Stockholm

I am in Stockholm again after some really bad and weird day.... I think this week has been one of the unluckiest for many years...

Yesterday I couldnt fly because of the fever. Then I had the flight booked this morning. Went up, packed the last things and went in to the cab. Half way to the airport I got this feeling in my stomach: do I have my vallet?

Started feeling in my bag, but nothing there...no vallet...!! Said to the cab driver that we needed to turn. I could immediately see that there was no possibility to go home, get the vallet and drive back to the airport in time to catch the flight.

Cursed so many times, so pissed at myself for this clumpsiness... headed back home and had to wait till 2 o clock for the next plane up...

As the boys would have said: Perkele!!!!

But now, dear readers, I am here. No studio today but since the boys are gonna have a gig tonight here and a party, I guess I will head out and check the stores before fixing myself for some party;=) Hmm...maybe it was meant to be like this?

  1. Oh, well that sucks...perkele is right.
I would have been saying it too.
At least you're still looking on the
positive side though! I don't think I could.

Thank you again for your wishes in
my sickness. I puked about 7 times, and then
slept for a couple of hours.
I haven't puked since I've been up, and
I've managed to keep down some crackers and
water- but I didn't go to school.
I didn't want to risk being sick there
and with both my parents working, no one would
be able to come get me.

    Anyway, look of the brightside-
even though you had to wait,
    you now have your wallet,
and you can go out tonight and have some fun!

    Hope your day gets better,
    and try to enjoy it!

    Hugs and love, Katie T.

  2. Hey Anette :)
I'm sorry to hear that, I guess that every normal person has unlucky days, uh?
I consider myself a very unlucky boy, haha. Well, I am glad that at least you are ok.

Perkele...does it means something like "hell" or "oh my god"? This word sounds nice, hehehe.

Have a wonderful afternoon and evening, many hugs.

  3. Awww that sounds like definitely unluckiness! If it's any consolation you're not the only one... I thought I'd avoided any Friday 13th superstitions but it all came to kick me in the ass yesterday instead - I flew off my scooter at 45kph and now have a bruise the size of my head on my leg and can't quite walk. When I hit the ground I was saying words a bit stronger than just 'perkele'... Fun times.

Retail therapy is definitely the way to go! And party hard!

  4. Hola Anette,
Hey I am curious about something. Do you carry a laptop with you or a cell phone during your travels to answer your blogs? And, if I am in America, what time difference would it be from your area? kind of checked it out and it said around 7 hours in the future? That is really cool. Well, have a great day.

  5. Sorry for your bad luck today. Sounds like the kind of thing that would happen to me. I would have been so stressed about it, having panic attacks and saying the F word rather a lot. But I guess these things happen sometimes - that's life I'm afraid. Anyway, at least you're there now.

My mum had the swine flu shot this morning and though she felt OK at first, she suddenly felt tired and has now gone to bed. I know this is to be expected though. Her arm hurts a bit too.

    Enjoy the party!

Wow, sounds like a very weird and unlucky day o_O.
I'm glad to read that your fever is better, so it was good of you to stay at home for a while =).
I hope your luck improves while your in Stockholm and in the studios!!!

I hope and pray to the study gods that I can be so lucky that I can finish a 10 page biology assignment in one night...;p.

Good luck, party hard (but not TOO hard ;')
    Lots of love, Lisa <3

  10. Haha du vill inte säga vad som kommer ut ur min mun när ngt sånt där händer x)....
    Know the feeling!
    Men plånboken...shiet panik!

Men bra att allt är bra nu :)
har grabbarna en gig? Vilka då? O:

    Kram!

  11. Dear Anetter your day reminded me about this quote by Henry Ford:“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.
Have a happy day , i think shopping will make your day fun :)

  15. Dear Anette!
Everything happens for a reason. Or atleast they say it does. I try to convince my self that it is allways like that! :) Hope you had a change of luck soon after that!
    Greetings, Dean.

  18. Good evening dear Anette.

Perkele! I'm sorry that happened to you today, this kind of things make people really annoyed.

Something "alike" happened to me today (maybe Miss Clumsiness has decided to play with us today): Today I had a 3 hour algebra (Maths) class, and I thought it started at 13:30... well, I was there in time and when I step into my classroom, I realize there's no one inside, and lights were off. I was thinking: maybe the professor and the group are in another classroom and I didn't know... and I also thought that there was no class today.

So I walked to the reception and asked the chief of the academy: Could you tell me if Ivan (the math teacher) couldn't come today or if he's in another classroom? And he answers: Let me check...mmm no, everything is like the rest of the days, I'll call him to this cell phone.

Ivan wasn't answering his phone and I was about to leave and suddenly the chief tells me: hold on... I think your class starts at 14:00 instead of 13:30. I couldn't avoid laughing for that clumsiness of mine, so I had to wait half an hour, so I went to a book store and bought a book I had seen long time ago for reading.

Well, I hope things like this don't happen very often :)

    Lots of hugs, take care!

  21. It's so annoying when you start think that did I pack that thing too... And when you realise that you didn't and then you will be late from something important since you have to go home to get it..
One of my dearest hobbies is photographing. I feel weird if I don't have camera with me. I always take my camera with me because you never know when you need it (you see a beautiful scenery and you wish you had the camera). Last week I traveled to my childhood home (distance between it and my present home is an hour of driving) and then in the middle of the travel I remembered that I forgot my camera home! And since I was traveling by bus I couldn't exactly ask the driver to go back.. I know this situation is nothing compared to your vallet but it's the same principal here too.

    Ingen rolig kombination direkt :(

  24. I did that last year when I went to see Metallica. I'd grabbed my credit-card, but left my ID, not thinking that I'd need it, so we had to turn around and rush back to the hotel for me to race up to the hotel room to grab it, then haul ass back to the venue(in rush-hour traffic no less, in the middle of Houston)

I ALWAYS make sure my wallet is in my purse before going ANYWHERE, so just be a bit more careful, lol.

    Hopefully you have fun partying.
