...sounding in the hallway....
That what was woke me up at 6.30 this morning when Seth came to our room and said there was a strange noice in the hallway. Or as I thought he meant, the stairway outside our apartment. I woke Johan up and sent him with Seth to check it out (yeah, I am the woman here so men need to fix it;=).
After a while I heard the sound too - pip, pip, pip every 10 seconds. Understood then that it had to be one of our smoke detectors whose batteries were ending. Puh! Relieved that it wasn't something worse than that, I fell asleep again and had such bad dreams and intense dreams all morning, that I didn't wake up until 10.50!! Ooops, guess I was tired;=)
So now my day got cut in half and I need to step it up so we get something done here today before we´re gonna leave the kids at mum´s place and then have our date night;=)
Enjoy your lovely friday;=)

Good it was nothing serious!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day and above all a super evening with Johan! Hope you'll have a lot more soon!
Love & Hugs!
I love the picture ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd you´re right, as long as they can do it, the men should fix things ^^
Have a nice day!
Always a pain when smoke detectors are making noises when the batteries are low, but definitely good it wasn't something worse :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had some bad dreams, but at least you did get some sleep though, I only slept for an hour, for some reason my arm was aching, was very painful. Seems tonight I won't be sleeping either, my grandmother who is very ill's condition has deteriorated dramatically and there is only a small chance of her pulling through....
And I'm sure you and Johan will have a great night tonight ^_^.
Take Care
And thanks for putting with my whiny crap.
xo
Just make sure it wasn't one of those dark menacing evil blimps coming up the stairs to do you and your family evil! Make sure you warn Johan of blimps that go bump in the night! Haha :^)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day and a great evening!
Have fun tonight, Anette. I wish you a wonderful evening. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Steffi <3
Haha glad to hear it wasnt anything bad,but sorry about the bad dreams. :-(
ReplyDeleteHave a great night with Johan!
We're having a really similar day ;) I woke up late.. around 10.30 which is bad cause I had a doctor appointment I missed! But I was very sleepy with being a bit ill. Now I'm getting everything prepared to take my son to my mums house while me and my husband go on a sort of date weekend to the city where we first met ^_^ I have loads to get done first though! Need to go buy an outfit and get a bit pampered. But also leave the house nice for when we come home.. and so our kitty is happy while we're gone :) I love the Essie shades you're wearing, I usually wear OPI but may look for some essie in town today. Hope you and Johan have a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteYep, isn't it sweet that some nw-anette fans aren't going because they miss you? =)
ReplyDeletehaha yeah sometimes you are quite hard on people but I love your personality;=) often stubborn
touchy and prickly, 'cause you are a sensitive girl.
kisses,
Poochie
haha, first I thought that he may have seen a ghost, Halloween is not so long ago after all.;-) I'm glad it was all harmless!
ReplyDeleteI know it is a little bit late for a Halloween question, but do you believe in paranormal things of any kind?
All the best and have a great weekend!
YEAH, Let's leave to the men the scariest things HAHA
ReplyDeleteAh it's a good thing you rest and sleep a little bit more today, you can be up until later and not feel tired!
Poor Seth, I hope he slept again too, I was up all night but I was being a baby sitter haha my life isn't easy LOL
You and the brave man Johan enjoy your dinner and the concert, hope you guys have lots of fun :D I can't go out tonight because it's a holiday here and i have to respect and stay at home due folk/beliefs and probably because if I go out and be a rebel I'm gonna be kicked out of my family haha so you guys enjoy the night for me ;D
Lots of love for you guys!
Have a nice day!
It's very scary when we hear weird sounds suddenly( especially at night or as in your case: early morning). I'm glad that this story ended well ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice friday!
We had that too when I was like 8 years old but then that beeping sound like there was real fire and also the light was flashing on and off so I realy got scared and screamed. I thought our house was on fire. So I ran downstairs where I found out there wasn't any fire at all.
ReplyDeleteI had four houres of school today. So I'm already home for 30 mins and went to school around 9.30am. I have to go babysitting in 3hours til 20.30 and have to work tomorrow from 8.00 til 12.30 and after that babysitting again! No weekend for me D;

ReplyDeleteDear Anette, today is holiday in my country. I don' t work today, but today... washing my dogs! They are nervous! Kisses and enjoy your friday!
ReplyDeleteHi dear Anette,
ReplyDeleteat this sound of the smoke detector is really unpleasant. But it is in an emergency, also awaken every sleeper. In my country from next year, such a smoke detector in each room required. (except in the bathroom and in the kitchen)
I'm sorry that you've been dreaming bad after that.
I wish you a wonderful day.
hugs
Hahaha, I think it's so great of you that you let your boys check out what was going on in the hallway! Being independent is great, but sometimes we should enjoy being a lady. ;=)
ReplyDeleteOhh poor Seth, he was scared? and yeah Johan is the man he have to do the hard work ;)
ReplyDeleteLuckily, it was the smoke detector. And don't worry 10:50 is a good hour to wake up, because after bad dreams I think the body and mind are tired because we waste energy during the sleep, well I think so.
Garfield's gif is so fun! he looks so groovy with his sunglases.
P.S: Thanks for the explanation about the way to dye the eyebrows, was so complete, I had never seen anything like that! =)
Hey Anette,
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking, does Seth speak English or Swedish? Or if he speaks both, which language do you speak with him?
Sorry if I seem nosey, but it just came across my mind :P
Also, I really hate that noise from the smoke detectors! Drives me crazy!
Have fun on your date night! ;-)
Cathal in Ireland :)
My last omment wouldn't send so here it is:
ReplyDeleteWhen I was young we also had a beeping noize in house. I realy gor scared of it so I ran downstairs crying. My babysitter(I was like 8 years old) told me it was nothing and said I could go sleep again.
I went babysitting yesterday but I don't like strange noizes. Today I have to go there again but very long and that is even more scary.
Got to go working now so,
Kisses!
Sabine: Hi! I so understand your fears, its never fun to wake up and hear weird noises, being all tired and not understanding what it is;=(
ReplyDeleteCathal: Hi! He speaks Swedish, since we are swedish;=) but he also speaks some English, since we study that from the age of 8 here in Sweden;=)
July; Hi! You´re welcome;=) Hope you can find something similar to color yours with.
The lost Seafarer; Exactly;=)
Gitte: Yeah, its really important to have these things in your house. Can be the difference between life and death and we also have them everywhere.
Arthur: Oh, nice that you´re having an off day;=) And hope the dogs survive your wash;=)
Dalma: I also love to sleep long, I don't like early mornings. But with children going to school and so on, we wake up quite early in the week days. Around 7 o clock. Then in the weekend between 8 and 9 normally.
Sabine: Poor you, but I hope you earn some money from the babysitting to make up for your lost time;=)
Alina; yes, it is.
Karoline: Yeah, you better stay at home them;=)
Daniel: Hi! Yes, I do. We have had some incidents during the years which has made me believe in the paranormal.
Poochie: Either you love me or hate me, simple as that;=) I am quite easy actually, but yes, sensitive and also very honest to people;=)
Mary Anne;: Oh, bad you missed the appointment but if you feel better now and can go out, maybe it didn't matter;=) hope you had fun!
Brianna: Thanks so much;=)
Steffi: The same to you;=)
David; Haha, no, I don't think so;=) But could had been...;=)
Meghan; I am so sorry for your grand mother;=( I hope you have time to see her and I hope things change to the better. Miracles do happen!
Betty: yeah, they need to do some manly stuff:=)
Oceane: Hi and thanks;=)
Hello Anette! My dogs survived my wash, but I was washed by Chico and Sofia (two BIG BIG dogs that wash me everytime I try wash them). Kisses!!
