We´re up...

...ready to go to Malmö this morning for a little meeting. Nemo is going to my mum while we´re there and he is longing to see her again;=) Nemo says every day that he wants to go to "Na-na" which is his word for mormor (grandmother). So today, the first thing I said this morning was: - today you´re going to Na-na and he answered: - jaaaa (Yes;=)

So a perfect day for him today!

And I was happy when I woke up and saw how USA voted. Congrats Barack Obama;=)

Enjoy your day my dear ones!;=)

  1. This was also the first thing I did this morning, turn on the TV to see if Barack made it. ;=)
Have a nice day in Malmö, I went there this summer with my Mum as part of our holiday we spent in Copenhagen, after you've been telling us how much you love this city I got curious and wanted to go there myself. ;=) And you were so right, it's a really cool city! ;=)
    Enjoy your day!!

  3. I call my grandmother Nana :D

    On top of Obama winning:
Tammy Baldwin became the first openly gay US senator.
Medicinal marijuana became legal in my state.
Gay marriage became legal in a few more states.
Those congressmen/senators/whatever who wanted to redefine rape got ousted.
There is now a democratic majority, so the President should be able to do more.

And I just found out that Obama means "little shore" or "little beach" in Japanese.

Saw a funny picture of a sign outside a diner.
Obama burger: $8, comes with fries and coke
Romney burger:$50, comes with no rights for women

    I feel very relieved.

  4. Hi Anette! :-)
I'm sure Nemo will love his day with his grandmother. I know that the day I will have children they will also love to stay at my mom's place. Kids love their grandmothers so much! :-)
I'm leaving on Friday from Belgium to attend the Imaginaerum movie premiere in Helsinki. Is there a chance we will see you there?
No matter what happened between you and the guys remember this is also YOUR movie and I'm sure you will shine in it :-)
I'm keeping that little spark of hope that you will also be there to watch the movie :-)
Take care and enjoy your day :-)

  5. I can honestly say that as a Florida voter, I am so glad I voted for Barack Obama. I am a committed student, and a good education costs big money.

I wasn't born with the ability to pay for college without fearing how I will manage to pay for it. I wasn't born with the ability

It isn't too much to hope that I can receive aid in order to get my education, so that I, as an aspiring teacher, will be able to give back to the community that has given so much to me.

On top of worrying about college, due to a genetic flaw, I will need healthcare as long as I live. Obama has fought tooth and nail to try to help people like me have that ability.

Romney would have taken those things away given the first opportunity.

He's quite a scary fellow, Romney is...

ON A HAPPIER NOTE...I hope you have a lovely day, Anette, and that little Nemo has fun with his grandma.

I miss being able to see my Grandma every day. We live so far away from her now...I can't wait to go to college somewhere closer to home. I'll be visiting her all the time! Tied with my Mama for the best lady in the world, no offense to you, Nettie!

When I was little, Grandma and I used to go out for donuts every Thursday morning, then I'd sit in the salon eating donut holes while she got her hair done. It was our morning out, we almost never missed our Thursday donut break! And every morning, we'd squish up in her favorite armchair and work crossword puzzles. From a very early age, I was reading, and she and I had so much fun solving crossword puzzles and reading the comics in the newspaper. She even watched Scooby-Doo with me! Grandmas are THE BEST.

From experience, I can say, grandmas are to be cherished, never take Grandma for granted. As long as you live, you'll never meet anyone like her. I am actually named after my Grandma. My middle name is her first name. A name that I wear with pride...Grace.

It sounds like Nemo loves his Grandma, too! :D Have a lovely day, all of you. It's a good day across the entire world, I think. We've kept a terribly scary man from gaining power that he would not have used wisely.

  10. How sweet! Nemo really does sound like a super cute little kid, loving his grandma so much like that! But it's a natural kid I guess, almost everyone that I know, including myself, was just madly affectionate to their grandparents, being all spoiled and such ;)

Hope you enjoy your day in Malmoe, sounds like Nemo will enjoy his day for sure!

  11. Hi there!
This is a comment not that related to the post you've written. But, anyway, this last few days I had the urge to go back to the Imaginaerium cd that I bought nearly one year ago (in order to ease a troubled mind as good music can make wonders) and I've been listening to it in my car this last few days. But yesterday, I found that you were not the lead singer of Nightwish anymore. Not willing to get into that matter, I just would sincerely and gratefully thank you for the music you made and for your voice on those songs (which, I believe, were a perfect fit). Once again, thanks and keep rockin'!
Cheers from Portugal (in crisis but still proud)!

  14. Hi Anette! ;=)

Such miserable weather over here in the UK for my final day off before I go back to work tomorrow. ;=(

I also like Barack Obama too and am glad how USA voted ;=)

Generally children love their grandparents ;=) I have no memory of this but when I was 2 years old I was sent to live with my grandparents in Chiswick West London for 9 months. This was while my mother was pregnant with my younger twin brothers and they were house hunting too. Anyway, when it was time for me to go back to my parents I didn't want to go ;=)

As a child there is something magical about grandparents ;=) And they give you money too! ;=) Lol!

I hope your meeting went well today Anette and that you enjoy what's left of your day! ;=)

  16. I am happy about the US election too!
A few days ago someone was talking about how you have dry itchy skin and it might be eczema... well, my mom has this and she has found a cream that makes it go away. It is organic but it works really well. I don't know if you would be able to find it in stores in Sweden but there is a website:
    http://lavigneorganics.com/mayan-magic-healing-balm/
Also, is there any chance that you might ever sing with Brother Firetribe? I have watched the live video of you with them so many times and I love it! The smile on your face is so beautiful :)
Anyway, I hope you have a great day!!

  19. Hi, Anette :)
When I read how Nemo was happy to go and see his grandma, I remembered about the time I used to spend at my grandparents' and how happy I was back in the day. Unfortunately, they both passed away long time ago, but I still remember the warm feelings I felt when I was with them, and they will never leave me my whole life no matter what. :-)
I used to stay often with them because my mom and dad were so busy working and I practically was brought up by my grandparents. When I was Nemo's age (or a little bit older maybe) I used to think that granny and grandpa were my actual parents, and mom and dad from the other side - the really cool guys who love me so much and always show up with the nicest presents, but more like older brother and sister to me :-) Hahahaha, I have to confess that it was obvious back in the day that my head would be messed up as an adult as well :-)
Enjoy your evening with your loved ones!
    Big hugs,
    Thea

  20. Hi Anette! I want to ask You if You have any tips for high forehead? Cause I feel like sentenced to bangs. Also I have small receding hair but those are really small. I have long hair but since I decided to let them grow (cause I had very short hair and started growing them when I was about 14-15 years old) I always have this irritating bangs. I need to visit my hairdresser every 3 weeks tocut it a little cause I can't see well. Oh, and also my bangs looks like this one: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VvvQcWhf3DU/Tg_3P0tH_JI/AAAAAAAAAFI/L9a0HX2-rPM/s640/Long+Hair+With+Bangs.jpg
Any idea what can I do?
    Thanks and take care :)

  21. Siren: Hi! Well, I love that hair-do;=) but I also know the problem with having to cut it often. I also have a high forehead and I actually like my hair without a bang so I am sure you can have it long all together, like I do. Be proud of your high forehead, many models have that, like Tyra Banks and its really nice;=)

Thea: Hi! Yeah, its nice to remember your grandparents. I also have really warm memories from my childhood spent with them;=)

Brianna; Hi and the same to you;=)

Laetititanne: Hi and thanks;=) The apple is nice and there is even a cooler apple scene in Scareteale where I bite it. Was fun to film that part;=)

Oceane: Hi and thanks for saying hi to Peter from me;=) And great you met them all! I haven't met André but Johan says he´s a really nice guy;=) And fun that he spoke Swedish with you! haha! You should say: tyst med dig fyllo! next time;=) It means: Shut up you drunk! Hehe! Enjoy tonight and Glasgow (I guess you are there;=)

Tom: Hi! Yeah, Nemo never wants to leave grandma either;=) Nice!

    Fernanda:Hi and thanks;=)

Sarah; Hi and the same to you, enjoy the day;=)

Pedro: Hi and thanks for your kind words;=) Take care!

Elmas: Hi! yeah, most kids love their grandparents;=) Enjoy this day!

Isa: Hi! I am super fine today;=) Thanks! And great that you are fine too;=)

Arthur; Hi, I will tell him=) And yeah, I still remember my grandparents with great love even if I am 41;=)

Martin; Hi! And say hi to your mum for her kind words;=) And nice that you like our Alyson songs;=) Fun! And yeah, I know Hammerfall very well;=) A fun band! Enjoy this day!

Serafim: Hi! It takes 45 minutes by car to Malmö and we´re driving;=)

Rebekah; Yeah, Obama is a great person and he cares about those who doesn't have the means. Thats a true humanist;=)
And you seem to have a great grandmother;=) I do not have mine any longer in this world but I miss them both forever;=( And yeah, Nemo and his grandmother has a very special bond;=)

Sarah; yeah, grandmothers are special;=) No, i won't be in Helsinki but I hope you´ll have a really nice evening;=)

Halsa: Haha, loved that burger sign;=) Great stuff!

    Elize: Haha;=)

The lost Seafarer; Hi! Yeah, its a great place. Little bad weather today, only bad thing;=( But otherwise a great day!

  24. Hello :) Nice to hear you're having a nice day, and adorable little Nemo too.

On Obama winning, I have never been more disappointed in my life. I am a conservative and it was a huge kick in the teeth to wake up to such news.

    My best wishes, Cat.
