A new good place...

... for studded stuff is this one I found yesterday - Vivistyle.se

Since its election in USA these bra´s might be a great way to celebrate or cry over that;=)

Or if you want to celebrate England instead, this is the one for you;=)

And if you just want to be neutral this is a good choice:
If you prefer to wear a really cool leather jacket this is a great choice (and can keep people you don't want close to you away too;=)
 Same with the shoes;=)

But I would like to cuddle up with this on. Great color and length:

  1. If Romney wins than I'd wanna cry, cos we'd all be totally f*cked I reckon. I don't think he will though, he's so out of touch and inconsistant...

Anyway, that leather jacket just makes me think of Rob Halford from Judas Priest :D

And yesterday noticed a comment from you about marrying at some point, thought I'd just say to you about my friends' wedding last month, which was a rock/goth themed wedding, had a purple and black colour scheme (absolutely beautiful!), the bride actually had studs on her wedding dress even, most of us had formal goth or rock clothing on. The reception had separate invitations, which were actually set out like concert tickets with a watermark of Gene Simmons bass and Slash's Les Paul crossing over one another (which I actually designed for them), I'd post a picture if I had my friends' permission, maybe in a couple weeks when they're back from their honeymoon I can show you if they let me :)

Take care and have a lovely day!
    xo

P.S. About your skin, if your hands and fingers are going dry, it is possibly dermatitis, or excema, I have the same problem, which is normally during winter, it's normally due to my hands not being dried properly when I wash my hands, so be weary of that.

  4. Hi, dear friend. Yesterday I saw a thief attacking an old woman at street. I saved her, but the thief hit me a lot (I hit him too). I were so nervous, and after me and the old woman dispended a lot of time in a hospital . I am a History teacher and I know how my country was born and I know what is necessary to resolve our national problems, but our nationals leaders don't care about people. It happens since much time ago. I am revolted. Well, sorry to tell you about this, dear Anette, but I need to talk whit my friend, and you are my blog friend. Kisses and good day.

  5. I LOVE that jacket, I always wanted something like that! And it would look amazing with a girly, flowery dress and some boots or high heels, depends on the occasion.
    The bras are hilarious! :D

  6. Arthur; Hi and oh! Are you ok? And I am so proud of you to interfere and help the old lady!!! that´s just so wonderful and something I think is really important: civil courage! Here in Sweden the discussions have been quite big about the importance to show civil courage and help people who are in trouble and also testify in court as witnesses. So great that you acted!!!
And yes, for me, as being outside of USA I can't understand that so many think there´s no need for a better health care system and higher taxes for rich people and so on, since we have that system here and I am proud of that;=) I do hope the election goes in the "right" way! Take care now and rest!!

Rachel: Hi and yes, I think the bra´s are all fun;=)

Moondance:Hi! Yeah, there are some great and special stuff in these stores that I ilke:=)

Meghan; Sounds like a cool wedding;=) And yes, it is echsema I have.

  9. Anette, you're absolutely right about civil courage. I can understand that discussions on this topic have been increasing again with you in Sweden after that horrible incident in Stockholm where a man passed out on the subway tracks and instead of helping him, another man came by and robbed him and left him on the tracks to be run over by a train.
Stories like that make me totally speechless and I just can't understand how people can be so cold and heartless.
So civil courage is something all of us could use a little bit more of and I think it's just great that Arthur didn't look away but ran to the help of the old lady!!

  10. Arthur, wonderful thing you did, and brave.

Anette, it was awesome! And I thought so. It's bloody annoying, unfortunately I also have psoriasis, which is a skin condition which causes flakey skin and dried out skin, is a bit similar to eczema.

As for the US, I also am shocked by how universal healthcare by many is perceived as something so horrible. But you just look at how media, particularly the right-wing side of the media, I watch some american news programs on politics (The Young Turks and The David Pakman Show), and quite often you will see stories about ring-wing pundits attacking poor people, and doing so much to dehumanise and discredit them, particularly sh*t like labelling them 'welfare queens' and saying they don't want to work, I particularly remember one story where a man insulted a woman for using food stamps saying too her 'I work for my money so people like you can be on food stamps', what this man did not know was this woman couldn't work as she had to be on dialysis for 12 hours a day because she has no kidneys. Absolutely disgusts me hearing stories like that, and it is just incredible that there is such a disregard and even contempt for the less fortunate there.

Also must say the GOP are just crazy, particularly regarding social issues, in particular, women's issues and gay rights, as the GOP does want to overturn the national abortion law, and there have been laws implemented forcing women to be subjected to transvaginal ultrasounds when seeking abortions, and republicans also sponsoring bills which essentially are to redefine rape and put restrictions on who can receive abortions, even to the point of what would quite literally be a 'rape panel', to determine whether or not a woman has been raped and whether or not they will allow her to have an abortion. And as for gay rights, there are states in which a person can be fired from their job simply because they are gay, also the issues of same-sex marriage, in which many are citing their religious belief in their opposition, which is a direct violation of the separation of church and state, a founding principle of the US. Most particularly though on the issue of same-sex marriage is that it protects the families of LGBT people, as well as symbolically saying that LGBT people, their relationships and their families are equal, which is absolutely vital considering the insanely high suicide rate among LGBT youths. I live in Australia and the rate I have seen from the Queensland Association for Healthy Communities was that LGBT youths' suicide risk was 3.5 to 14 times that of their straight counterparts, it's just incomprehensible.
Anyway, I just hope for the sake of my friends there that Barack Obama is re-elected, I've already jokingly told my best friend who lives in New Jersey that we should just bolt to Canada if Romney's elected there and if (when seems more likely) Tony Abbott is elected in Australia (racist, misogynistic, homophobe for Prime Minister here, oh f*ck!).

Anyway, sorry for the rant, but I am quite passionate when it comes to social issues.

Anyway, have a lovely day Anette :)

  11. Shame these bras have to be hidden under layers of clothing, they are far to cool for that! ;=)

And since you were talking about your favourite bathroom products yesterday, I was wondering if you could tell us what your favourite foundation/make-up is?! Because your skin always looks so flawless but still natural when you're wearing make-up. ;=)

Enjoy this day and take care!

  12. Hello Anette! These bras are very cute. I just wish I had the courage to pull something that glitzy off :P And yes I did go out and vote and I encourage every one of your American fans here to do so as well. Your voice counts! And this is kind of off topic, but I was wondering how your were progressing with your running. I know you had said before about possibly doing a marathon or something of the sort. Will that be a possibility in the spring?? I know you can do it!!! Thanks for all the time you put into this blog for us. I look forward to it every day. <3

    Love, Alison

  15. Hey ;-)
Oh no, all this studs... I´ve been just wondering, is there no difference in English language? In German we call the studs on the first four bras "Pailetten" and the others "Nieten", I don´t know if there´s a difference in English... I don´t even know why I ask myself. I guess I just do everything so I won´t have to prepare for biology-test and synopsis presentation tomorrow ^^ It´s just too much stuff to do now... I´m so lazy.
    Whatever.
    Have a nice day!
    Love, Betty

  20. Rivka. Hi! yeah, I love that one too;=) looks so cosy!

Beto: Hi and the same to you:=)

Anastasia: Hi and yeah, I thought they had some nice stuff there=)

Cleo: Hi! I use a kind of BB cream I got in Sephora in NY. Its called Pér-fekt and are not sold here;=( But a great one, if you get a hold of it!

Betty:; Study, my lady!!!;=) Hehe No, kidding;=) Well, I guess they are called studs and then other bra´s here would be called sequins;=)

Domenik: I actually wonder too;=) but I think its some young bloggers and so on that are opening these cool stores and thats great;=)

Youzuki; Moi! Mitä nyt?;=) Well, my Finnish is quite limited, but when Johan speaks I can understand bits and pieces so well, some words I know;=) And of course there should be Swedish and Finnish bra´s too;=)
    Hyvää yötä!

Allison: I agree, everyone should wore since it is such a close run for the both candidates and each vote can be the one that makes a difference!
And I don't think I can do any marathon in the spring, need to run more and now I´ve not been running since I came home from USA. But maybe tomorrow if I feel ok;=)

Sabine; Hi! At the moment I use a kind of BB cream from Sephora called Per-Fekt and its great! Otherwise I use Make up Forever and Dior Nude. Love them both!

Meghan: I think its great you are passionate about this and if I lived in USA I would be worried if the side I wouldn't wore for wins. It will be a disaster for many people. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

The lost seafarer: yes, thats just a horrible story and the robber has been deported from Sweden.

DarkQueen: Hi and thanks;=) I think its because we have such a big fashion blogging thing going on here. There are so many fashion blogs and young driven ladies who open stores with their own brands and so on. Fun!

Magda: Hi! Your outfit choice sounds perfect to me;=) Great choice!
I don't run at the moment and if I run it will be in the gym at the tread mill until the weather is warmer;=)
