallway where I feel safe... Johan didnt understand what I did and said: what are you doing? while I climbed over him in a furious speed.
- It´s thundering, dont you hear it? I kinda screamed-whispered with anxiety in my voice, and ran off.
At 5.45 we all were up, thunder storm had passed and the tiredness came over me. Fell asleep for an hour more and at 9 I ran 10 k´s in the grey weather so the morning got to be a good one despite the "loud" awakening;=)

Once in 2004 (i think it was) we had an earth tremor (like miny earthquake) I flew out of bed & ran out my flat & into the street, ran to the phone box & called my parents because i thought the poltergeist was in my flat haha...my dad say to me you silly girl its just an earth tremor ME i was like oooops with red cheeks..
Sorry your night was disturbed this way but your post was so sweet & funny.

My hair is dyed black but after a short time the color that fades again. I love it when the hair looks as if we'd have dyed it fresh .... maybe you have a tip how I can keep it long?

Reading your posts gives me the envy to practise sport. Yeah! I hated sport at school but I feel I need to do that now. Staying every day at home and doing nothing is so boring and irritating in the long run. Unfortunately, I don't have a job yet. I need to evacuate my energy. Anette, My mom is as afraid of T-storms as you are. I can remember as a little girl comforting her and hiding in the bathroom with her. My sister is 10 years younger than I am. I remember when she was pregnant with my sister, a bad summer storm, fixing dinner for my mom and bringing it to the bathroom for her to eat. I don't know why I got lucky and I am not bothered by storms...

Hej Anette! I'm sorry that you had such a horrible wake up :[ It must be worse that way: when you're awake as the thunder begin you can "prepare" yourself for it. Here we are waiting for Hurricane Irene to slam into the East Coast, they say it might make it up to NYC by late Sunday. Also, we had a small but noticeable earthquake Tuesday, a 5.8 magnitude and centered in Virginia.

Hi Anette, I can understand you very well because I'm so terribly scary of storms too!
ReplyDeleteI hate thunders and lightinings, the first time I was scared it was during a mountain trip. Mountain storms can be very frightening really :(
During these I run in my bed and listen to music loudly too and close my eyes, trying not to hear and see the thunders.
Music has a great calming power, isn't it?

Hmm,waking up like that is not necessarily nice really but that can be reaction by underconscious or something like that.
ReplyDeleteOn this summer thunderstorm came once to the place where I was and I also saw two second lightning a little bit distance in front of me,I haven´t seen them like that on long time.On last summer happened same kind of storm,lightnings I don´t remember but on the storm itself was more power.
Well,some way is interesting to sleep next to computer...although on lately that hasn´t been so much than some time ago.
So,Imaginarium will be release then on this year already.Feels that at Hartwalls gig is not so long time yet so time has gone quite fast at the end of all.Instead that feels that at releasing DPP is quite much time.

I used to like thunderstorms...but lately the lightening is so bad and we are getting tornadoes too. Now I get nervous and keep watching the sky...especially when driving. But it sounds like you are very afraid of them...I hope the loud music helps.
