Good morning,
Yesterday we went to the cinema in the afternoon and saw "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the lightening thief". It was good and had some great special effects in it. A little like Harry Potter but with Gods and swords instead of magic;=)

ReplyDeleteI was wondering if this movie was good or not... It seems it's not bad, but more the kind i'll watch when it'll be on tv, cinema being a bit too expensive if the movie is not something i'm dying to see.
There's a storm here, lots of wind, grey sky (with the sun from time to time) and heavy rain. I really don't like this kind of weather, hopefully today i'm going out only to see my therapist, in the evening (6:30 pm)...

Well, I have to say, I hate going to the doctor and I haven't ever trusted any doctors, but sometimes it's just neccessary ;=)
Thanks for the tip, I wasn't sure if I should watch the movie or not, because I thought it might be just another boring fantasy thing without new ideas... the best fantasy movies are still The Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter, in my opinion...

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this film. But I went to cinema and saw "La Rafle" (The Round Up) I doubt you know this film, it's about the Second World War with the extarmination of french jews !
This film zoom especially on the jews children at that time... and it's very sad, but I think it's very important to know what happened.

I've already watched this one too, and it is for sure a greast movie, although not realy the same as it is in the book.

ReplyDeleteAlthough I just bought Twilight New Moon dvd... But I didn't go to see it to the cinema, I bought the dvd. ;)
Do you Anette like Twilight? I have seen now both the movies but I haven't read the books.
I saw it too, I didn't quite like it, but I can't wait for the Clash of the titans- it's the same story, but better :) and in 3D!!! Also The Iron man 2, The inception, Robin Hood..,.there will be some great movies soon...

ReplyDeleteHope you're doing good. I watched this movie some time ago and I absolutely loved it. It was a good interpretation of Greek Mythology in a smart and funny way. Uma Thurman was stunning as Medusa. And that Annabeth girl was really pretty. :)
What I didn't like much was the actress who played Persephone. Persephone is supposed to be fair and graceful. She looked pretty bitchy, but I liked some of her lines. The funniest part of the movie was when she tried to speak greek. She could not do it well, and it showed. :P
But nevertheless it was a very nice movie and I'm looking forward for the second installment. :D
