Memory lane;=)

Ok, time for a nice memory from the DPP tour;=)

The first video is from Hong Kong. I loved seeing Asia and I have wonderful memories from this tour. The fans were amazing and in Japan I got so special gifts from the fans. I still love the "toe socks" I got;=) So nice!



And the second is from Seattle in Halloweeen 2007. One of the funniest gigs I remember and for that show I wanted to dress out real Halloween style. Got a super beautiful costume to wear and I bought lots of spider web for Jukkas drums (the drum tech werent so happy about this;=), halloween stuff for the stage and before the gig Marco decided to dress out too. But he didnt have any costume so he dropped his pants and were gonna play in his underwear and I sprayed a glitter spray on his legs to give him a nice and shiny look (hihi) and I still remember how wonderful he was - playing with bare legs. Lovely and I must say I adore him so much for doing that. A wonderful and really fun and relaxed gig and something I still cherish as one of the best shows so far;=)
Unfortunately there aren´t any good videos out there with good audio so sorry for the quality but you can see our clothes in this;=)

    I am a Nightwish fan from Hong Kong.
    It is really a pity that I didn't know much about Nightwish when you are having a show in Hong Kong, that was a really nice show :(
    I hope you and the band will perform in Hong Kong again.

    Oh, that performance is absolutely beautiful! And I saw a better quality video from the Halloween gig of Ever Dream as well. I just can't wait to hear it live in January! :D

    This memory lane seems to be just in time! I have to say I LOVE to search youtube for Nw-clips. Yesterday, for example, I spent the whole day listening to your performances of Higher Than Hope. I especially love the one from Helsinki, 2008. Really emotional! Love you for that, dear Anette!

    I love the way you was dressed in that Halloween show. This clothes really suits you, you should wear more those kind of sleeves mixed with dark clothes, is so Nightwish.

    Marco is hilarious! The costumes were great for Halloween! Also I always love your performances of Ever Dream, it's one of my favourite Nightwish songs and I love your take on it, gives it a new lease of life in my opinion!

    i remember a video of marco saying to the audience to check out his extremely hairy legs,.. (it was before your time, sadly.) did he shave them this time? haha.

    Hey Anette, I love these videos of you, you are such a fun character on stage :D How do you feel when watching yourself?? I have a friend who is a singer & i think she looks great but she always pics faults with herself & calls herself fat (which is so ridiculous because she is very slim & toned!) Do you pic faults or do you feel proud? I think you make the stage come to life :D

    Do you remember your concert in Birmingham 2008 where the guy shouted that you are sexy???? hehe i was there & it was 1 of the best nights of my life :D

    Wow, dearest, I'm so happy you posted that Ever Dream performance in Hong Kong! I must say it's one of the first live recordings of you and Nightwish that I listened to and instantly fell in love with, years ago. So much love, energy and humbleness, just like a bunch of friends going on a stage, having fun and doing what they do best. It almost gives me shivers down my spine to listen to it after quite a long time and getting the same feelings I did back in the day. I think you're truly lucky people, you and the guys, I think it must be such a great feeling to be there on the stage, with a crowd that loves you, performing the music that you like. And you all deserve it, and I hope you'll be doing it for a long long time from now on.

    I love you! You give us too much fun on concerts! You are amazing and soo powerfull! I must know something: this "Okay! Hep! Hep! hep!" and jumping on scene is invented by you? People love this and this is a great idea to mobilize fans! I remember once Marco or Tuomas in an interview said: "With Anette we feel great" - we feel the same ;]

    I love your performances of "Ever Dream." That one and "Sleeping Sun" are my favorite "old" songs to hear you sing. Hopefully I'll get to hear them in person if you come back to New Orleans on the Imaginarium tour. :)

    Oh man, it made me super-happy that you posted a video from the Halloween concert. That was the first huge concert that I ever went to... I was in pain from standing for about 8 hours or more by the end, but it was fantastic. Marco's "costume" made me laugh! :D
