Chased


Why do you chase me, Rutger???;=)

So, for some nights I have been having nightmares again and I am chased and the guy from the movie "The Hitcher" from 1986 - Rutger Hauer - wants to kill me and everyone around in the dream...

Hmmm... am I feeling stressed? ;=) I guess so. Maybe time for a nice massage, some relaxing time?

    I've been having terrible nightmares lately, that have got worse every day. I dreamed first that someone I liked was dating someone else, then I dreamed I passed out in a street and no-one came to help, and the last one I killed someone O_O very scary!

    you've written Bauer but it's Hauer. I've never swatched that movie but i've watched many many times ladyhawke. I love it! Did you ever watched it? Lucky it was only a dreamn!

    Oj :o Jag har inte egentligen haft så hemska mardrömmar om att någon dödar mig (förutom Mårran från Mumin då jag vbar about 5..), däremot har jag drömt att min mamma dog. Det var en av de värsta dagarna i mitt liv, mådde otroligt dåligt och hade hemska känslor..
    Annars har jag drömt att jag så att säga såg på hur andra (från Freddie vs. Jason) blev jagade och mördade.. Fast det blev jag inte väldigt rädd för..

    Förresten, tack tack tack! att ni kommer till Finland redan i mars :) <3

    I am so glad you mention nightmares!! I have had terrible nightmares...I have had a dream where a child fell from a roller coaster & was dying in front of me & also i had a dream where i was on a busy road & 3 children got run over..:((( I was very upset by these dreams...I have asked people what they think they mean & on the internet too but there is no clear idea so yes maybe stress or feeling angry with things to with my job...thats probably it!!! Yes i have seen the Hitcher movie so that must have been very scary for you haha ...

    Hey, being chased by Rutger Hauer isn't exactly what I'd call a bad dream! ;) He's one of my favourite actors, and he's really amazing and talented.

    Speaking of which, I can definitely recommend some of his movies: "Blade Runner," "Ladyhawke," "The Hitcher" (which you've clearly watched, and I agree he was really creepy in that movie!), "Flesh and Blood," "Turkish Delight" (it's in Dutch, but I'm sure it comes with English subtitles at least, and it's one of his best movies), "Fatherland," "Merlin" (in the last two he played opposite Miranda Richardson, who is also an incredibly talented and underrated actress).

    OK, I know you didn't ask for movie recommendations and this was me being very fangirly, but do give those movies a shot. I'm sure you'll enjoy them! :)

    Nightmares suck (stating the obvious there haha) I remember I had a dream where I was being chased by this bald man I'd never even seen, and then like a year later, I had the same exact dream, except in a different location. It was creepy.. Anyway! You could always look up dream meanings on the internet, I know there's a bunch of sites dedicated to that stuff. I think chasing dreams usually represent anxiety.. could be wrong though.

    I've seen that movie! Boy, he's scary!! The old horror films are the best. I love horror films though. Especially at Halloween :-D

    Haha, weird. At first sight I thought it was a serious post, something like "Wanted". It was you being chased in your nightmares instead:=)
    Yes, stress is the reason I think. Just relax with stones massages and light candles like you always do ^_^, it may help. The glasses look good on your face and the lents make your eyes bigger:=) , I think it's for your view defect (I don't know how to call it)? Do you use contact lens too?

    Hi Anette,

    thank God I don´t get nightmares from watching Horror movies. That would suck, ´cause I love them! ;) Not that disgusting kind of "SAW" movies but more spooky ones like "The Others" with Nicole Kidman, "The sixth sence", or "Paranormal activity".
    I once made the mistake and went out for a walk with my dog in the already dark evening after watching "Pet Cemetery", wooooh, NEVER again... You don´t believe how scary even cute deer can become...;) ( I live at the countryside ).
    But enough of that, just noticed that I haven´t been out with my dog yet :(
    Actually I wanted to watch "Resident Evil" later this evening. But maybe it will rather become something like "The Simpsons" now! :D
    However, have a good sleep and pleasant dreams and if you meet Mr. Hauer again, just tell him to BEAT IT AND ANNOY SOMEONE ELSE! Or just imagine how he would look like in the clothes of your grandma ( like Nevill in Harry Potter III ;)).
