Norway

I weep with Norway in this horrible day after the events yesterday where 91 persons died, most of them children and young people.

It´s just so horrible that I dont have words for how I feel but I send my condolances to the victims families, the survivors and all of Norway.

We really need to reach out to each other instead of hating...

  1. It´s the worst thing that has happened to my country since WW2. It´s terrifying that some people can do this, especially shoot at a youth camp and kill about 84 innocent teenagers. They have a arrested one man and think he is responsible for the bombing as well.

Thank you for this post and showing your feelings for what happened yesterday!

  2. Thank you so much!
Me and a friend was in the area not long before the blast, and my mother-in-law works there but luckily she had to leave early!
Love and cherish every moment with your family and friends, because you never know when your last time together will be!

  7. I'm sending love and best wishes to Norway and all Norwegian people. 2 generations ago, my family came from Norway, so I've always felt it is my spiritual home.

It's a truly awful thing to happen anywhere, especially as it effects so many young people. I hope we can all come together and give each other love and support as Norway heals and searches for answers.

  12. Hej Anette!

I can't believe that there's so huge amount of victims! :( First I thought that it's something like approximately 10 people. So sad news! I can't imagine how hard this is for the people of Norway and the closest ones of the victims. These kind of cruel things always remind me how bad this world is. Is there anymore one single totally safe place?

    My condolances also for everyone!

  14. Hi Anette !!
It was horrible !! Norway is a peaceful country and when i saw it on the news i just couldn't believe in that :S
I feel like this world isn't just a good place to live anymore,we are destroying it...People care too much when it's going to be the end of the world(like in 2012) but they forget that we are the ones who are ending the world,it's just horrible :(
Well,at least there are a few good things in life to enjoy :) I prefer to not think in this ...
I hope that the things there get better ! I wish all the luck and the best to Norway :)
    Kisses and Hugs from Portugal

  19. It's horrible. One of my best friends lives in Norway, and i'm very glad she's okay. I sympathize with the victims' families.
But honestly, I don't think it's right that they are using the suspect's interests against him. If he did it, then it's a good thing they caught him. But they're using things like the fact he was into socialism and stuff. Just because you have those views doesn't mean that you are a killer.
I hope everything is cleared up soon. But that won't take the heal anyone's pain.
    RIP to the victims....

  20. It was so, so sad to hear about what happened. :( I'm in Finland on a little holiday right now, but I feel so deep sorrow.

Last night I was listening to Scorpions in eastern Finland, and they did one song with Tarja Turunen, and Klaus Meine dedicated that song to all those people in Oslo and in Norway. It was so touching, I really had tears in my eyes then, like so many times today... Suddenly this summer was over, in such a horrible way.

Can't be good...a back yard Holy War...
    Most upsetting, and sad /:(

    ...and also in the news:

    take care, and God bless
    lots of love

  25. @ little broken heart..
uh.. he was not into socialism.. he was an ultra right wing extremist (like the unabomber) and has admitted to the whole thing.. even posted a 1000+ pages manifest online..oh.. and they caught him one the island where the shooting happened with a rifle in his hands.
