Oh My! Johan just told me that when I wrote that Nemo is ill and "under the water" that wasn't the correct expression...;-)
Apparently it should be "under the weather" :-)
So now you know what I meant and I got myself a nice laugh over my mistake:-)
Sleep well!

It is nice to know that Nemo is merely sick, instead of drowning ;) Either way, I hope that he feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteHaha!Nice one ;=)
DeleteHi Leia, guess the mistake is something to due with her blind love for Captain Nemo and the sea/water!!! lol

I didn't even notice it! haha! It's an odd expression we have in the English language anyway. :P
ReplyDeleteOk, but it was 10 June 2011!!!!!
ReplyDelete"Have gotten a bug in my throat and it has made me not able to run this week and I am taking it easy. Nemo also has it so we are both a little bit under the water."
Is the mistake something to due with your blind love for Captain Nemo and the sea??? ;=P
Funny! I didn't know the expression but after I looked it up in a dictionary I had to laugh too. ;-) It's so sweet that you are able to laugh over your own mistake. There are so many people who take themselves so serious. =)
ReplyDeleteHope Nemo is feeling better today.
Big hugs,
Steffi <3
I don't think I saw that post. If I did I might have corrected you. It doesn't matter, though. We all make mistakes. I'm sure I make a lot of mistakes with the Swedish language. That's why I am always nervous to talk in Swedish when I'm in Sweden.
ReplyDeleteHope Nemo feels better soon.
Anette :) I knew what you meant when I read it and thought it was a sweet mistake from you. NIce to know that he is under the weather and not under the water though - thats a relief!! :D
ReplyDeleteBe well.
