Bowling

So, today we went for an hour of bowling and it went well. I am really not so good at it but its fun and a good thing to do together as a family;=)

(photos borrowed from www.aftonbladet.se)

Today they said in our newspaper that this winter is the coldest one here in southern Sweden during 23 years so I guess we are not so used to the cold and snow;=) I need to move to Alaska to make the body resist the bugs if the winters will continue like this...brrr...

  2. Hej Anette, glad to hear that you had some fun today, along with your family. :)
And this winter really sucks! Here it's been ages since it wasn't so cold, and when you think it will be a bit better, it stay only for a few days before becoming cold again... We even had a little bit of snow earlier this afternoon!
Curently, i'm trying to calm myself with Brother Firetribe's Heart full of fire lp (love it!), i really love this cd (and your vocals on the title song are stellar!).

    *hugs*

  4. The weather is really weird, is not it? There in Sweden this being the year with the coldest winter and here in Brazil, according to some news programs, being the warmest year that we've ever had. Here where I live it is hard to sleep because of the heat. The planet Earth is becoming more and more strange. =O
Oh, yesterday I saw a news saying that Sweden is a world model of sustainability. According to the news, Sweden is increasingly concerned with preserving the environment and even with the harsh winter, you can plant all the wood they need and therefore do not harm the environment to get wood. I found this news very interesting and wanted to share with you, that is my favorite Swedish =)

Well, have a nice evening and all the best for you and your family.
    Hugs from Brazil =)

  6. Ow yes bowling, it's been a while for me, I like it, but I'm also not that good..sometimes :-D

I read that you aren't sure for your solo album to release it, well I hope you do, I'm really interested! A lot of us are, maybe that can convince you? (Hope so!)

This friday I'm going to the cinema again (I love it ha :D), it will be the movie 'Wolfman'. Ever heard of it? It's a thriller, don't know if you like that?

  7. Hej Anette. Glad you had a wonderful afternoon with your loved ones! I like bowling and here in my city will soon open a bowling center! Yeah!
Here in Germany is already almost 3 months continuous snow and ice! A hard winter. It should here be the hardest winter of all times!
And especially all say on the news that there is still no end!
On some days, I fear that it never stops. I had nightmares.

Perhaps revenge now for all the earth pollution. I'm afraid.

    What do you think?

    Have a nice day rest..

  9. Hei Nettie,
Sorry I haven't posted here for so long. I had to go into hospital for surgery. Hope you have been well.
You should get a Wii console, then you can play bowling at home without having to go out into the cold.
    Stay warm!
    *hugs*
    Sari.

  11. Hello again =)
I need to talk a little and as I am alone in my home now, I decided to make another comment here =)
It is really stressful when other people try to control our lives, right? As you know I'm looking to buy a car and, as I do not know much about mechanics, I decided to ask for help from some relatives of mine. The problem is that they insist to impose their taste to me. I have a favorite type of car (I like big and comfortable vehicles) and any time they insist that I buy another I do not like(little and uncomfortable ). The car is for me and not for them, the only thing I wanted was a help to know if the vehicle is in good condition and not that they pressurize me to choose a car model that I do not like. I do not like people press me and try to influence my decisions, this is really very stressful for me.
If people knew to respect the wishes of others the world would be so much better, agree? =)
Sorry for my long and boring comment, but i need to talk with someone.
    Enjoy the evening
    Hugs from Brazil =)

  12. Bowling is so fun. It's been a long time I don't play that.
And sorry to hear about the cold weather over Sweaden. I like cold, but too much cold, or too much heat, is sucks sometimes.
And while is snowing right there in Sweden, it has been raining a lot aroung here, a lot! I want fall comes soon, so that the storms will calm down.
Wish you a have a wonderful evening, lots of warm hugs from Brazil.

  13. I'm very bad at bowling too :D I just can't get the ball into the right place. It always goes to the sides. But the shoes are cool! :D
I'm so sick of this winter. Now I really want this snow melt away since I want to ride a bike again..

  14. Winter is so awful here too. We have so much snow it's even hard to walk, today it took me 20 minutes to cross a park that I would've normally crossed in 7.
I just wish it would melt soon, even though that would mean it would be muddy all over the place, and spring was here already.

Hope you're feeling better after that fever you had. Take care and keep yourself warm! :)

  15. @Bonome: Your comment was quiet right and it was of course not boring. Nice that you think like I think !

    You're from Brazil, right?
My friend and his sister are from Brazil too.
And I was a long time ago a big big Brazil fan..hihi

    Have a good evening !

  16. Hey, it's not so bad as you imagine! It's only -8 (we have -11 now) and believe me that's quite hot! XD I mean, our winter and european winter are totally different things. For example, it's good to be an animal protector in a country where winters are warm (0, -5, not more) but here in Moscow half of the city wears fur and I perfectly understand them. The chill gets everywhere, you're constantly caughting, with red nose and cold in the head. No jackets save, and you have to work, study, be okay... Brrr, I wish this winter to end and NOW, I'm really tired of it.
My university studies have just begun and my mom took a decision to go to Egypt by a week "hot tour". Hopeless, I asked to take me with her (sea, sea, how i miss the sea and warmth, damn!) and suddenly she agreed if it's okay to miss the university. Now I have to figure it out and quickly, hope that it's nothing bad in spending week for the health as I have real problems with it, nose breathing especially. But I can't understand that fucking feeling inside that whispers that nothing is set up yet...
I've also finally got time to practise a bit in singing, as I feel so uncomfortable when parents are at home. I've never had lessons and never attended musical school (thanks to my mom :P), but I just love it and catch every free moment to sing. Today I suddenly understood that my voice diapason and strength increased a lot and that was a pleasant surprise. I hope one day I'll be able to take up classes...
Ah, perfect. My intuition right, as always. No sea. Too expensive. Told mom to go alone.

Take care, dear Nettie, watch your immunity! It's quite weak as I understood while reading your blog, you often fall ill, that's no good!
With love from the colder country,
    Kira=)

  17. Hi Anette,
I don't think moving to Alaska is going to help you since it is worse up there with the cold and snow. The bugs will just give up and hide instead. We are getting dumped on tonight into tomorrow with snow here in the states with 18 to 24". I believe that you need the tropics. That is the ultimate cure to any cold weather:)Have a great evening......
    love Fernando

  18. Hi Anette :)
God it does sound cold there! I thought it was cold here! That said, I actually love the winter though, partly because I have loads of allergies in the summer and it's horrible :(

  19. Dear Anette,

yeah bowling is nice with friends and family!
I have played a few times and I'm not good at it either.

It must be really cold over there too.....but no please don't go to Alaska....brrrrrr!!!
Here in Romania they have also announced that it is the coldest winter in the last 25 years, there were even -35 degrees!

    Love,
    Herta

  20. You're right! What's with the weather these days? In winter, extreme cold and in summer no way to walk under the sun because of the hot.

Maybe all is related to the climatic change? Only time will tell us.

    Take care, big hugs =)

  21. @César: next summer, come to see me in Saint Malo, past summer we barely had more than 18/20°c (i think we had 22°c a couple of time)... It was so cold that it was hard to stay in t-shirt, even in the middle of the day. And no, i do not live in a Nordic country, it's in Saint Malo, Brittany, somewhere in France! :p

  22. Yes they say that about here in Denmark too! Back in my home country in America it is extra cold in a lot of places. It's so strange!

I hope that bowling was a good experience. I like it because you don't need to be good to have fun! Take care! Keep warm!

  23. Here in Brazil this is the hottest summer of all time! And I'm from southern Brazil, a region generally colder ..

  26. I love bowling ^.^ Though it really depends on the day and luck for me. Sometimes I do really well and other times not so good. It's always fun either way, I'm glad you're enjoying your time with your family.

You wouldn't believe what happened today. I was up all night finishing homework for one of my classes and getting a website up and running. Three coffees and a couple of sugary snacks later I finished most of what I needed to do and passed out somewhere around 8 in the morning, thinking that I would get an hour or so of sleep, get up, quickly finish everything up, and head off to school at noon.

I got woken up by my b/f at 12:30pm (that's when class starts), only to find out what time it was, but also the fact that our school just got closed for the rest of the day because of the coming snow storm. No class. So the all-nighter was essentially for nothing -.-'' Go figure.

Anyways, going to go finish up some things for tomorrow. Hope you're having a good day!
