And about the nail polishes of essie, how I loved the colors. My favourite one is Sexy Divine (I think this is the correct name), I love purple since I was born *-*. Here in Brazil we have lots of options of nail polishes and I can't see that I buy haha..my mom always say:"you have just 10 fingers and 10 nails, why you buy so many nail polishes?" haha..but I can't control myself. And I would love to send you some brazilian nail polishes, if you want some one day, just tell me, alright? =D.
So my dear, I hope Johan enjoy the tour and it passes so fast, cause missing someone we love is the worst feeling at all.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you happened to post about Cathedral Walls, because it has been stuck in my head for about a week now! I seriously can't get enough of it. And the video is so beautiful and tastefully done. The flag girls and the band and the couple blend so well with each other...it's simply amazing. So yeah, just wanted to say thank you for this. This is by far my favorite collaboration you've done outside of Nightwish (but I love them all anyway)!
P.S. Is there a reason that you weren't included in the video? It looks like Swallow the Sun wanted to use those two as main actors, but Mikko still sings his own parts and you don't. Just wondering = )

ReplyDeleteThe song´s not available in Germany due to GEMA... But I think I´ll look for it on YouTube later this day. I´m longing for some more songs of you that I actually like - so sorry, I´m just not a fan, but I love "October and April" with the Rasmus and "Storytime" with Nightwish.
Such a pity Pain and Swallow the sun won´t come to my home-town... Not a fan of them, either, but if they came here or to Hanover I would have tried to go to the concert. Concerts always are great. Or at least most of them, I´ve seen one or two quite ... bad ones.)

I wish I had enough money! But yeah I've been to nightwish this year and I'm going to buy a evening dress(I still din't found one) I hope you can help! Great package, Pain + Swallow the Sun! Swallow the Sun are awesome! I love their guitar lines, specially in Lights On The Lake. They have awesome music for rainy days. Their female singer, Aleah, has this awesome project called Trees of Eternity. Fans of doom will like it. :)

You know that feeling, when there's an artist, coming to your country for ONE show... and exactly on that date, you got a birthday. Yes. That just happened to me with the Pain.... sigh... haha

ReplyDeleteYoy asked me if I can go to Paris to see them, unfortunately no cause I'm going to Finland tomorrow for the Premiere and I'm going back on the 11 around midnight, then on the 12th I spend the day at the hospital and the show is on the 13! Its too close! :'( And Paris is at 900 km from where I live :(
BUT ! And now I'm sure you're gonna laught, I tell you how was yesterday evening...
Pain arrived on stage and the first song was ... I'm Going In! They did it! Michael was looking at me as to say "that one is for you", it was awesome and I lost my neck during Pain! And now I'm in Pain (ok it was a bad one :D)
Anyway it was wild!
After the show we waited, hoping to see them to say THANK YOU! After a while Peter, Andre and David arrived! They stayed with us around 30min-one hour with us. Peter said "Hey that song was specially for you, as you asked, hope you liked it blablabla it wasnt so good for ;y troat but with the second song it was already all fucked up anyway!" hehe!

Then we were talking and suddenly, technicians and roadies arrived by runing with a speaker playing GANGNAM STYLE! Dear God! They all started to danse, Peter was laughing, us too! We were just so surprised, heavy metal guys dansing Gangnam Style! Then Peter started to danse too! Of course I recorded it! I'm gonna put it on youtube or what so you can see that!
After that, we talked again, and I'm now officially invited as a guest by Peter and David if I want to go to see them! Yeahhii so I thnik I'll go to the UK tour! I hope you'll be there! =)I just miss Pain so much now. And I'm actually more excited about Pain than about Nightwish...strange feeling!
Oh and Andre was drunk again, so funny cause when he is drunk he suddenly got a really acute voice!

I've never listened to this song before, but it's wonderful! I don't listen to much in this genre but now I feel quite tempted to hear more of Swallow the Sun! Your performance here is blissful as always... the best thing I find about your voice is its versatility, and how you can change your voice to perfectly suit the song. It sounds so sweet and pure here, it's a delight!

Oh, I used to listen a LOT Bye/die when a was getting divorced... It really felt like it was me who wrote that song, but yeah... My absolut favourite PAIN songs are: Bye/die, Not your kind, Tear it up, My misery, Nailed to the ground, Walking on glass, Fear the demons, Crawling thru bitternes... And MANY more. And PAIN is amazing live band!! I have seen them four times.

ReplyDeleteActually in 2008 when i saw Pain was your support I searched them on youtube and found Zombie Slam. And I hated it! I thought "oh no its gonna be long, 30min with them before NW" and when they arrived on stage, playing Eleanor Rigby I was "wooooooowwwwwww" totally hypnothised by them and I fell in love for them at that second! Since Nightwish and Pain are my 2 realllllyyyyyy favourite bands. The only ones for who I can travel the world to see them.
And yes I really want to see them on stage as headliner! Its gonna be great! I send a message to David via Pain facebook, so now Im just waiting for him to answer when he have time! And let organize the trip!
