As many others, I have read that one of my favourite clothes designers today took his own life. The world and the fashion world lost one very big designer today and I wish he will rest in peace.
In fashion he was for me, so incredibly bold and made so special pieces. I have several of his clothes and my outfit when performing in swedish morning TV together with Pain was his design.

ReplyDeleteI get being so angry when I saw Heidi Klum saying: It's a big lost for the Fashion World. That's so cruel. We also should people see as humans not what they express, they do and they show.It's sadly enough that the world just look of materials !!!

I didn't know anything about him, it's always sad when someone is unhappy enough to make him take his life, though. RIP.

So sorry to hear about this sad news. Death has always got to be hurting for the family and friends. It must be hard to understand the personal hell in which this guy mind was to make this action the solution.

I have one or two clothes made by him, he was truly a special guy. So sad...

This is very sad... Gosh, it looks like every great talent in the artist world is dying. I've lost Michael Jackson and Alexander McQueen in such a curt space of time...

It's sad that he took his own life. I guess the death of his mother was too much for him. No matter who you are, losing someone close to you is always heart-breaking, and moving on is a very hard thing to do. Even after years pass, there's always a scar from that loss when you look back.

Since I heard that yesterday the thing that always come in my mind is one.. Since I was a little girl in school and started learning about fashion with my best friend he was the one that fascinated me the most.. So original and unique,there are many designers that are unique of course,but he became my favourite since... The thing that I keep thinking is that all his innovation will be missing now from the fashion world... I know he will be missed as a person from the ones taht now him but the rest of us,what will be missed is his work and creations,if we want to be honest...

ReplyDeleteThis was so sad to hear about. I really like his fashions and really sympathize for him. He must have been feeling incredibly lost without some of the most important people in his life; having lost his Mum, friend and Auntie.
ReplyDeleteI've lost in my life too, but I don't know what I'd do if I lost my Mum right now. I think I'd crumble and want to die, but know I mustn't do anything like this. There are so many people I want to live for. Honestly.

PS..I've noticed that some people, like Tuomas Holopainen pronounce your name Anet-te, instead of Anette such as Americans do. I understand that Finnish people pronounce every letter verbally and thought this may be why, but not sure. Just courious and not important.
