Happy monday;=)

Hi all and a very happy monday to you!

A new week and a little bit closer to christmas;=) Nice!

I want to thank you all who commented on my post 'How come" and the weight issue. A hard topic and not any easy solution but nice to read that almost all of you agree;=)

Today I think me and Johan and Nemo need to go to IKEA to get Nemo a bigger bed. He is to tall for his baby bed now so before Johan leave for his tour on thursday we need to see if we should buy a new bed. We´ve been thinking this one might be a good choice:
I like the white color and the high sides so he won't fall out during the nights;=)

  1. Hii,

Haha I bought my bed at Ikea as well... hhaha

What I wanted to ask; I'm at the start of my examweek, so I'll have two tests a day. I'm damn nervous for it, so I was wondering is you know something that can make you less nervous...

    Xx

  2. Elize: Hi and wow, a hard week for you;=( Well, I believe in positive thinking and seeing what you want to accomplish in your head beforehand. So see before you that you will make it;=) And an important thing: put reachable goals and know that no matter what, you did GOOD ENOUGH;=) Good luck!

  4. Good morning dear Anette!
My boyfriend and I love to go and wander about Ikea as well, even if we don't need anything in particular, but some little candle, picture frame or other accessory always makes it into our shopping bag. ;=)
The bed you chose is really pretty and with the white colour, some of Nemo's colourful bedlinen will look really great in it. And you're right about the high sides, little kids often fall out of bed at night, so better to be on the safe side! ;=)
    Enjoy your day!

  5. 'Happy Monday', I'm trying to think of how I can be a smart arse, but I am failing miserably.... Ha. I slept through most of my day, I had trouble sleeping last night, nightmares and all that crap.

There may not be an easy solution to the topic of the post 'How come', but the fact that you are posting about social issues is better than simply not talking about them, the more we actually discuss particular issues and possible solutions or at least ways to try and combat particular issues the closer we will come to actually dealing with the particular issue.

Hope you have a lovely day dear Anette, take care.

  9. Good morning Anette and happy monday to you too! :)

We have our own version of IKEA here, called ARGOS which is where we got 80% of our furniture (since we are poor students and need to save all the money we can haha!).

Today I also had plans to travel back down to London and see Nightwish at Brixton, but when I heard the news I decided I simply wouldn't be able to enjoy the concert unless the whole band was there. Floor is a great singer, but I wanted to hear you perform the songs. Ah well, I have tickets to see Epica in december so hopefully that will cheer me up.

    Have a lovely day!;) Jamesx

    1. I nearly decided not to go as well for the same reason, but it wouldn't have been fair on the people I was going with and I wanted to see Pain anyway!

    2. Thanks for replying!
Johan is SO right! I would have done the same thing!
I have to say I would have love seeing him again on stage but I prefer to know he supports you and stays with you at home :)
And I'll go to see Pain on stage, I mean a "real" pain show, not as a support to any band :)

Oh and during the NW I was just holding my necklace (i showed you a link) so strong. As strong as I miss you. When Ghost love score started I was like "noooo i dreamed to see Anette singing it again and now its someone else".
Anyway, be back soon ! :)

      Love and hugs!

  16. Hi Anette,

Exactly this bed in the picture has my little sister. My parents bought it for her a month ago and her bed is not in a white colour but there is a NEMO on it. You know, the film called NEMO about fish. But what I want to tell you. I definitely recommend you to buy it. It is really worth it and you won't be disappointed. I know it, because my parents are totally satisfied with it.

    Take care Anette,
    Martin.

  17. Oh, I love IKEA ;-) Before my vegetarian life and everything, my family and me would go there just to have a Hot Dog and shop some decoration. But since my brother´s 14 now and thinks it´s not cool to spend time with family, and I don´t eat meat, we don´t do this anymore... It´s a pity.
I hope you had fund and found a nice bed for Nemo!
    Love, Betty

  18. Hei Anette :)

Betty; Hi! IKEA is great cause its also so cheap to eat there. Good if you have a big family;=) Maybe you can eat a cake instead? We didn't go today, we were to tired so we´ll take it tomorrow or wednesday instead.

Martin; Hi! And wow, she has one with NEMO on it? I want that too;=) did you paint it like that or? Cool;=)

Meghan: yeah, keep away from the horror tonight;=) Maybe watch Desperate housewives or something easy-going instead;=)

Unknown: hi and oh, I didn't know this! Was it these last days it happened? I´ll check the internet and see if I find an article of it or do you have any link where I can read about this? Such a horrible thing;=(

DarkQueen; yeah, its great to have it close by;=) We have it 10 min away and we are there to buy candles quite often in the winter time. They have great candles and to a good price!

Sofi: Yeah, he will have fun in Europe with them;=) And now he got some extra days with us at home, which we love;=)

Oceane: Hi! Oh, you´re so sweet;=) But good that you went and watched Pain, they are great! And I hope Peter feels better tonight! If you talk to him, say hi from me;=)

  20. Elize: Great job!!! I always just go for approved, don't know how you grade there, but the grade you need to pass;=) Then IF I get a higher grader thats a plus! Good luck with the next one!;=)

Philippa; Hi! yeah, its much bigger than his baby bed, but he´s such a tall boy so we feel he is to big for the crib now;=)

Sofi: Pain is best, so good you went to see them;=) Go Sweden! hehe!

  22. Good evening Anette and thank you very much for answer. Neither me nor parents painted it. You made me laugh =) They simple ordered it via internet. I'm posting here a link. It's a czech website so it will be difficult for you to read, but there are lots of picture.

  23. Hi Anette, in reply to the anon who mentioned the boy who committed suicide in the Netherlands:
It was a 20 year old boy who had been bullied all his life, and finally he couldn't take it anymore. He wrote a suicide note addressed to his parents in which he said something like: "I'm very sorry, please don't hate me, but I just can't go on like this anymore". The parents added this part of his suicide letter to his obituary in the newspaper, which shocked people all over the country. It was widely discussed on Facebook and Twitter today, as well as on the national news on tv. It's horrible what happened to that boy, and so tragic that he decided to take his own life. By printing part of his suicide note, his parents wanted to draw attention to the fact that things like these happen way too often and that society as a whole needs to be aware of the terrible effects that bullying can have.

He was doing well in school and was training to be a history teacher. My heart goes out to the family of the poor boy, especially his parents.

I hope that helps to clarify it.

  24. Philippa: Hi and thanks for telling the story. Its just so sad and I understand the parents decision of printing it. There need to be focus on these things and the only way is to tell the stories. And not only the stories of the ones who decided to leave this life, but everyone who is bullied and harassed daily in school, in the internet and among adults. Its a hard world but no one should have to live life like he did and many others. I am so sorry for his family and I hope they can find peace someday. Thanks again for sharing this!

Liutasil; Oh, I want one of those beds!! Sooo cute;=) Such a shame its not a site shipping to Sweden;=( Well, l´ll see if I can find a similar one in another place;=) Thanks for sharing! And thanks for your kind words about me;=) I believe being honest and tell the truth is the only way to live life for me. Sleep well!

  28. Hi Anette, just out of curiosity but didn't Johan declare not to buy anything from IKEA after a few choice words when putting together a furniture piece from IKEA? Hmm?

Good luck with your new bed for Nemo. :)
