WT and Faster;=)

So, some of you have asked if I have heard the new song with Within Temptation, Faster, and I hadnt so today I looked it up and I am one of those who just love their new sound. I love their old sound too but for me, going forward and change a path is needed in music. And Sharon sounds incredible in the song! So good;=)

I look so forward to hear the album and if the songs are gonna be this good, wow!

    I must admit i wasn't keen on their old sound. This sounds amazing though. Sharon voive just comes 'alive'. I'm going to download it a.s.a.p. xx

    Oh, they really have a bit different sound :O I didn't know about this. I'm not quite sure do I like it. I mean, the song is great and all but I guess it takes more listening to get into the song :) And Sharon has really good voice in this.
    I'm a WT fan so it's only a matter of time when I will play this very loud :D

    i've listened it but i don't like. I want to listen to their new album and i hope that it's better than this song. Which is your favourite their song and album? Would you like to duet with Sharon? In your solo album will there the ballads also? You know that i love your voice and that it's very suitable for them. *___*

    Hey Anette :D So glad you like their new single, I had some problems adjusting to their new style but now I LOVE IT !!!
    Also, I'm glad you like Adele too, I just discovered her one week ago, I love her song "Set fire to the rain",
    Today I watched the video for WT's new single Faster and it's incredible, Sharon is gorgeous and amazing as always.
    Hopefully we will have an amazing surprise with Nightwish aswell when the new single and album will come out xD

    By the way, sorry to post a second comment but it came on to me now. I wanted to ask, at what age you took the decision to move on with our life on your own? To be the independent woman and having to live all by yourself, without needing anyone's help ?

    I love this song, too. her voice here is great. and the lyrics, too.

    Hi, Nettie! I didn't had heard this new song too, but now I did, and I have to say that is different to the other things that WT did, but is great! This sound have much more energy and it goes amazing with Sharon's voice. I wanna hear the rest of the album, and this remember me... what happen with the new album of Nightwish? xD I want to hear it too!
    Well, I know, I know, we have to wait xD I just hope time goes fast, haha.

    I'm waiting the next album of them too. I think that The Unforgiven (the next WT album) will be very good. Cause only too songs they released leave me in love! (Where is the Edge and Faster)
    I like the new Within Temptation too, the same way I like the old WT, my favorite albuns are:
    Mother Earth and The Heart of Everything.
    And the songs that I like most of them are:
    Mother Earth, What Have you Done, Utopia and The Heart of Everything.

    Yes your right new sound in music is great, still the same band & same performance on stage so what does it matter... a positive change with in a band is magical... i think like when you yourself replaced tarja & nightwish have a new sound i think it re awakens and refreshes things for the best & gives room for new ideas & new inspiration & i really really cant wait to hear the new NW album...its good to move forward with new ideas & with music you never stop learning its amazing!!! :D

    I think Sharon sounds brilliant on this new track ;)

    Hi,

    i've never been huge fan of WT but to me it's sounds pretty the same as they old stuff. maybe it's because of Sharon voice which is so integral part of their music that no matter what they play it always sounds similar, probably even if it would be country.

    Hi Anette! I love Sharon's voice too. I first heard her on Avantasia's The Metal Opera CD. I had just fallen in love with Nightwish (2004), so Within Temptation followed naturally. And to be honest, her voice was so much easier on my ears than Tarja's. SO imagine my delight when I heard Eva! Someday if you and the boys are ever bored in the studio (like that could ever hapen with your genius maestro, Tuomas) please record a studio version of Sleeping Sun! I get goosebumps on my goosebumps everytime I hear you sing it!

    Anette - I loved this song, thanks. Hey I have a question.. A while back you said that you are caffine sensative. I know your workout is similiar to mine, run in the morning and weights later in the day.. Do you notice that on days you workout that even a little bit of coffee makes you jittery, also do you notice on days you run and work out with weights you wake up easier at night? Just wondering because I have noticed this over the last few years. Have a good day..

    Jag älskar oxå WT och "Faster" är en bra låt, men jag känner att jag måste lyssna igenom hela nya skivan innan jag ger mitt betyg på deras nya sound. Men jag håller med om att Sharon är helt fantastisk som vanligt! :)
    Jag ska förresten se dem live när de kommer till Sverige i oktober, i Göteborg. Längtar som fasiken tills dess!

    I love WT too and "Faster" is a good song, but I feel that I need to listen through the whole new album before I give my grade on their new sound. But I agree with you that Sharon is awesome as usual! :)
    By the way, I'm going to see them live when they're coming to Sweden in October, in Gothenburg. Longing as hell till then!

    Hey Anette!

    I LOVE the new song too!! It took a few listens, but now I'm hooked. Of course I love their older sound, but I think they've evolved into this SO well, that it still sounds very "Within Temptation" to me. I can't wait to hear the new album :D.

    Does the new Nightwish album take any turns like this? Or is it the same good old Nightwish we all love? I know Tuomas loves to do what inspires him, so I'm curious to see what direction the music takes :). I am just as anxious for the new NW album as I am for the new WT album! Lacuna Coil is working on a new one too. AH! So much good music this year! ;)

    Hello Anette,
    I wanna ask you about a thing that has been going round and round in my head (and the head of a lot of fans) since "bye bye beautiful" was released. Even if the song is titled "bye.." so many people understand, myself included, "die die beautiful" in spite of "bye bye beautiful". Is this a deliberate irony or a lyric's play on words? or are we just mishearing?
    It's so funny, though.

    "Faster" is nice, but as for me "Where is the edge" sounds better.. maybe because it's more like old WT songs ;) However, I can't wait for album and I hope it will be as good as previous ones!
    The school starts again here, after 2 weeks of winter holidays.. It was soo hard to wake up this morning ;)

    I love their new sound! :D I loved their old sound aswell, but change is very important for a band, otherwise it can get boring after a while! And Sharon's voice is absolutely amazing in this song!! It's becoming one of my favouries already! Can't wait for their new album! :)

    Wow, this song is great!!
    I have to admit, that I was a bit annoyed, that WT delayed their tour AGAIN... But after listening to this song, I´m really looking forward to their new album!
    But what I´m much more curious about, is the new Nightwish album!!! My "NW-abstinence-sympoms" are getting more and more unbearable! I´m spending hours watching videos from the Hartwall-Areena show in 2009 on youtube, wishing I could be there again...
    It´s such a pity that you didn´t make a DVD out of it...

    I love this song! Yes, it is certainly different from anything else WT have ever done but like you said Anette, change is important in music, =).

    I am a massive fan of all the different sounds WT have had over the years and I'm really excited about the new album! I really like the way it is based on a comic story and the way there are short movies to accompany it; it's very unique! I'm just annoyed that iTunes UK are so rubbish and do not release Faster until Feb 8th... unfair!

    I really like the song and so much their new sound !!! In the end, i didn't like Within Temptation anymore cause it sounded too much dramatic because of their melody and their lyrics, even if i loved the voice of Sharon =)
    And now that i listened "Faster", it seems that they turned to something different, more rock and it sounds very promissing for the rest of the album !! =DD
