Sharon and Robert WT

Good morning everyone!

A week ago I got a question from Tiia at Chaos Tube in Finland if I wanted to send a special question to Sharon and Robert in Within Temptation and of course I wanted to do that. As we are all touring parents of small children I asked them how they solve the touring with small children and if you watch the video you can hear their really nice and kind answer.

    Awww that's wonderful, Sharon den Adel is one of my favourite singers. Hope to see them in London, depending on the uni timetable :)

    I think they're right with what they said - "if there's a will, there's a way". Really good philosophy.

    What are you thinking about it? Will you have a Nanny or something like that, or will your husband care about your children?

    I really like their answer,and i think they are right,everything is possible :)
    Dont worry Anette,everything will be fine with the new tour and with Nemo :) I know its a bit hard to the parents to be a long time without their children,but im sure you will control everything :)

    Such a sweet answer, of course we have yourself and Jukka leaving little ones behind.
    At least it's no where near going to be as hectic a tour this time Tuo was saying.

    I missed Ethan after 3 days in London so I don't envy you

    That was a very good response. I agree that finding someone you can trust is very important. Perhaps a family member can join you on tour? Lots of options though! I'm sure it will all work out for the best. In the end, you simply have to follow your heart, no matter what anyone else says! Best of luck! ~V

    Hey Anette! :)

    I hope their answers helped you a lot, but like they say, you have to find out that on your own... How you feel it's the best way to manage it... Some things which are perfect for them or somebody else, maybe is not that acceptable for you.. It's all individual...

    Oh, and there's another thing I wanted to tell you... When posting videos from youtube, you can choose which size you want it, so that it doesn't turn out this cropped, because when we watch it on your page we cannot see almost the whole video. So, simply when you go to the video and click on "Embed", underneath of it, there are sizes which you can take, or type a custom size that you prefer! Easy as that!

    I hope you read this comment, and I also hope I could help you with something, although it's not that important, but it simply looks nicer!

    Excellent advice and great insight. Being in a touring band and having a family is hardly a unique situation in the music world (Sharon mentioned Ozzy, but there are tons of other examples), so there is no reason it couldn't work as long as there is good planning and good communication, and the parents have a great support system in place!
