Ok, it´s been a while since you could ask me questions, so let´s take a little questioning session;=)

    I'm Eva from Romania. I'd really like to know if you guys will have some concerts here when the new album comes out?
    -cuz i will be there! Period-
    and if you ever thought to give up singing even when things didn't go as planned cuz, well ...i'm kinda having some problems fulfilling my dreams, it's kinda complicated. So i wondered what kept you going, besides your passion for singing, your dreams, etc. because life can really suck sometimes -pardon my french-.

    So, first of all, I wanted to thank you for giving us this opportunity to ask you some questions, I really appreciate that :). I actually have quite a few, but since I know you always get so many questions, I won’t post all of them.

    1: If you were to rate your blog, would be E (everyone) or more like PG13?

    2: So, I understand that probably none of the old Era Songs will ever be recorded with your voice, but if some of them were, do you think they would sound very different from your live versions? Or pretty similar?

    3: Do you ever enjoy any of the time you spend in the tourbus with the guys and the crew? Or is that pretty much always a stressful and not so fun part of touring?

    4: What was one of your favorite states to visit in the USA? And why?

    5: Are there any clothes that you wore on stage that you still wear sometimes?

    6: You’ve shared pictures of yourself when you were really little with us before, so I was wondering if you’d ever share pictures from when you were a teenager or maybe when you were in your 20s?

    7: How long has it been since you last had your natural haircolor?

    8: When choosing your stage outfits, I know you mentioned that you try to do something that goes with whatever country your playing in, but aside from that and obviously picking something that you like and that is your kind of style, do you base it off of anything else? Like trying to portray the image and elements of Nightwish itself?

    hi Anette thanks for the oportunity :) here are my questions, if it isn't possible to answer them all, only one would be aweosome:

    1) On the first photoshoots for Nightwish and half of the DPP Tour you used to have black hair then switched to blonde. Recently turned to black again. Is it a fashion choice, a label commitment?

    2) Personally i never expected you to re-create the Nightwish sound for your own tracks but do you think that when a recognized vocalist does a solo album the quality tends to be forgotten because of the name of the person behind the songs?

    3) In early interviews you said your Finnish wasn't that good... If so, why do kuolema tekee taiteilijan to introduce yourself?

    4) Some people tend to say your voice isnt suitable with an orchestra behind. As you've done some solo appearences with orchestra, can we expect some more in the future?

    5) As a regular visitor of your blog i see you have some interests in the fashion area. Like many pop artists do, can we expect a clothing line from Anette Olzon?

    Hey Anette!

    1 - I find amazing that you can sing the old nightwish songs mostly in chest voice! Has your voice always been this strong?

    2 - Also, you mentioned practicing flute register in one of your posts, do you think some day we will hear you singing in that register, maybe in Nightwish? :)

    3 - Last question, have you ever wondered about voice acting for cartoon/videogame/animation movie characters, while not on tour with Nightwish?

    1) Tuomas said recently in a chat of his oficial site that "The heart asks pleasure first" had its release denied again by Michael Nyman, that he changed his mind and really hated the song. So it means that will never be released? Not even played live? :(

    2)Are you preparing yourself for the shootings of Imaginarium movie? Have you ever take acting lessons?

    Have you ever heard of the Finnish Love Metal Band HIM? If you have, do you like them?

    And if not, I truly strongly recommend them. Even though they are called Love Metal, they are actually quite rocky and just judging by some of the artists that you listen to, I think you would really like them.

    Well, first of all, how are you?
    And thanks a lot for doing things like this with us. Very few artists are as friendly as you are :)

    Well, I always have questions, but when the time of asking comes I forget them... Anyway, here we go:

    1. We have seen some videos of the Imaginarium recording process, but none of them of the vocals. Did you recorded any one?

    2. Any plans for new photoshoots?

    3. Talking about photoshoots, what was of that cool dress you used for the forst photos of DPP? The brown one with the lion belt. It would've been cool to see it live! :) You were very beautiful with that hair by the way hehe

    4. We could hear you use your head register in some songs during the 2nd part of the DPP tour (e.g. Ghost Love Score). No need to say it was amazing. Have you used that register for the news songs?

    5. Will you like to introduce any other old songs to the repertoir of the new tour? Which ones?

    6. What do you think of the female metal scene? Are you of those who think that it is saturated, or of those who think that the more the better? Which are for you the best female singers?

    Btw, what was you opinion about the new WT album? You said you bought it but didn't write any opinion :)

    7. In the second part of the DPP tour you didn't come to Spain. The last time you came was for the Lorca Rock Festival in 2008 (ages ago! xD) Hope to see you soon here :) Any good memories of Spain? Would you like to visit it more? We have very beautiful and comfortable places both in the mountains / forests and in the coast! ;)

    1. Some time ago you told us that you wanted to sell some of your clothes via Tradera/Ebay and since I would like to buy them I would like to know if you will do it;

    2. How much time does it take to run 10km for you? Time, speed and not only distance I would like to know!;=)

    3. If you like a dress, how much money do you feel you can spend to buy it (are you a crazy shopping lady or do you define yourself thrifty/ careful?)? What's the most expensive stage-dress (or off-stage dress) you have bought since you are in Nightwish?

    4. Your stage name: have you ever thought about different stage names? Was it difficult to came up with "Anette OLZON" in the end?

    5. I am very very eager to know more about your diet and portions: proteins, carbs (not the bad ones), vitamines, etc....can you tell us more?

    - How are your workouts going along?, since you are busy with daily life how do you make time?
    -What kind of diet are you on? Im just wondering because it seems to be working for you. You seem not to fall off the wagon that easily. I was eating well, and excercising avoiding certain foods in order to lose the weight after giving birth to my son. I got to point i was fit but then i was confused of what to do next. So then i starting to fall of the wagon. you have any tips on what i should do?
    -What keeps you going, in working out everyday?
    This question might be personal. How do you keep your relationship going with your partner after being away for a long time during the touring all over the world? Im having a difficult time since i moved here in europe, coming from america. It really has tested my marriage since moving here, it is very difficult to adjust to a new world. Any advice is good.     I was wondering about which of the following aspects you consider absolutely necessary for a singer: expressiveness, solid technique or a beautiful voice? I know all of them are important and can be crucial for how a singer is perceived by their audience, but which one would you "pick" over the others, if you had a choice?

    I know you've already answered some questions, hope u can still answer mine.

    1- How do you think you will deal with fans during the next tour, once you'll have little nemo with you there ( and for "dealing" I mean taking pictures, autographs, ete,)?

    2- Would you mind uploading the other songs you sent to Tuomas on a demo ( I assume I ain't the only one who is anxious to listen to them,haha) =]

    3- Do you think there will be old songs from nightwish (old era) that u still haven't sung during the next tour?

    4- Do you think your voice sound better now then it used to sound when you still hadn't been on a long tour( for ex.: when you listen to a live song, like 7 days, from 2007 and then you listen to it from 2009, you voice sounds different)?

    5- will there be any orchestra on the kick off show?

    Sorry if I asked too much, but I've always wanted to ask these for you.

You are all wonderful and kind people who give warmth and love to many other people around the World!!! When I listen to your music, I always want to become better, want do something good. Once again, thank you very much for everything you do for us!!!
    And now I would like to ask a few questions:
    1. I know that besides singing you like to run and you keen on a fashion. What hobbies do you have else?
    2. As I said all songs of Nightwish is filled kind and positive emotions, but what a greater force motivates Tuomas write such music and lyrics? I think it should be a strong feeling, like love, or longing, or something like that… And what do you think about it as the friend of Tuomas and member of the group? And could you tell us a little about how Tuomas writes the music and lyrics?
    3. I have heard that besides Swedish and English languages, you else know a few languages. What languages do you else know? Did you study Finnish language? And can you give some advice how to learn so many languages?
    4. If you feel bad on the soul (I apologize for my words, and I sincerely wish that you will be always in a good mood and that everything was fine), what helps you feel better?

    1. Relating to your exercising, I remember a while ago you mentioned you take whey protein products to help build muscle. I was wondering if you found they helped much and if so what would you recommend (i.e. bars, milkshake powder etc)?

    2. Will you do a large amount of acting in the Imaginarium movie, if so how much acting experience do you have?
