Friday music

Happy friday to you all;=)

Today its friday and the music of today will be from one of the ladies who has inspired me most when it comes to singing. My mum introduced me to Randy Crawford when I was really young and since then I´ve loved her! She sings with such emotion, such tenderness and still powerful. And I can hear every single word she´s singing;=)

Here´s Almaz - so beautiful yet so sad song;

Knockin´ on heavens door - better than the original by far!:

People alone - A young Randy:

One day I´ll fly away:

    Happy friday to you, too!
Thanks for great music! Randy Crawford has really soft voice. It's pleasure to listen to her songs. I'm enjoying them now :-)
How are you and your children? When will Johan come back home?
    Have a great day!

  3. Morning Anette, can't say I've heard of Randy Crawford myself...

But would just like to say today, I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day today with Seth and Nemo ;)

And saying this to everyone who has given me condolences and given me some time to let out some emotion, thank you, has helped a hell of a lot! So thank you for your kind words, it meant a lot to me, and I also showed my parents, and it also meant a lot to them, my Dad even seemed to be tearing up a bit reading what you said. Really cannot thank you enough, yourself, along with my friends have made my grief much easier to cope with, unlike at the beginning of the year when my grandfather (from the other side of the family) passed away, I know I will not be slipping back into depression once I've finished grieving, I know my life is going to get better after 18 months of depression, and I do feel that I am appreciating what I do have so much more.

Thank you, and love you so much, you are just a truly beautiful human being.

    Have a wonderful day!

    xoxo

  4. Hi Anette, and happy friday to you too:)
I've never heard about Randy Crawford, but I like her, thanks for sharing:)
So today I've finally watched Breaking Dawn pt.2 and I must say that I liked it a lot (even though I prefer books too). No long and boring talkings about eternal love (well, just a little bit, a few words:) ), lots of funny moments (or may be we just laughed a lot, hehe) and the final battle is so cool and impressive with some veeery unexpected moments (won't spoil here;)

Have a good day and I hope you'll share your impressions if you watch the movie:)

    Hugs,
    Julia
