Finally...

Yesterday in the fourth and last competition to get the finalists to compete to be the winner in Sweden and represent us in the big Eurovision song contest in may, we got a winner who gave me shivers and tears in my eyes... it took so many weeks with quite crappy songs but this song is just amazing. She also have an incredible and special voice;=)

Enjoy!

  3. Wow, Excellent!!! Very nice song and voice...

I am always wondering, why our "singers" in Eurovision sing in Slovak. Ok, native language but in Oslo nobody speak Slovak and as you said crappy songs are sang...and one won....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YohDlIC93cI a song about part of our country...I don't like it...

  5. Hej Anette, i hope you had a good day. :)

Oh wow.... The Norwegian song was not bad, but this one's great! And after tons of crappy songs, i could undertsand your feeling with this one, it's really good. And what a voice! Still, what a dress! She would look better without, i think...
Thanks for posting, it was a really good listening. :)

  7. @Bonome: how could you compare a good singer with one of the best singer in the world?
Ok, i'm a bit partial (Anette is on my top 3 singers), but still - it would take a deaf (& dumb) to say Anette is not an excellent singer.
And other than this, how could you compare a good beer and the best champagne you ever drank? I love them both (i will even take a beer to drink for my bday in 15 days), but champagne is just one of the best thing in the world. And it's not only the blood from Champagne (my maternal grandfather was from Vitry le François, and i was christened with a spoon of champagne) that speak in me. :)
Bonome, really, if you want to compare any singer with our dear Anette, you'll almost always found that Anette is better.

  11. wow, I hardly find singers that I like and that can give me emotions, but she really do!
My country has stopped joining Eurovision, I guess because in Februaby we have our national Festival and they don't want another festival to share the audience, who know...but I'm happy we don't join Eurovision, the songs presented at our festival were just embarassing, musically, vocally and lyrically (and the good ones were left out instantly).
    Btw, awesome singer!

  12. @Steff: Of course, Anette is one of my favorite female singers =)
I think not only because of the voice (which is beautiful), but also because of the charisma and the way she treats the fans, always polite and friendly. These things make a difference to a fan. =)
But ok, I have to admit I was a bit partial also in this comparison but I like more of the voice similar to the tone of Anette. For exemple I think easy say the voice of Anette better in this occasion, but if I compare the voice of Anette with the voice of... for exemple... Aylin (Sirenia) or Sharon den Adel (Within Tempitation) I think more hard to give one opinion becouse all the tonalities of voices I love, is a war of titans of music hehe =)
But this singer is amazing and deserved to win Eurovision.
Have a good night dear Steff and Anette

    Hugs from Brazil =)

  13. Hi Anette,
she has really good voice, a bit like Christina Aguilera for me :)
I'm very-very sorry now, because i've just read, that Hungary won't be at the ESC this year :(:(:( But we have many talented singers... (E. g. Magdi Rúzsa, who got 9th place at the contest in 2007: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAhouvVeqcg )

  14. @Bonome: i have to admit that seing someone as lovely, sweet, caring and loving as Anette could make a difference for the fans (a word i don't like much, i'm a fan of someone's voice but not a fan of someone, if it's make sense). Actually, i'm partly devoted to Anette and to stand for her since i know her as a human being. It was already hard to keep my mouth shut with all the moronic comments before i start to listen to NW with Anette, now it's a lot more harder. More than a few time, i've found myself so angry with these morons that i shut my eyes and silently scream "OKAYYYY... HEP, HEP..." (curiously, i've found that it helps a lot to feel better when i'm angry), and if i feel the need to reply i do this as quietly as possible (sometimes it's very hard, especially when someone told you to fuck yourself).
And speaking about the tonality of the voice, i think i'd add Anneke Van Giersbergen (sp?). I've listened a lot to my 3 cds, and on some songs i've found myself wondering how it would be if sung by Anette, ot in a duet with Anette (especially "Physical"). The 2 voices would mix nicely, i think. :)
    Here's a youtube link for Anneke's Physical (i LOVE this song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU6Smb89TMw

Oh, I liked her. That's a beautiful voice and song!
And hey, why didn't you apply for the swedish Eurovision constest? :D
It would be awesome to see you there singing! hehehehe

    Thanks for posting. Take care!

  16. Dear Anette,

Oh! It was so nice to hear such a beautiful voice like the one she has!. I just closed my eyes and heard the lyrics and escaped, for a minute, from all the noise that came from the street.
So awsome she is going to represent Sweden in the competition!
Here, in Peru we don't have a festival like that, but I think it would be so nice to have one because there are a lot of talented people who just need an oportunity to show what they can do.

    Hugs from Peru.

    Alejandra.

  17. It's really a nice song. But when I first saw her I had to think of the first (and only ;-) ) ESC winner from Germany, Nicole. A blond girl with guitar...of course the swedish singer looks much more modern ;-) and you can't compare the music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbYcw8zwnko&feature=related
