I fell asleep for a while and I have some headache and fever now, but no pain in the arm. But the fever and headache is a bit annoying. But I am sure it will disappear in some days.
I bought a new DVD-box today, season 5 of Charmed. I wanted to get Ghost Whisperer but they didnt have that one so since I already have some Charmed boxes I took that one. I love DVD- boxes cause there´s no commercial breaks;=)
Now I am watching a show called "the Choir battle". Its the finals and I havent watched it before but nice entertainment. I dont think its like normal choir singing though, but I understand they need to keep it as easy and entertaining as possible.
In Finland some seasons ago, one choir in their choir battle did Amaranth and they did it really well;=) Here it is, enjoy!

I took yesterday both, swine flu vaccine and that other vaccine as well. Today I have felt so cold all day and very tired + headache from the morning. I guess quite the same as You. Anyway, what I have heard from my friends, this don't take forever.. thank God for that.

I like Charmed better with Paige then
with Pru. The actress who plays Paige,
Rose McGowan, has been on Nip/Tuck for
the past couple episodes!

I'm thinking about doing that instead
of women's choir next year.

they should have done a NW song,

P.S. I laughed a lot at their name - "kuorosota". In Finnish "kuoro" means "choir", but in Russian "krasota" means "beauty". And some people say "kuorosota" to make a funny effect... =)

I really wish your headache and fever go away soon.
Last sunday I woke up with a really hard headache and it ended at the night of monday.
So i went to the doctor and he told me "You have vision problems, no more computer, no too much tv and please go to sleep at 9 pm everyday".
And it have been a hell in life because before that I was going to sleep at midnight(12 pm) and using the computer at least five hours. So my life changed totally just because of a headache.
For that reason I couldnt read your blog and watch videos on youtube and everything related to internet.
But now I see you're ok and that's really nice :)

You have an impelling voice and the story line that is quite intense on the poet and the pendulum song is nice too. I hope you get better with that headache and fever soon. Something kind of similar happens to me whenever I take a little nap: when I wake up I have some headache...that's why I almost never take naps.

Its always so hard to know and take the decisions when it comes to these things, but I feel that since the government has said this flu can be like the "spanish fever" that killed so so many people years ago, its important to try and stop this flu. ReplyDeleteOh, there had been quite a fuss on the forum, about that group doing the cover! I watched it some time ago and I found it pretty nice as well, though sometimes it doesn't sound so good, that's always the risk in a choir, having one or two voices "slipping" aside. But I admire their efforts and of course, love their choice of a song. :D
ReplyDeleteGhost Whisperer is SO awesome! Unfortunately I never managed to watch the last two seasons, since they were never broadcast on TV, but the first 3 were great, I like how romance and sensitivity are blend with a little spookiness.
Hope the fever and the headache go away soon! Anyway it's better to have some symptoms for a couple of hours or a day, instead of suffering of flu for a whole week. Hope you feel better already!
Lissi: I know what you mean, I am also afraid of doctors etc. But I promise you that when taking this vaccine shot, I didnt feel even the needle going in. So you will make it, I promise. It can hurt a bit afterwards in the arm, but I dont feel anything so its different on all of us. One tip is to eat a piece of chocolate or candy before doing it, cause chocolate gives the body a happy-feeling so you can handle pain better. When I gave birth to my son I got this tip and it sure helped. I always eat lots of chocolate when being tattooed too;=) Hugs!

ReplyDeleteDet där avsnittet minns jag faktiskt. En annan av körerna sjöng i ett skede Over the Hills and Far Away, och jag minns att min kompis blev totalt förvirrad då de sade att det var Gary Moores låt. Hon hade trott att Nightwishs cover på den var originalet. :) Nästa säsong skall visst Marco vara en av körledarna? Det kommer att bli intressant!
That 'Choir' thing is the coolest thing ever! I've never seen anything like it - and I'd LOVE to do it - they did 'Amaranth' well - however, I didn't like the way they said 'YOUR' heart - in my opinion, it took away from the brightness of the rest of the piece - but nevertheless, it was good! I liked Charmed at the beginning but then it changed a bit and then it just became a bit worse. But in the beginning it was so great and was one of my favourite series. :)

ReplyDeleteDidn't know you liked Charmed. Personally, I don't like season 5 and the ones which followed. I don't have anything against Mc Gowan, it's about the stupidity of the stories! The first three seasons were much better.
