hey anette! good picture. It motivates. So thats now my motivaten picture for lose kilos. ;-) I've found a good app with a lot of exercises and it really does fun. I would like to remove 12 kilos and I hope it helps. maybe you have tips for me?
Very true! ^_^ And it makes me feel better about my monstrous thighs. They're solid muscle, but they still piss me off sometimes. XD
You should always strive to be healthy. Being a real, healthy, happy woman is the most beautiful thing you can be. Looking like a stick bug is only a good goal if you happen to be a stick bug. :P
Apsara: Oh yeah, love your thighs;=) I´ve been way to skinny some years ago and I never exercised then. Only never ate and my energy levels, my mood and overall happiness were so down and I got depressed. Now I eat healthy, exercise to get stronger and its so much more fun! And yeah, as you say: if you are a stick bug naturally thats ok but to be it by not eating and being "sick" -no thanks! Take care now and enjoy exercising!
Finjaa:Hi! Dont think about exercising for just losing weight. See it as a transformation of "your natural body". With exercising you will be more toned and strong and loose in your cm´s. For me, I never weigh myself but I do measure myself and also go by my clothes and how I feel inside. Exercising for me, is a way of life and it makes me so much happier and more satisfied with myself. And I sing so much better;=) I can recommend to run, do power walks and use your own body like with crossfit. Always take the stairs and do that everyday exercise by walking to your job, to school, to the store eg. And I have cut out sugar and candy and I feel better without that. And most of all: love yourself and enjoy life and eat normally;=)
Thank you Annette! that does good to hear. I would like to remove yourself feel better and therefore somewhat. I'd like to wear really nice outfits and with a little belly is a little difficult. I hope I can do it. :-)
This is so true. I really love to exercise, though I can't do it so much right now. I usually take long walks or go to biking. I also do horseback riding and that's what I love.
Years ago I execise only to loose weight. That went little bit too far. Now I have started to get a good feeling after workout. It's much funnier to exercise and not counting calories that burning at the same time. I want to be healty looking, I guess it's true that healty mind and healty body are walking hand in hand.
Do you Anette prefer to exercise at the gym / home / somewhere inside or on the outside ? I usually do my workout's at the outside because I like take long walks but if it's raining I prefer to be at home or go to gym.
Hi Anette. A nice picture, which brings an important message. I'd love to be able to follow the "advice", let's define it like this. I'm plump and I'm not happy about it, but for too many reasons at the moment I don't start seriously to lose weight and give a better shape to my body. Anyway, yours is beautiful, you're more gorgeous now than ever my dear.
Is that position usually possible on nature, balance is quite much on the limit.Well maybe would be nice if muscles would be like that but what I would do with that power,I don´t feel need to have that not much more what I have that.
So aa,during about 15 years I have driven with quite many vehicles and as part almost to my job so that´s why that doesn´t fascinate so much anymore. On Sunday I was stopping by on seashore and was actually just nice.
I must say that this doesn´t feel so easy not nearly always, many times I demand quite much at myself what comes to writing.Or then at times less would enough too.
Good late night continue - after a moment to sleep here
I agree so much with the message you give and have given also in other occasions through your blog. Especially because I have always had the opposite problem. People usually think that being quite thin has no consequences, but it causes so many problems, and also many prejudices from others. I still remember that at high school my classmates sometimes lightly used to joke about my appearance. Unfortunately my body 'burns' so much, especially when I'm through hectic/stressful periods. That usually brings me the problems you described (weakness, bad mood and so on). I've never been a sporty person, but I admire those who have the force for exercising, and I have often thought about choosing some activity for myself, but I'm always afraid this will lead me to lose some other weight instead of making me strong. When I'm able to gain some weight I immediately feel the difference and I feel really fine. I'd also like to have a nice pair of pin-up thighs : ) whenever I say that, people think I'm joking, but well. I just think people should gain the right balance with their body. Sorry for all these babblings, I just wanted to contribute with another point of view. And anyway, you really give a lot of energy on stage, so the results of your efforts are quite evident :) I wish you a nice evening.
Hm, I bet that somewhere, in some parallel universe, there is a version of me that is able to do that hehe. :D
But I do agree with you. I strongly dislike the image society tries to enforce - that women need to be super skinny to be pretty. Soo wrong. I mean, what's sexy about a twig? Nada! Curves and muscles and strength all the way. Also love the thing about you never weighing yourself. I agree, muscles weigh a lot anyway, so what's the point?
Hi Anette - that pic says so much doesn't it. To be blessed with healthy body and mind, to have wonderful family and friends, to be following your dreams and being passionate about everything you do - life is a wonderful experince. Enjoy every day as you do, Deleece x
