Early this morning at 8.30 Seth left for his football morning practise outside!! Brrr...I am so happy I am not a football player but a musician;=) It was 0 degrees so I guess not the coldest to play in but still...better to be a musician;=)
Seth will start trying to play drums in 2 weeks and I really hope he´ll like it! I think drummers have a talent far beyond others. To keep the co-ordination between so many different things is amazing. In my family I have 2 drummers so maybe it goes in the genes?;=)
Now I am finishing cleaning the place and fixing lunch for us before heading out for a nice walk in the glowing sunlight. Yes, it is sun again!

ReplyDeleteOh, that's awesome! My friend is a drummer, and she always keeps on bragging how awesome drummers are :D
And you are lucky to have sun in there- here in Roskilde it's fog once again, but, at least, it's not very cold outside.
By the way, it is Denmark's shores that can be seen in photos, right? 'cause I kinda had a discussion with my friend and she can't believe that Denmark is so close to Sweden that it is possible to see both countries shores.
Ow that's so cool that Seth will start with drumminglessons. I hope he likes it too. But, ofcourse he needs to know that you need a lot of practice and that you don't have to give it up immediately. I would like to learn to play the drums too, but I would like to learn so many other things like playing the piano, taking singinglessons.. but for now I will stick with my guitarlessons. I've started with them 1,5 year ago, it's not so easy, but I do see a good progress and that motivates me. And I would just like to be able to rock that guitar, so I will go on with playing and practising and maybe in 3-5 years I'm ready to join a band, who knows!

Late tonight I will be watching the hockey match I have a bet on with Tuomas. My team vs his, fingers crossed. Game wont finish till 2:30 am so will be tired for work tomorrow heh.

ReplyDeleteI think it is very important for kids to have sports / activities. My Son next Friday is going for his purple / black belt in karate. The next belt is brown and I am so proud of him. He is also 10, he has been doing karate since 5 and he still loves it. He wants to do weights like I do and I told him he is way to young. So he sticks to pushups, situps, etc.. Body weight only. I am glad Seth loves football. Enjoy your day.

ReplyDeleteDrummers are really good. My brother is a drummer. He is 16 years old as me, but soon we'll have 17. My second brother plays keyboards and horn in orchestra. And my third brother also plays horn! So, I and my three brothers plays in an orchestra! :) Very interesting!
Drums are very complicated for me. I can't in same time plays with my hands and legs! So, I really admire to drummers! ;)
I think Seth will do it! He need to lot of practise! ;)

Drummers are awesome, but my favorite instrument is the keyboard, and after that the cello ....but I think just the fact that someone can play an instrument is amazing.

ReplyDeleteSo, I don't play football too, it's ironic cause I'm brazilian, "The country of the football" as everyone says. I prefer fights like Kung Fu.
But practice one sport is good, and I think the talent with music goes with genders like any talent.

The Man in Black Is God, that see everything in the world, and in the end, you can see: only pure people can see Him, like the boy that He saved. It's almost an gospel song. I played it on acoustic guitar and it's so easy, but The Islander isn't hihi, but I like to play it too, cause is one of my fave of Nightwish ;D

I agree with you Anette, about the drummers. I'm always so amazed how drummers can keep up the certain rhythm and change it for couple of seconds and so on... And they drum with both hands and feet.
