Glittery eyes


Good evening!

I have had a photo shoot today and it went well so here´s a little photo of my glittery eyes for the occasion. The results of the photo shoot will be out in the beginning of february, I´ll let you know where to find it;=)

    Wow that looks cool, you do it or was their an artist doing the make-up?

    I'm off to hairdresser in next few days, red on my hair only lasted a week so I need something a bit better. How do you get your colour to keep so well being natural blonde too, I find it fades after 1 wash.

    Carol: Hi there! Hope you and the little one are ok;=) Well, I did it all myself today. Some fake eyelashes and smoky eyes. I dont look as good as if I have a professional doing it on me but I mostly have to do it myself. My red hair colour are called "Elumen" from Goldwell, check this link: http://www.elumen-haircolor.com/
    Maybe you can find a hair dresser that uses that? And then I use Redken or Kerastase hair products for washing it to keep the colour. Redken is the red series and Kerastase the pink one. I also try and just wash it every third or fourth day and just rinse it the days between that and use conditioner. Hugs!

    And the little one is great thank you. Cut a tooth last night which was giving him some trouble, so now he is happier.

    Oh I love that make up, Anette. Shimmer eye shadows are so much fun, I bet the photo shoot was awesome!

    Carol, I know you are asking Anette, but I hope this is helpful too! I'm not sure if your hair is dyed black/brown with red?


    My hair dresser used a one step process hair color instead of bleaching my black hair then putting a color in, that way it always stayed a shade of red through out the time I had it. I just posted more info on my blog if that is helpful. http://igqira.blogspot.com/

    Colors will always fade out but low salt/sulfate shampoos or color safe shampoos help a little. I also buy "Rock 'n' Roll Red" from a company called Manic Panic http://www.manicpanic.com/index.html

    If your hair is very dark and the only thing you are trying to color are the faded streaks, Manic Panic is amazing for touch ups. It does not have bleach in it, it is just the color pigments.

    I section my hair off and just re-paint my streaks with a Tint Brush. leave it sit on for 30 minutes then wash it like normal. You can still do the same thing if your base hair color is lighter, but you would have to be careful not to touch hair that you do not want dyed. It does stick to the skin easily, so wearing gloves is a good idea.

    If you still have trouble with colors sticking. Maybe ask you stylist about using a filler, sometimes hair processes strip what colors need to stick to. :)
