  5. Good evening Anette!
-26 degrees? Ok, that's just insane.. Right now here in Poland it's just -6. Unfortunetly, it started snowing again couple of days ago and - for me - it was a shock. I was pretty sure that spring is coming in big steps. Oh well I guess we'll have to wait a bit more ^^.

I have to say, I got incredibly exicited when I read that diary today! I can't wait for the album. At first the whole idea of having to wait for another year or so was really sad. I mean we've been waiting for so long and we still aren't quite sure when we'll get the album. BUT photos and the video made me more happy about it and finally I can feel that album is coming :). And while we're waiting for Imaginarium there are some other nice albums which are going to be released soon (eg. Within Temptation, Delain, Alestorm).

Also today I finally found a translation of your interview in Swedish Rock Magazine. And well... I don't know what to say.
You've gone through so many both good and bad things. I'd like to thank you for this interview - it makes me think like I know you a bit better and it shows the way you really are.

Lots of love for you and your family!

  22. Hi Anette!
-26! That's cold, but I think the worse is the wind. The weather of Finland looks a little bit like here, in Canada too. So I just wanted to say good luck with your vocals, you have a beautiful voice and I can't wait to here it on Imaginarium! :)

  24. Hi Anette :)

-26? That is cold! It's the same in Russia currently, as my friends tell me. I'm happy to be in Paris where the weather stays around +5.
If it stays that cold, guess you could always have a thermos with a hot drink with you! That's what I do :P

Hope the cold weather dies down a bit :)

  27. I feel your pain, we are getting blasted by a snow storm right now. I just came back in after snow blowing, it took me 1 1/2 hours to do my little lot. We have received so far 8 inches and it is still coming. Look at this link, I am only 10 miles north of Detroit.

Have a great night, and thanks for the Nightwish update.

  28. Awww, the picture is so adorable!

-26?!? Wow, that is insane. Where I am in southern England its +11 degrees so right now I cannot even imagine -1! I hope it is warmer when you go, =).

Are you recording at the same studio as last time? The one where you made us a video diary and gave us a tour around (I remember there being a sauna!).

    Have a lovely day!

  29. -26 degrees in Helsinki must be horrible... I guess it's like -50 degrees here where I live. :D Coldest I've ever experienced is -51 in Karasjok. Coldest I've seen in Helsinki was -15, and it was almost worse....

But I think it will be warmer when you travel. :) And it's sooo exciting....

Have a nice day and a good week!

  30. Hey Anette!

    I have a question :-D!
Are you taking Nemo with you to Helsinki? If yes, is the current temperature a reason to postpone your recordingsessions?

Just curious :-D! And I have to say, the plans sound amazing and the first parts I've heard in the youtube film are amazing! I'm excited!

    Love from Holland,

    Kayleigh

  33. -26???? Every time that I talk with my friends about Erasmus (to study for a period abroad) I say "Oh..I want to go in Sweden or in Finland..there is all better.."
Well..but not the temperature!!!! I don't know if I can stand -26! And in March! In December there are -50 degrees??
However good luck Anette! I think that the new album will be something very special..

  34. -26°????

  35. The pick is so hilarious!! Well -26 degrees?? God that is cold!! Here in the center of Mexico the lower temperature was -7 degrees and we felt that it was freezing hell!!

The next time that I feel that way I will thing that in Helsinki is worst xD

    So exciting about this news!!!

    Can't wait!!!

  37. Hey Anette!

That's what I said you in the early post : -26! So you don't read every comments ? :p I'm joking!

So, I'm back from Helsinki! It was so fucking great, I really enjoyed my visit there. And we only had -26 one day, the others days it was more like -14 degrees without wind! And I promise, if you had warm clothes it'll be okey! You could believe me I come from south of france, where we never see snow and where weather it's always warm, shinny and hot! =)
A thing you'll really need it's earmuffs (hope it's the good word)!

We stayed at the Scandic gran marina hotel, really good one =)

If you have some times I advice you to visit Suomenlina if you never went there. It's a island, you'll need 2 or 4 hours to visit it! You have to take the boat from the market place, every 20 minutes you have a boat and it's 4 euros for 12 hours so you can use it to go there and to come back! When you'll arrive at the Kings gate, at the end of the island you'll see the most amazing landscape I never seen... the Baltic is completly frozen and it's so beautiful, above all when you the sun is shinning =)
Let me know if you'll visit this little island =)

    Love & Hugs !
