Stockholm

Hi all! We drove up here to Stockholm on thursday and it took 6 hours and we drove half the way each. I got a migraine and when we arrived it was quite bad and no pills with me of course. So yesterday morning after starting off doing two radio interviews I got picked up by a cab and I immediately asked the driver to get me a pharmacy. He was so kind and after some driving around we found it, I jumped off and bought some migraine pills. Thank God for them cause they made me able to cope with both photo shoots and interviews all day. Tuomas arrived at 10.30 and we started with doing two interviews at Radio Bandit, which is a leading rock channel here in Sweden. They are all so nice and we had a great time there. After that we went to Warners office for doing the rest of the interviews. We did a photo shoot for Sweden rock magazine followed by some photos for Edge magazine before interviews with both magazines and Close up magazine, Kamratposten, Kulturbloggen and many more. At 20 we were all done and I was so hungry and longing to see Nemo so coming back to my sisters place was nice:-) we ate shrimps, crab, edamame beans, cheese, garlic bread and it was delicious. Today I woke up with my migraine for the third day so I know its the last day since I always have three days every time it occurs. So should be gone tomorrow. Now we're soon gonna walk to the city for some shopping and even if its a bit colder here its a nice day outside. Stockholm is a beautiful city and if you havent visited it I can recommend you to do so. Enjoy this day!

  1. Hi Anette,

I have a migraine too. Had it yesterday a. s well. With me, I think it's because I spend too much time at the computer. It is horrible though, but I try not to take any pills for it.

Thanks for the update. I'll get my brother to look out for those magazines in Sweden.

    Take care,
    Marie

  5. Hej Anette!

Oj, stackars dig, I have sometimes migraine too and even though I take I pill, I still can't do anything but stay in the bed.

I have visited Stockholm two times and I fell in love with the city immediately :) Swedish people are so different to finnish people, you are not so shy :D

  6. Hello, dear Anette!
First, I really wish you to be totally alright tomorrow.
I've seen some pictures of Stockholm and my impression of the city is just the same - very beautiful! So I'm eager to see what kind of pictures you have for us :)
And last, I wasn't able to follow the blog the past two weeks and just now I found your links to James Morrison's music - so nice melodies! I fell in love! Thanks for sharing them!
Now, enjoy the last day in Stockholm (if I'm not wrong) and the trip to home.
    With lots of hugs,
    Marina

  8. Hello Anette,

Glad to hear that you had a safe trip, and that mostly you’ve had a nice time so far. Sounds like you’ve had quite full days so far. I’m sorry to hear about the migraine, that’s never any fun, and I hope it was gone by this morning as you assumed it would be.

I’ve seen some new pictures that were released from the movie shoot, and I must say the one of you lying across the piano is so gorgeous. The dress is stunning and you look so beautiful. From all the album reviews of Imaginaerum that I’ve read, I’m assuming Slow, Love, Slow will be performed during that scene :).

Well, I pray you that have a lovely day, and that you enjoy the remaining promotional things, visiting your family and Johan’s family, and that the weather isn’t too cold!

    Take care,
    Alexandria

  10. Hello Nettie:
I'm so sory for your migraine, I suffer that too, I know how you feel, but, when I feel it, my mom inject me ketorolaco.... I don't know how to translate that medicine to english, maybe must be similar than in spanish, I recomend it really much to you, an injection of ketorolaco and some minutes of rest and believe me, you'll be like new!!!!
Take lot of care, and do it, really do it, you will remember me!!!!

  11. Hmm, so sorry to hear about your migraine. ;( When I used to have it, it usually lasted for 3 days so I suppose that's normal...? But it's sooo terrible... Hope you're ok tomorrow!

Stockholm is a lovely city! Last time I was there, I saw you. :) It was "Suomi safari" and you were so amazing with an orchestra. I had some wonderful days in Stockholm then, and I miss the town. Drive carefully and enjoy your Monday!
