Whitney

Woke up at 7 and opened my IPhone to read Aftonbladet. First headline just made me so shocked! Whitney Houston dead-48 years young.., It's so tragic and for me, who has been singing Whitneys songs in talent shows when I was a teenager and have been inspired by her way of singing, I just think its so tragic:-( Whitney was one of the biggest voices and the world lost someone special this weekend.,, So sad for her family. Rest in peace, Whitney... - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

  3. Aye. I got a notice on the tele when it happened. It is a shame when folk are lost so early.

  6. So sad. Such talent and so young.

She influenced so many singers of our generation. I used to sing to her records in my teens as I was learning to sing.

    Rest In Peace, Whitney.

  8. Yes, it's a real tragedy.
I remember myself, years, years and years ago, in a big music store, looking for "I will always love you". I had heard it the day before and absolutely wanted a copy. Even if I have this sweet memory, her songs and everything, it's sad and unfair when a person leaves us this way. I hope she is in a better place now.
A lovely hug to all of those who loved her.

  12. I wasn't so shocked because I think all those very sad lives end in a tragic way. It was the same with Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse. I wished she would have had a more happy life. That's the thing that makes me sad.

Please don't be sad, Nettie. I think for persons like Whitney it's good when they can pass away. I hope that it's better for her now and that her soul can find peace.

  14. She was my "first place" favourite female singer.
She now is a musical legend.

  15. I remember some disc cover on what is,was on that now three or four women - may been just three but Celine was one of them and that may been some diva thing.I haven´t watched that and I don´t actually know Whitney otherwisely either. And though if I would know,I don´t know would I knowhow to say still any special.

If though on work has been some difficult case, might have had to give up for one for now...a little depending about case too.Is little challenging for one to try to combine so many things - thinking that to do things is quite often after working day too.My be on net is different than what that was before but that still goes little by job if thinks many hours per day or more,I would say more like then when thing is strange and after little longer time I feel that I´m not just here - well, although that hasn´t bothered so much.

So,at this moment I feel relatively good though still a little bit numb - so if tomorrow would be then somekind.Round came to do though power was little bad and had to be also little careful too.

    So,good evening continue

Whitney went like so many of us too early and lonely.
But one should always keep the good things from an in memory.
I have also liked some of her songs are you part of my own memories.
May she rest in peace now.
