I am in shock!!!

I just woke up and got the news that one of the biggest artists have passed away...

Michael Jackson

He was truly one of the biggest icons and for me, I must say he has been a big inspiration. I listened to Michael when I was a teenager and I loved everything he did. I cant understand that he already is gone from this world...

Today will be a sad sad day for me...and for many many others. My thoughts are with his children and closest family.

Rest in piece Michael, I love you.

Beautiful things...

Oh, when I someday have a big house to renovate I so would love to have these things in there;=)

Or this???? ;=)

SMEG

So, I dont have a fridge in my new apartment and now I really feel I need one. When you dont feel well, like I dont today, I really would like to have a fridge with lots of food so I dont have to go out and fix food.

I want a fridge called SMEG and I am deciding between these colours (I have black and white in my whole apartment).

Rufus

So, I have the worst head ache today too. I exercised one hour in hope to get it away but no. And I get so cranky and tired when I have head ache like this. Its almost that its migraine so I have decided to sit down in the couch for a while and I put on the TV and there is a nice concert with Rufus Wainwright singing Judy Garland. He is a great interpreter and I love big bands;=)

Here he sings Somewhere over the rainbow. Its sooo beautiful! What a feeling he has...;=) Enjoy!

Why do things go wrong?

Yesterday at the barbeque we had this discussion about children who seem to look normal without problems, that all of a sudden makes a really serious crime, like rape or murder.

The woman who were there is a high school teacher and in her class there was a boy, 17 or 18 years old, whom was really quiet and kind in school. Then just some weeks ago he was arrested and put in jail and she wondered what had happened. It turned out that this boy had been at the train station and pulled in a young girl at the rest room and raped her...

She was shocked because he really didnt seem like a violent or aggressive person, but he wasnt such a bright student. Little under the average of his age when it comes to learning.

Another story that has gotten lots of attention and been shocking to many here, is the story about a 16 year young girl, who was at a party the day before the last school prom. She disapperad from the party for some hours and were then found beaten to death later in the night very close to the party site.
They later arrested one boy and one girl who are together since 3 years, in the same age for the killing. It was the boy who had killed her but by the order of the girl. She had sent him several sms-texts where she wanted him to kill her. They all knew each other and they think in the newspapers that he killed her to prove his love to the other girl. They think she wanted the other girl killed because of jealousy. The boy and the girl were both popular and good kids. He loved football and she was a top student.

So why do these things happen? What is it that makes these kids act and do these violent things? Is there something we, as parents, as friends, can do to prevent it?
Is it the parents fault? Lack of interest, lack of love, lack of caring? Or do you think these kids are just born to be killers/rapists?

Let me know your thoughts on this.
